L.S.D
Game: Guilty Gear XX #Reload (JP version)System: PSPEmulators: None Any gamers that love fighting games would have heard of or play Guilty Gear series before. For those that has been living under the rocks for the past few years, Guilty Gear is basicallya fighting game ala Street Fighters or KOF, set in the distant future with diverse (or whacky)characters and interesting storyline. This PSP version is a 100% port from the PS2 version (and it is the same as the PC version too).Every secret characters, galleries, unlocked movies, missions and stories are the same. Saying this, some people might not want to purchase this game since they own the PS2 versionbut read on and judge by yourself. Graphics:Anyone who has played Guilty Gear games will definetly agreed that GG features high-res character design with very detailed and beatiful overall design. So, how does the PSP version fares?I am happy to report that the PSP version still give us the same high-res graphics on the PSP screen. All the background details are there, every animations and movements can be made out clearly.Nothing is left out. For those that are very particular, yes, you will notice jagged edges on the graphicsbut it can be ignored on a portable screen. The good news is Sammy decided not to follow Capcom'sway of porting Darkstalker (or Vampire Saviour) to PSP. We get a true widescreen fighting groundinstead of the widened backgrounds and characters which is featured (really ugly) in Darkstalker.A real eye-candy. Graphics: 9.5/10 Controls:I hate using D-Pad to play fighting games. That is why I amunable to enjoy Darkstalker very much.Thankfully, Sammy see the needs for the analog control to be enabled. It is a blessing. All movesexecute flawlessly without any problems. Controls are responsive. Layout of the buttons are just at the right place (and if you don't like it, you can re-map it). Controls: 10/10 Sound: All the music, voiceovers, sound effects are perfectly ported from PS2 to this PSP version. You can still listen to each individual soundeffects and bgm at the option menu. And the J-rock bgm is well...rocking The music is really loud on PSP speakers and even betterwith headphones. Can't find any faults here. Sound: 9.5/10 Gameplay:As I mention, this is a 100% port from PS2, so everything is intact. you have few modes to play with, which is Story mode, Survival, MOM, Training and Mission mode. All the fight mode (Roman Cancel, dust loop, Perfect Defend, Instant Kill) are in. Gameplay is fast and furious with no slowdown at all.A lot can happened on the screen and you will not see a slowdown in framerate. And the loadingtime is really short, maximum 5 seconds for each match. The Japanese in the game won't hamperyou in the gameplay since all the menus are in English! You will only face difficulties understandingthe story, which is very minor to me. The only complaint you can have in this department is the lack of original materials. Since this is a port of PS2, all the unlocked galleries, secret characters, missions are the same. If you have played the PS2 version (or the PC version) to death, you will not find anything new here. Gameplay: 10/10 Overall: Sammy has set a standard on how a port should be. Nothing has been taken out from this sweet PSP game. This is the best fighting game for PSP to date. The lack of new contents mightput off some people who have own the game on the console but the idea of having a Guilty Geargame on your hand is too much to pass. Recommended for you to import. Graphics: 9.5/10Control: 10/10SOund: 9.5/10Gameplay: 10/10Overall Grade: 9.75/

L.S.D
None mentioned as of now. My recommendation is import the ASIA version from Play Asia. It cost only US19++ and it will come with the Japanese manual PLUS a booklet with instruction in English. Or just download the ISO

But seeing how Daisuke said she was boring lacking the uniqueness, he made she a he.
