DrMD 5b9 released
CES: Castlevania on XBLA
This dude's Flickr has pictures of it. Expect it sometime randomly this year hopefully.
Also Konami said it's based on the Playstation version and not the Saturn's.
[updated]
- Upgraded graphics and sound while the game remains intact
- supports wide screen
- graphics are cleaned up and have less aliasing
- no word on Dolby 5.1 but music has been enhanced
- same cheesy voice acting and dialogue
- the game is exactly like the PS version
- the game is less than 50MB thanks to new audio compression techniques
- supports d-pad and analog stick, the article makes it sound like the analog stick is better
- No word on pricing and it still has an Early 2007 release date (before April)
