Raine 0.50.1 released
Arcade emulator
Here it is, already... there are a few changes this time again (even a new game), but not as many modifications in the code so I can release it faster...Notice that the windows binary has got whole new dlls, which has made the zip file to shrink significantly. zlib1.dll isn't used anymore, and if you still have libpng12.dll you can remove it too !
Last piece of advice for windows : if you switch from windowed mode to fullscreen and you start to have weird blinking effects in the gui, either launch a game or relaunch raine. This is the last problem with double buffering, and I didn't bother to fix this one yet !
Grab it from the download section, linux debian package updated too !
raine (0.50.1) unstable; urgency=low
* double buffer: forced yuv overlay colors when in fullscreen double buffered (red & blue could be inverted)
* double buffer : fixed the crash when using scale2x/3x
* fix the dlls in windows so that SDL_image and raine use the same dll for png.
* Add some info in the video info dialog about the blit method selected (yuv overlay, scale2x, 3x or simple blits).
* fix very slow gui updates when in fullscreen with a hardware surface
* Added the mutlipac 1.5 rom (see : http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~msilvius/sillyarcade.htm ). Sorry the rom is rare, and that's one of the reasons why I added it. The other is because it's an impressive hack : 24 games in only 1 z80 rom, I never saw this before !
When you have selected a game in the menu, press P1 start or p1 b1 to play it. The hiscores and history are reset with the game you select. To return to the menu, reset raine (F1 is the default control for that). So it adds virtualy 24 new games in only 1 rom
!
* Now raine changes its resolution if you ask it in video options even if it uses yuv overlays. It can be useful to force the yuv overlay to exactly 2x the size of the original screen for example (to get a clearer picture). And it will try to avoid windows biger than the screen in windowed modes.
* double buffering is now optional, you can disable it in "Video options". The default is to use it when available, and normally all the bugs related to double buffering are fixed, but anyway, maybe it can be useful to disable it sometimes...
* Fix the fps counter when the framecount is not limited
* The return of the sound options dialog, with the addition of the ensoniq voice filters option (leave it to yes if you have a fast computer, the sound is better with this option turned on).

VSH Rebooter PRX v0.2
VSH Rebooter PRXv0.2 by MaTiAz
What's new:
- Included an easy installer, which can install the PRX to Network Update or Location Free TV (or both if you like).
Read the notes about the installer though.
- The Reboot PRX can now shut down the PSP too, hold L while selecting Network Update -> shutdown
Installer notes:
- The installer can backup and flash your topmenu_plugin.rco and update_plugin.prx. It can also flash the lftv_plugin.prx
but it won't back it up, as the Rebooter PRX is designed for FW 3.03OE (it will work with 2.71SE too though) which has the
lftv_plugin.prx removed. And thanks to AZeyC for finding out what PRX is responsible for the location free tv button in the
XMB
- The installer copies the update_plugin.prx and/or lftv_plugin.prx from the /PSP/GAME/rbprxinst. Do not change the directory name.
- Backups of update_plugin.prx and topmenu_plugin.rco are copied to /psp/game/rbprxinst/original. Don't lose this folder, otherwise you
have to get the files somewhere else.
- Installer doesn't check if there is enough space for the update_plugin.prx. The Rebooter PRX is only 2,5 KB and it removes the old
prx before flashing so it assumes there is enough space for it, but be sure that there is enough space if you try to flash another
PRX as the update_plugin.prx.
- To restore your topmenu_plugin.rco and update_plugin.prx, move the files from rbprxinst/original/ to rbprxinst/ overwriting the
included files. Then flash the files using the installer.
- It's noobproof if you use ONLY the files included in the package, but in most cases it wont **** up your flash if you don't try to flash
anything too big or use a corrupted/otherwise f'ed up topmenu_plugin.rco.
- The installer doesn't check if the PRX's or topmenu_plugin.rco exist, SO MAKE SURE THEY'RE IN THE SAME FOLDER AS THE EBOOT BEFORE INSTALLING,
because the installer removes the old prx in flash before flashing the new one.
- I recommend connecting the PSP to a wall adapter, just to avoid problems. The process takes just a few seconds though, but just to be sure
Installation:
- Copy the rbprxinst folder to /psp/game/ like you would with any other homebrew (GAME, not GAME150 or GAME302)
- Launch the Reboot PRX Installer
- If you don't know what to do after these steps, you should NOT be using this or trying to install this.
