The Nintendo Revolution is now called...

    Gryph
    By Gryph,

    Nintendo Wii. As in "We".

    http://revolution.nintendo.com/

While the code-name "Revolution" expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer. Wii will break down that wall that seperates video players from everybody else. Wii will put people more in touch with their games.. and each other. But you're probably asking: What does the name mean?

Wii sounds like "we," which emphasizes this console is for everyone. Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.

Wii has a distinctive "ii" spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people gathering to play. And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of video games that sets it apart from the crow. So that's Wii. But now Nintendo needs you. Because, it's not really about you or me. It's about Wii. And together, Wii will change everything.

My god what a crappy name. I'm just going to keep calling it Revolution.

    By Robert,
    FakeNES 0.5.8 released.

    Change Log

    * Save states have once again been updated to version 1.03.  Older state files can still be loaded.

    * To avoid problems, it is highly recommended that you delete your configuration file before running this new version.

    * OpenAL is fixed, and is going to stay that way.  If you have problems with it, try increasing your audio buffer size beyond the default setting of 4 frames.  Thanks to KittyCat for helping me out with it. ^-^

    * The GUI should work fully in OpenGL mode now, but the new file selector may be quite buggy. ^^;;

    * Lots of big changes in this release, expect bugs.  Many. ;b

Programs with help links are in bold. Right-click to

bring up a popup menu. Double-click on a link to open

that page in your browser. You may have to grant

permission to open popups. Currently only Dungeons of

Daggorath has additional links. More will be added as

      time permits. Applet only.
