    Mini vMac 2.7.1 released

    Robert
    By Robert,

A mac emulator that runs on your PC.

November 22, 2005 version 2.7.1 officially released. (There is no change from the beta.) Mini vMac now has more advanced control of speed, superseding the previous 'limit speed' option. Other highlights are an experimental compile time option for sound in the Linux version (thanks to Stephan Kochen), and that the Windows version is up to 40 percent faster by simply using a better c compiler.

    By Robert,
Basilisk II is an Open Source 680×0 Macintosh emulator developed by Christian Bauer. That is, it enables you to run 68k MacOS software on your computer, even if you are using a different operating system. However, you still need a copy of MacOS and a Macintosh ROM image to use this program. Basilisk II is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Guilty Gear XX #Reload (JP Ver.) for PSP Reviewed!

Long time member and fighting game fan L.S.D has written a review for the Japanese PSP version of Guilty Gear XX #Reload. Check it out here.

Any gamers that love fighting games would have heard of or played the Guilty Gear series before. For those that have been living under a rock for the past few years, Guilty Gear is basically a fighting game ala Street Fighters or KOF, set in the distant future with diverse (or whacky) characters and interesting storylines.

This PSP version is a 100% port from the PS2 version (and it is the same as the PC version too). All secret characters, galleries, unlocked movies, missions and stories are the same. Saying this, some people might not want to purchase this game since they own the PS2 version but read on and judge by yourself.

    clrmamepro 3.81b released

    Robert
    By Robert,
    3.81b (22-Nov-2005)

    * misc: some compile tests with VS2005. Cleaned up the sourcecode, so it will compile with 0 errors/0 warnings under VS2005, although this build is still compiled with VS2003. Updated code includes some C++ bugfixes, lots of future deprecated functions replacements, etc...most likely the last compile for VS2003 and this year.

    * added: profiler->edit datfile, opens the selected datfile with the assigned editor

    * added: www profiler does an auto-refreshes on each entry. You can disable this behaviour in the profiler options.

    * fixed: progress bar for www profiler xml files doesn't get reset after update

    * misc: some menu text changes
