    PDRoms has reported that Miemt11 has released his MP4 and AVC encoder/player for the Playstation Portable. Below are the changes and additions in this version.

     

    - Build-in Video player (Support AVI, MOV, MP4, AVC, RMVB, etc.) Now you can watch it before you decide to encode.

    - Full Screen Video (Video Player only)

    - Build-in Music player (ogg, aac, mp3, mp4, wma, ra, etc.)

    - Listen to your favourite mp3 song while encoding.

    - Add a ProgressBar to show your encoding progress status

    - No more POP-UP dos console and lagging screen

    - 5% increase in encoding speed

    - Playback PSP compatible MP4 file within the Build-in Video player

    - Fix some windows exit bugs

    - Fix some encoding bugs

    - Improve error handling

    - Simultaneous watching and encoding a video

    - Simultaneous browsing the Net and encoding a video

    - New Black and Flat GUI (Great Inprovement)

    - Right-Click anywhere with in the program to activate the short cut menu

    - Now the program can be send to the System Tray

    - Notify you when a PSP is detected

    - Build-in Simple Internet Browser

    New release of Waffle

    Now available at PDRoms is Waffle (22-11-2005), a visual novel interpreter for the GP2X. Below are the changes in this release.

     

    - Now if you push the R buttom, you can see the mouse Cursor

    - Skip key is changed (stick ledt -> Y buttom)

    - Now you can change sound volume to push volume buttom on gp2x.

    - Now waffle can search the avd file in voice folder


    devkitGP2X rc1 Released

    Yesterday, Emuholic reported that WinterMute released the first candidate for devkitGP2X. This is a special build of GCC that allows Win32 users to compile binaries for use with the GP2X. You can obtain rc1 of devkitGP2X here at SourceForge.


    Optimized MAME builds!

    Emu.pl has reported today that optimized MAME builds for 0.102 and 0.102u1 are available at redump.emubase.de. These special builds cover the following processors: AMD Athlon XP, AMD Athlon 64, Intel Pentium 3, and Intel Pentium 4. This thread is subject to movement in the future.
