    SSSPSX 0.0.24 released!

    SSSPSX has been upgraded to version 0.0.24, in both Japanese and English.

     

     

    * GTE

     

    A complete overhaul and re-written main route with MMX. Done. Dragon Quest 4 opening scene now much faster (FPS110 -> FPS 130)

     

    * CDROM

     

    Investigate the actions when mode register report bit is set and implement if necessary.

    A bug present from 0.0.20 is now fixed from 0.0.24.

     

    Investigate CD-DA volume control and implement if necessary.

    Not Yet. Will only be implemented in internal cdrom plugin.

     

    * MDEC

     

    Re-write IDCT process with MMX.

    Done.

     

    * DMA

     

    Correct DMA transfer timing in SPU and MDEC and etc.

    Done.

     

    By correcting MDEC timing and FF9 problem fixed.

     

    By correcting GPU data transfer timing and Bealphareth control explanation screen problem fixed.

     

    Corrections in SPU had no effect and so it is removed.

     

    * SIO

     

    No plans as of yet.

    However, problem in Patlabor, where pressing START button exits emu and may have something with this.

     

    * Memory Card

     

    Corrected a bug where you couldn't 'Continue' when swapping memorycard in the memory card tab

     

    There is a problem with BIOS memory card manager when memory card is swapped and 'Continue',

     

    And therefore 'Continue' is disabled. No reason found yet.

     

    * SAVE & LOAD

     

    SAVE & LOAD from the SAVE & LOAD tab

    Done. However there may be several bugs present.

    Ninety-Nine Nights Teaser

    N3: Ninety-Nine Nights has promise. It’s coming to the Xbox 360 by way of Tetsuya Mizuguchi (creator of Rez & Lumines) and Phantagram (Kingdom Under Fire). Not surprisingly, N3 is shaping up to be an action-heavy RTS—think: Kingdom Under Fire on BALCO juice. Players will be treated to massive battles, not unlike the ones depicted in the LOTR movie trilogy. And with Mizuguchi behind the steering wheel, we can expect top-notch presentation.     Shenmue Online Development Halted

    According to the Japanese PC gaming site 4Gamer.net, JCE have confirmed that the development of Shenmue Online has been halted. Though the reason for ceasing development is unknown as of now, JCE will be making an announcement on the matter next week.
