    Emu Loader 5.1.5 released

    Robert
    By Robert,

    Front End

Oops. A couple of bugs was preventing some users to update an existing EL setup. A clean install solves the problem. This build fixes a column indexes bug and bios name detection for clone games (games that use a bios only). The file "\ini_files\columns\default.ini" is not available on the package anymore. It is created automatically if it does not exist.

    version 5.1.5 change log [August 11, 2007]

    ------------------------------------------

.fixed: Bios name not being set for clones (neogeo, etc...)

.fixed: Set columns indexes was screwed

    uBee512 1.0.1 released

    Robert
    By Robert,

An emulator for the Premium Microbee 512Kb FDD computer.

    11 August 2007 - S.J.Kay

    ------------------------

    Bug fix release: v1.0.1

Wrong default disk image type was set for boot. Was boot.dip, changed to boot.dsk.

    10 August 2007 - S.J.Kay

    ------------------------

Release uBee512 v1.00 sources and Windows binaries on sourceforge:

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/ubee512/

    3 July 2007 - S.J.Kay

    ---------------------

Added an 'in c' also known as 'in (hl),c' to the makez80.c file. This instruction is an undocumented Z80 instruction but quite valid I believe. The instruction is similar to the 'in a,c' instruction but no value is returned except for the flags. This was added for some Z80 code I wrote that used it.

    26 June 2007 - S.J.Kay

    ----------------------

Discovered there was a much later version of MZ80. The latest version is now being used v3.4. Previously v2.7 had been used. The newer version of makez80 insists that an emit parameter is provided otherwise you you end up compiling with the old mz80.asm still! The new version fixes the cycle count returned and appears to be quicker as eluded to in the change history.

Also found that some applications that did not work previously do now with the newer version.

    5th June 2007 - S.J.Kay

    -----------------------

Welcome to the "uBee512" Microbee Premium disk model emulator. This is a fork of the nanowasp v0.22 project and commenced on the 5th of June 2007.

The new project includes a large amount of additions and improvements over v0.22 of nanowasp. The new fork is "uBee512".

Dynasty Warriors and Fullmetal Alchemist videos on 0.9.4!

    [ Posted by Bositman 02:46 on 12 08 07 ]

Since its summer time and nothing much goes on these days (yes the devs and testers also have lives!) I thought I'd entertain you with some videos I recorded, showing off some of the new fixes in 0.9.4.

First and foremost, you'll notice perfect sound in both Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends and Fullmetal Alchemist 2 videos! Also, Fullmetal Alchemist 2 did not even boot in 0.9.3 but with the SPU2 fixes in 0.9.4 the game looks playable and I've already reached Chapter 2 with no problems at all.Note that the videos were taken using Bilinear filtering and 4X AA and are sped up to 100% speed although they did run pretty near that thanks to the new ZeroGS!

About progress I'll just say there are some new plugins in development which have only seen null versions of until now, zeroGS 16:9 support and the new bios format getting implemented (still not complete)

All three videos were recorded using the XVID codec, so you'll need that to play them back.

Also you'll need a bittorent client such as uTorrent to download the videos!

    Here they are:

    Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends

    Fullmetal Alchemist 2

Please seed for as long as possible! Oh and have some nice summer vacations.
