    Changes in version 1.2.0 (since version 1.1.3)

    ----------------------------------------------

     

    * many improvements in the TV emulation; to enable all the new features, use OpenGL mode and set the display quality to 3 (requires OpenGL 2.0 or newer and shader support)

    * added a tedmon-like monitor to the debugger; it supports all the commands, including assemble, but there are also some improvements and additional features (use ? to print the list of commands, or ? N for help on command N)

    * it is now possible to set breakpoints on TED video positions in the debugger

    * trace command in the monitor for logging CPU instructions to a text file; when debugging the main CPU, the TED video position at the first cycle of each opcode is also logged

    * light pen emulation

    * hardware level 1526/MPS-802 printer emulation

    * the file I/O ROM module now also includes a tape turbo; to enable it, set $0647 to $17, $27, $37, or $47 to select speed (from slowest to fastest), and use device 7 when saving

    * tape playback and recording can be sent to the sound output

    * the RAM startup pattern has been made configurable

    * minor TED emulation improvements

    * various bug fixes

    MiSFiTMAME 0.113.7 released

    Probably the last one for a few months, I need to get back into the real world for a while.

     

    Here's the change log:

    This should be the last release on the 0.113 platform.

    It is mainly for bug fixes.

     

     

    Source changes

    Clean unneeded files from source tree.

     

    Removed validity check for GAME_NO_SOUND, as it makes no allowance for demos that really have no sound.

     

    Removed unneeded validity check when ROM_IGNORE greater than region size.

     

    Updated faq.txt and added a new file, broken.txt.

     

    Fixed arm.c cpu core.

     

    Fixed decodemo.

     

    Fixed graphics corruption in froggrs.

     

    Pacman

    - Enabled the multi-map feature on pacman6, pacweird, pacmn6m2, snakeyes, vectr6m, tbone, vectr6tb, ultrapac.

    - Fixed crash problem on 2nd screen of the Ms. Pacman 6-map games.

    - Fixed mspacii.

    - Fixed protection issue with pheartb.

    - Fixed dot counters in mshangly.

    - Parent / clone relationships fixed.

     

    Neogeo

    - Some sets had no parent instead of neogeo

    - cnbe had wrong width

    - most homebrew games had excessive memory assigned to them

    - fix graphics in shockt2w and fr2cd [JacKc]

    - Rename all kof99 p roms from 152-px to 251-px.

     

    Galaga

    - Add proper death sound in Twisty's Galaga Ghost hacks

    - Add missing bang sound for bootlegs

     

    Ghost Muncher

    - Replace gmunch and gmunch2 with ghostmun (from MAME 0.61)

    - Fix sprites being cut off near top of screen

    - In the intermission, make large pacman visible

     

    96in1

    - Menu key is now F3 instead of F1

    Multipac

    - Menu key is now F3 instead of F1

     

    Removed graphics banking in multipac, 96in1 and superabc, and reduced memory requirements.

    Superabc no longer crashes the debugger.

    - The operation timing of CD-DA(CD sound source) play processing was brought close to a real machine. In "Double Dragon II", "Kisou Louga", "3x3 Eyes", "Laplace no Ma" and "Linda Cube", etc., the timing of "Sound and picture" has improved. Perhaps all these games are similar.

     

    - Operation speed & timing of CPU has been elaborately adjusted. The following effects existed:

    -- In the last stage of "Akumajou Dracula X", when going up the stairs, the problem that had been uncommonly occasionally freezed (generated from a recent version) was solved.

    -- In "Wizardry I&II", the problem that the status display part had shaken (generated from a recent version) was solved.

    -- In the start demo of "Necros no Yousai", "The attack scene of Amazon dashes out only by one frame" was reproduced.

    -- In the opening scene of "Shin Megami Tensei", the problem that the screen sometimes fell into disorder by one frame occasionally was solved.

     

    - In "Wizardry V", the trouble to which the enemy character had not been displayed (generated from v1.15) was corrected.

     

    - Additionally, a detailed part has been improved and corrected.
