Anyone ever owned a Jaguar console?
Alpha replied to DropDeadEd's topic in Other Emulators [/pc/other]
The controller looks like someone ripped out a bunch of Select/Start buttons from as many Super Nintendo controllers as they could find. I can't imagine trying to play a game with a controller like that. -
SNES by far has the most disturbing pr0n games. I didn't know the Super Nintendo had any? I just can't picture Nintendo allowing to license any porno/adult game. Care to explain how that could happen? Hell, look at all the drama about them trying to get Grand Theft Auto on their Wii product line up.

Good music, eh? I'll try it out. If it wasn't for the in-game music in Street Fighter .. I probably would have never liked the game as much as I do.

Does the Microsoft index go up to 10? 3.9/10 is pretty bad Anyways, this thread has gone off-topic. Let's try to hop back on if possible.

Worth a shot, I guess. Might've had more of an inclination to try if I was at all enticed by Vista. I have the RTM version which means I can use any version of Vista and install it. Obviously I went for the Ultimate version.. it's collecting dust on my partition at the moment. You can install any version you want with an original Windows Vista Ultimate disc as well. Wasn't the RTM release a beta version of Vista? edit: Nevermind, I think the RTM is what is bundled with the HP/Dell desktops.

Worth a shot, I guess. Might've had more of an inclination to try if I was at all enticed by Vista. Seeing as how Dell just realized that having all their latest Dell Computers only with Vista on them siginificantly stunted sales..... Just recently, they decided to bring back the option to install Windows XP on them again. It was a very smart move IMO. Vista = Windows ME 2007

I wouldn't be surprised if Bill Gates handed them some cash underneath the table. Why not?

Seriously, I could care less about seeing some extra trees in a background scenary. HD is a complete waste of money IMO. Until we get 3D movies, 2D has already reached its peak.

Of course not. He must have manipulated the operator ... lied to them in someway, shape, or form to make them believe he has a purchased copy of Windows Vista in his hands. Think a little people.

Essentially nothing, but if you are gonna be looking for netplay, or even people to play with you'd be out of luck. I have never used Nebula even when it first came out so I'm somewhat biased. Well, forget about netplay .. I myself would use FBA only for netplay. I can't even stand using mame32k for netplay as well. However, Nebula is a great emulator, and the hacks made for it in the past have been spectacular regardless of how much ElSemi disliked them. The sames goes with WinKawaks -- those 2 emulators battled it out pretty hard in 2002-2004. I never bothered with either extensively, I remember how popular Neorage X was back in 98-2000 I like mame's netplay. I prefer the way it loads a bit more than the other two emus. Neorage X remains my number one choice for any old computer I have lying around. It's by far one of the most well made DOS emulators. I don't have to worry about anything.. I am running a Core 2 Duo Extreme and Intel Accelerated Graphics. I can run nuclear tests if I wanted. I like the processor, but Intel graphics card? Ewwwww. Go with nVidia please!

That reminds me of the Hewlett Packard technical support for their computers. Yeah, I've bought a few HP desktops in the past. All I can say is, the support team from India is a real pain to deal with. Sometimes I don't understand them and most of the time they don't understand me. I don't know how JD & Power gave them an award in customer support last year. Also, computer companies in Florida (Aliewnare, Dell) seem to hire a lot of Cubans for their customer support. They're better than Indians, but I forget how many times I've been lost in translation.

If anyone hasn't played the porographic games available for MAME, I don't know where you've been. All I can say is that they're mostly puzzle games and have pictures of women that probably look like grandma's by now. I personally don't find them appealing.

WRONG. You can run A LOT of commercial games with Desmume and Ideas. Not that many. The emulation just isn't up to par right now. I'd suspect it to be very well in a year or two if we're lucky. Right now the sales of flashcards have pretty much stunted the need to emulate the console.

Well, here is some news that was just released today. Walmart declares HD-DVD the winner over Blu-Ray

Dude, I hate to bust your bubble, but I've never heard of this game. Maybe post a few pics or tell us what it's about?

a close is in order? I honestly found it kind of sad at how many threads are almost years old. Don't worry about it. Unfortunately, we've had cases with weeks of inacitivity in forum posts on different areas of 1Emulation. Feel free to post in any thread that's on the first page for any forum category.

why don't you just call Micro$oft for valid keys? Last I remember, I obtained several by calling them for a new one. Did you already have a purchased copy of Windows Vista? Wouldn't you like to know. Guess not. You must know your way around with microsoft operators.

It would really depend. Sony is kind of falling on hard times as of late. If Sony would just stop wasting their time with all these pointless firmware releases and paying these programmers 24/7 to battle these crackers -- they may have gotten somewhere by now. They should just be happy the PS2 is on a respirator since the PS3 has already died.

To be fair, both cars would flaunt dirt effectively. True .. a little off topic .. but there is another problem with black and white handheld devices. If you look at a black Nintendo DS Lite or Sony PSP .. you'll notice that they easily smudge and show fingerprints. But if you grab a white version of both handhelds ... any smudges or fingerprints will be very hard to notice.

Seeing as how most of the popular games for the CPS3 were available on the Dreamcast ... I don't expect this system to ever be emulated. Most people will just download the latest copy of the nullDC dreamcast emulator, grab a backup CD of the game they wanted to play with a "cps3 emulator" and have fun. From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPS-3 ...........

I don't understand the fasicination with black electronic accessories. IMHO, if anything, they'll die faster than the ones that are white. Ever touch a white and black car on a sunny day? You'll notice the black one is scorching hot, while the white one isn't too shabby. Maybe my knowledge of this kind of stuff is limited, but having a white console should help cooling as well, and preserve the life of the console better than black.

I don't even think the loss of the exclusive for Final Fantasy was a big blow to Sony. By far, the biggest blow was the loss of the Grand Theft Auto Series. I could picture all the kids pleading with their mommies and daddies to purchase the system so they can buy the game.
