  1. 1Emulation has been bought by PornoLive! InterActive and is now an auxillary of our massive porno empire. Please enjoy your stay. The pleasure is all yours!
  2. »» Homepage / Download Thanks to ChaosCode for messaging and notifying me about this new release.
  3. I dunno, Virtua Fighter pretty much beats 2D gameplay vs 3D gameplay pretty wildly. http://snk-capcom.com/snkgallery/ pics there. It looks nice, but let's face it... the gameplay will never be the same.
  4. I got to admit, it's quite depressing that we'll never see a new KOF in the 2D generation again. Mark my words, 2D will always have better games than 3D. I'm going to miss the days of new KOF/SNK releases to NeoGeo.
  5. Happy Birthday Drake! You've come a long ways in maturity, keep it up.
  6. Great review. Although, it would be great if you could add some screenshots.
  7. Please do not request rom files here. Read the board rules.
  8. We apologize again for it taking so long to validate the new registrations. With the overflowing amount of new traffic we've been receiving, it's difficult to keep up with it. We receive around 25-50 new registrations a day, and if we miss one day, it just piles up on us. Sorry for any inconveniences we have caused yet again. Regards, 1Emulation Staff
  9. I'll have my console list posted later this week.. But for the PC, it's easy... Commander Keen (which included Pong! ).. and Wolfenstein 3D. Of course Doom and Doom II were also my favorites. If I remember correctly, Doom II was either 3 or 5 floppy disks. Who can forget the code "IDDQD"? EDIT: I probably tried a hundred times to run Duke Nukem 3D on my 486DX2, but it just couldn't handle it. I believe the requirements for that game was a 60mhz system? And a 486DX2 is already max'ed out to 50mhz. I did play the game though on a later Pentium 2. EDIT2: I forgot to mention that I also ran Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3D on a 386SX. I upgraded to a 486DX2 a couple years later.
  10. If you got a PSP, there are a lot more emulators out now.
  11. 2012 folks, the Mayans have never been wrong. We're all going to die.
  12. Now that's what I like to see, more wallpapers with the beautiful 1Emulation front page. Wait until the 1Emulation front page goes through an overhaul, then you'll all be wanting to slap that thing in everyone's face. Oh, you just wait and see!
  13. What the hell are you talking about? What home made distro?
  14. Okay, barely, the only differences I see between KDE or Gnome are the visual stuff. KDE visually looks a lot better than Gnome, but is there more than meets the eye? And also, is there any Linux app that replaces both of these and uses its own scheme and does it well?
  15. Well, I tried the Live Ubuntu CD. It listed the wireless network I wanted to use, but even when I put the correct information, it wouldn't seem to actually work. The OS seems very plain, not stylish, maybe that's just Gnome. Anybody try Linspire? EDIT: Better yet, can you guys tell me how to run KDE on Ubuntu? EDIT #2: Nevermind, that's Kubuntu. EDIT #3: What's the difference between the CD and DVD version?
  16. Due to the recent surge of registrations, it's been hard to keep up with them all and check them one by one. Therefore, all registrations will be validated during Monday (March 20) and Tuesday (March 21). We're sorry for the delay as we've all been very busy lately. Regards, 1Emulation Staff
  17. Erhmm.. I wouldn't recommend buying from this seller. The most recent responses of the business has been "defective hardware" and "bad communication" and horrible "returns". http://www.resellerratings.com/seller8196.html
  18. yea it is from there (you can tell by the abc thingy on the corner) I was just thinking maybe ABC News played it for their 5'oclock news or something to that extent?
  19. Ubuntu is very recommend for beginners, especially because of the Debian package manager. Not everything will work out of the box, but for the most things you will find.deb (Debiaqn package) somewhere. And even if you run in trouble, the Ubuntu community is great for beginners, as I heard and read you can get an answer to every question without being labeled as "n00b" in every second post. Well, good thing I have a FAT32 partition for Ubuntu, so I'll have no NTFS worries. So I looked at the download page.. if I'm on an Intel Pentium 4 file system, what ISO do I want to download? http://mirror.cs.umn.edu/ubuntu-releases/5.10/ You need x86/i386. Ah, what's the difference between the Live version vs. Install version? Oh and, is there any tutorials available (link please) to install Linux on a FAT32 partition?

  21. They still are IMHO (much better than HP, Compaq, Sony, and Gateway); they just don't have AMD processors. However, they just bought Alienware, so I'm sure that'll change sooner or later.
  22. Why don't you just search your stations using http://shoutcast.com ?
  23. I thought all of these were really good eye openers. You can be sure I'll be checking out / purchasing that lady's book from a Library or a nearby bookstore. That's what I call good LoveCop material.
  24. I was watching this video clip which is pretty damn hilarious. Apparently, he was drunk during the show. I'm just wondering, did he get fired after that or what? I use to be a big fan of http://lockergnome.com (his site). Oh well.
