Well done Vincent! Looking great, buddy! Just got a chance to finally read this. What you have done so far is nothing short of amazing. May I ask -- once you lost over a 100 pounds, did your skin adapt with the weight loss? I know some people who lose extreme amounts of weight have to get surgery to remove the excess skin. I hope this question is not too personal. It really is about believing in yourself. It's too easy to doubt oneself or fall into a pool of negativity and/or depression. How has the response been with your family and friends? They must be ecstatic. I'm sure you've already had some old acquaintances who came across you and didn't even recognize you at first! Finally, how did you and continue to keep yourself motivated? Statistically, people who lose weight tend to gain it back again, and sometimes even more than their original weight. It's very common for humans to start on a project and then suddenly (sometimes without even consciously noticing) to seep back into the old ways of things. Have you caught yourself ever? Keep up the great work and keep us updated.

Likewise, PS3 is an amazing console once you hack it ... Why do I get the feeling it will take more than a decade to hack the PS4? I also hope most of the PS4 games for the first few years also come out on the PS3. It would suck if it weren't the case. Read my gripes about the PS4 and 720 here.

Hello everyone! It's been a week since 1Emulation was last online. Let's just say we just came back from the upgrade from hell! Miskie and I spent the entire week working with Invision Board Tech Support while optimizing and cleaning up our 11 year old database (remember, 1Emulation started in 2002!) for upgrade. I'm very excited and pleased to say we are back online and better than ever! Unfortunately, we have good news and bad news. Let's start with the good news... The good news is we're back online! The database has been optimized considerably and we removed over 70MB of old crap that was lingering around. We also successfully installed a new downloads section and are in the process of re-installing the forum attack system. Over the next few weeks, we'll be fully activating the downloads section for public consumption with hundreds of the latest emulators and plugins ready for our community! The bad news is we found evidence that our forums were hacked several times over the course of about 3 years. We usually keep up with patches, but I guess we weren't fast enough. Though we found no proof that our database was stolen, we want to strongly suggest to all our members to PLEASE CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS! This is extremely important. Part of the reason why were offline for so long is we had to meticulously remove the infections from the database that were dropped from SQL injection attacks, as well as deleting various files that were dropped on the server to re-infect the database. I'm happy to say it should all be gone now. Finally, we also lost some private messages, status messages, forum notifications, and various settings on the forums that were made between November 2012 and March 31st, 2013. Unfortunately, these were unrecoverable. We apologize to our members if they lost anything important. Over the course of the next few days, we'll be adding a brand new design for 1Emulation v6.0, as well as some more improvements. We also have installed a new backend system to control and limit the spammers who register on the forums.

Just noticed this thread. Honestly, this is nothing new. It's marketing 101 and it's what got Sketchers sued to hell with their bullshit "Shape Ups" that we're supposed to give you six-pack abs. It's very prominent with electronics. A good example would be digital cameras and seeing the "Full HD" sticker on it. Really? Full HD is a minimum of a 2-mega pixel camera which we've had for over 10 years now.

Indeed. Walking around horny is a nightmare. Hmm.... men are watching porn because it's harder to get a real woman? OR men can't get real women and therefore watch porn? It's a question that can't be answered unless a cause and effect study is done. Congrats on sleeping with the 18-year old hottie .... did the pops find out? Deaf girl? Where and how did you find her? I like my web old school, forums, and what not. Logging in to every form of website known to man and tapping out bollocks over and over again.................. Oh wow, I remember neocream very well. Had no idea it still existed! Many traffic accidents today are happening from texting and driving. I see it all the time when I'm on the road and that people have their phones literally sitting on their laps. There needs to be a national world holiday that we turn all electronics off and are forced to go outside and meet people. Forums > Facebook? I totally agree. The main reason? The power of using a username over your real name. Less consequences and more freedom to say what you truly believe.

I just realized... Bambi is the only female currently on 1emulation. It's like we got the Princess or Queen of the emulation scene among us. Now don't put her on a pedestal, but men, be grateful! BTW, Bambi -- is it possible we can see another pose in the near future?

Which is the most fucked up thing ever. This should be illegal that people who already have bought the physical copy of the game will have to purchase the digital copy to play it on their new system. And companies wonder why piracy is such a rampant problem....

Part I of my thoughts on Porno is here. I'm not sure if I ever imagined a day that so much porn would be widely accessible and easy to find, watch, and attain for free. In many ways, I feel like it's helped a lot of people -- especially men -- as it is almost equivalent to a vibrator for a man. In a sense, it simply furthers the male orgasm. However, for many of my friends, I have found it's almost a daily/weekly ritual for them to watch at least a few hours of porn a week. The problem I have with porn is that it works on a progression system. Most heterosexual men will simply just get off the vaginal licking at first. But soon enough, they'll further it by watching vaginal penetration. And then once that gets old, some will move on to anal penetration (of the woman). And finally, they then enter this entirely new atmosphere of porn that racks up intensity (s&m, orgies, bodily fluid craziness, etc.). The human brain is designed to get bored of things quickly, so IMO -- this is a natural process, but also a very destructive process. The more insensitive the man becomes to various types of porn, the more I worry it will seep into their real relationships and what they will need to get off from their partners. How long will he even be able to last? The other MAJOR problem I see with porn is that it's created a whole new generation of men who are SATISFIED with porn and not going out and finding real physical women. This fosters more men who IMO will be introverted, stay-at-home basement men on a Friday night, who have no idea how to talk or properly interact with a woman. What you have is the DEATH of the ALPHA Male and a surge of BETA Males masturbating to the remaining ALPHA's fucking the women. I won't lie. I watch porno. Sure I get off on it like the rest of the men on this planet, but I hate it -- for the residual images it leaves in my mind and it's effects. No, I don't watch crazy porn and probably will get off just fine with the "basic" stuff. But I do know what will happen if I become an addict, which many men (would love to know the numbers one day!!) I'm almost certain have become. Porno should be an absolute last resort for a man as a method of release. Instead, they should use their hunger for sex as motivation to go outside and meet a real woman.
