There is now a new Nintendo DS emulator in the works that has even surpassed DSEmu. The coder is FireFly, one of the first to also emulate the GBA. It already has Double GPU cores which the DSEmu only has 1 at the moment. Also known to have which DSEmu doesn't is 3D, touchscreen, high-level ARM7, and ARM9 system coprocessor. After visiting Zophar for the news and MAME.Net for more information, it appears, that David Foley (Owner of Ultracade) has attempted to trademark MAME. He has even threatened MAMEDev and people on eBay that mention MAME as well. This same tactic has been known to be tried before with Linux with no avail. Welcome back buddy. To get any idea who TapeWurm was... the best comparison I can give is an early GryphonKlaw at the beginning of EmulForums (1Emulation) for the people who don't know him. Most of his posts were lost including everyone elses during a complete post deletion credits to Eugen Popovici back in the day. But now, it's the year 2005..and that was in 2002. It's amazing how fast time has passed.

I highly doubt the GBA will last any longer. Just like any new successor as the GameBoy and the GameBoy Advance. The Gameboy basically died with only 1-10 games to release during the advance era and were all crappy games. It's time to look forward which is the DS. And quite honestly, I'd start looking at the PSP since the DS has no good games out right now. Unless you want to be playing Mario DS all the time, forget the DS as well until the summer.
