Well finally our server is fixed. Things should be working perfectly now. Luckily they didn't have to reinstall the software, they found a good work around and fixed it. Took me lots of patience, but hey it's worth it. Alrighty be ready for some new skins here and some fixes in the board from the phpBB conversion. Also I hope to add some more stuff. And also some good postings will be coming from me and others will be filling this place up also, SO POST TOOO!!!

Yeah same here, can't wait. Those games will also be the new benchmark for graphics cards. So we will see how my GeForce FX 5200 can live up to it or not.

For the people who have the same problems, plz change your skin to Invision Power Board. Also users and mods can now edit their own posts, it was a little permission option that I forgot to set.

Daun, Daun, DA!! Hey Emsley, long time no speak hehe. Well not that many people are here today because we are doing a reinstallation thing for our server. Hopefuly if its successful I can start boosting this place up again. Also once I do that, this place should be pumping up posts again. Right now people are on the LAZY mood. PS: Some new things, we finally got Eugen Popovici out of the way of the scene, we converted from phpBB to Invision Board, and some other cool things. I'll give you the inside scoop after we fix the server.

I updated this post and also once we reinstall the software, I will be completely revamping this place. I also will be making some good topics and will be adding more emoticons. Also another short announcement, I added all of the of the old emoticons or smilies we had before with phpBB. I will be fixing it in all the old topics as well soon.

If your using NIS: Norton Internet Security or Norton Anti-Virus 2003, this can be causing the problem. Just clear out all of your Norton Protected Files and look at all your new free space.

I can see how you can hate this, this there is a ton more features that is hard to understand. I also had problems from the beginning also. The thing is that phpBB was not only simple on the outside but the inside as well. I had no real options in the admin panel, and there was no security. Not only that, I later on found out the amount of exploits and problems with phpBB. I really didn't want to risk it.

Well sorry for the lack of updates after the conversion. I have been very busy and its hard to squeeze just a little bit of time sometimes. Anyways we have been having some server problems. A part of our server is corrupt and so we need to fix it soon. We will be reinstalling the software in our server tomorrow or Sunday. If our website is down, that means that the reinstallation deleted all our user files and stuff for our own administration to our server. If this happens then we will automatically restore the entire website ASAP. Some other things, Admin's please backup up the forum as much as possible. I would also like to mention to the moderators that there will be some of you graduating to Admin also. I'm still working on fixing the smilies and the reviews again which I will soon. I also want to add some skins and a RPG mod... so keep checking back, and POST PEOPLE!!!

Well first off we had vBulletin, then we converted to phpBB and then we converted to Invision Board! So for the people who were here and for the others who have used all 3 of these forums, which one do you think is better? In my opinion, Invision Board, by far is the best. It has everything and more, plus I don't have to install as many addons anymore when I did with phpBB which took all my time. In vBulletin too many of the options were hard to find and the entire system was confusing to me and was missing a lot of good stuff. So post here your coments.

Well I finally just decided to switch to Invision Board. But this time I went in style. Now with a vBulletin skin, it completely revamps the same old Invision Board template. We also now have the long requested "Quick Reply" feature (just click on the button Fast Reply on the bottom of a thread and a window will instantly open) and also moderators get their own Mod CP finally. Invision Board also includes post icons and much more advanced features. Also we are now immune to the latest bugs effecting phpBB. Post Icons is another new feature added to our board.. along with Topic Descriptions. I hope you enjoy v2.0 of 1Emulation.com! NOTE: If you registered with the forum we had before, you can still login to this forum and all of your settings will still be there! PS: We already know that some smilies are not working. Lastly some of the bbcodes that we had with phpBB were removed because of security exploits it could envolve.

Cord.. cordless is terrible, especially on wireless networks. I lose my connection 10x more then i did with 56k so its bad. So anyone thinking of networking.. stay with the cord and not cordless.
