  1. I was actually playing the game with a few friends. We all agreed that it was causing us significant boredom beyond belief. I hope I don't burst anyone's bubble with my thoughts on this game.
  2. Why do you find Winter depressing? Many of the best times I've had in my life have been in the Winter. Who can also forget of the wonderful holiday season? Oh and, Winter + Women = Priceless. P.S. I fixed your vote to Summer.
  3. I don't think this product needs you to push the brake. Do some research.
  4. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the Summer. Sometimes, it gets too hot, and I'm always sweating like a maniac. I got to turn on the mini fan, air conditioning, and my electric bill jumps. I always feel sticky and itchy if I don't take a shower after a day. You can add smelly to that as well too. The Summer is great if you're going to the beach everyday or enjoy surfing. Other than that, it's a hassle. You got to wear sunscreen and you go to put the air conditioner on max while driving too. The Winter is nice because you can control it a lot easier. If you're cold, you grab a blanket, turn on the fire place, or indoor/outdoor heater. You don't have to worry about electronics overheating. It's also easier to breathe if you have allergies. Honestly, I don't see how anyone can hate the Winter. Sure it may rain or snow some days, but overall, I find more beauty in the Winter.
  5. TBH, I played the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance and I thought the game was garbage. The game play reminded me of the old SNES days (i.e. Captain America and the Avengers). It got boring quick. I also did not like the "over the head" display used in the game. I only went through about 2 or 3 levels in the game before I decided to return it. Perhaps #2 will change my mind.
  6. GamePro has devised a list of what they believe to be the TOP 36 Playstation 2 games! Do you agree with their list? --> Read the article and their comments for each game on their list. I'd say God of War II doesn't belong in the #1 spot and is probably only there because it's a recent game. At the same time, I haven't really played any of these games, so I'd be the wrong person to comment on this one. I'd like to know your thoughts on their list though.
  7. Wow, hopefully this rumor will come true! I can really see the sales of XBOX 360's increasing if the online play is free, as it is for the Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3. They can use XBOX Live Gold for the rest of the stuff they offer that is more than online play (although I don't really know what that is, since I don't have XBOX Live). With the 360 lacking built in Wi-Fi and their Wi-Fi cards being a $100 a piece, this will definitely cut the price tag of online features for many people.
  8. Here are some examples of box arts for some games: (Left: Japanese | Right: American) Source (and for all picture comparisons): http://www.gamesradar.com/f/why-japanese-b...729123833874037 My vote goes to the American box arts. The Japanese box arts try to get to the point, but fail (IMO), while using similar artistic Japanese styles. At least I think, the American box arts seem to convey the image of the game more clearly.
  9. In other news, Datel has released their homebrew flashcart (NDS Max Media Launcher) that's like an R4, but doesn't run commercial games. Anyway, it's completely legal, and I wouldn't be surprised if you saw it at Best Buy already. You'll need their Max Media Dock as well though to store the files. Or you can just buy their "Games 'n' Music" device that has it all.
  10. Seems like your questions and answers are primarily Warez related. Here's an idea ... purchase a computer with Windows XP pre-installed. Better yet, purchase Windows XP. Thread Closed.
  11. Say it isn't so, but the game has been canned by Activision. Hell, I thought the game was almost complete. It's truly a shame they decided not to complete the project. Source: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/acti...ostbusters-game Check out a YouTube video of the game:
  12. What do you guys think? The fighting engine looks pretty damn amazing. If it looks as good as it should be, this should definitely be a game worth buying.
  13. That was by far the worst Marvel Movie out to date. My Vote for the best would be the Punisher The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man were both great recent films from Marvel.
  14. Was this review made in the year 2006? It seems a bit ironic since it falls on the same day of 2008.
  15. I guess they got tired after stealing the loot!
  16. Yep, I was expecting Harvey to get his face burnt off in the courtoom, like in Batman Forever. Oh well.
  17. I saw it yesterday. The film was amazingly good and I recommend everyone to go see it. I do not think it was the best Batman film, but I know many will say it is. I thought the movie was a bit too long and many scenes felt like they were cut short. Now for the analysis with spoilers:
  18. Well, do call to make sure. It'll probably be cheaper to pay for the repair without warranty than to buy a new Wii.
  19. Why are you deliberately advertising PDRoms here? I'm good friends with Kojote (owner of PDRoms) and even he would probably agree this is too much.

  22. That's true. But couldn't they make a homebrew app that loaded the PS2 in PS1 mode to play backups off HD? If both the Wii and PS2 can emulate its predecessors perfectly, then it definitely has components from either of the older consoles (GameCube and PS1). No, access to the PS1 hardware doesn't exist in PS2 mode. The PS2 doesn't even know the PS1 hardware exists. To put it another way, it's the same as the DS. In GBA mode, the DS slot, ARM9 etc doesn't exist.....period. I understand that. But I said, what if you loaded a homebrew app into PS1 mode, so you can utilize the PS1 hardware to play backups off HD?
