you guys still virgins? how did you lose it?
Alpha replied to SuperSoaka420's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
same here. except that i am 19 I've gotten a few kisses on the cheek, but that's pretty much it. just recently got a kiss on the cheek by a guy. he also grabbed my ass and I'm a taller-than-average nerdy european kid. the saddest part is that in the university, especially in my faculty, girls outnumber guys 4:1 and STILL no luck. "What the evil bump!" - Agozer You should really look at the dates of the last posts in threads. This one is over 3 months old. I say let's keep the topic open this week if anyone else wants to add to this thread. -
So here's my question for you folks who have played DDR and Guitar Hero. Which one did you enjoy playing more? I haven't played either of them and I feel like divulging myself into one of them. From the videos and people I've seen play both games, they seem to be the same type of games. The objective is to copy the arrows or buttons on the screen and press them somehow physically. Hands (Guitar Hero) vs. Feet (DDR)! So which games did you like more? Guitar Hero or DDR? Vote in the poll with some comments please. Thanks.

Wow! Well then, that would explain it.

I got the plans from http://www.jakobud.com I wanted easier access to the computer parts so I went without the standard case. All the components are secured and are in no danger of becoming loose or moving around inside. The MK3 cab is the only one I built from scratch. The Arkanoid I restored (Here is a link to a video of that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pAtWEAzOM8 , the MK2 I did a factory restoration on, and the Star Wars Trilogy I got from a Dave And Busters that went out of business in Kansas City. After all was said and done, I spent $3000 building the MK3 mame, $1500 restoring the MK2, $2000 on the Star Wars Trilogy, and $1000 restoring the Arkanoid. Yes, it is a LOT of money, but I have it to spend and I take pride in the end result and the overall look of the machines. Thanks for your kind words. Wow, that is indeed a lot of money. You must have a stable income job to even have the space to house all those arcade cabinets. The only place an average person can put an arcade cabinet is the garage or living room. Living room is usually not a great option because it doesn't blend well with the house. And the garage isn't exactly a good environment because of outside weather coming in. Anyway, I'm glad you're happy. Perhaps, I'll have to wait until I win the lottery to have a cab of my own, but it surely is something I want to do in the near future. Also, did you have any form of background in electronics before you built the cab? I'm sure some sort of knowledge in those areas were needed to connect everything correctly. Who can forget woodworking?

Thank you for posting these videos here! You seem to have a very big gaming libary as well. It's always great to see fellow gamers show us what they have made in their free time. Your cabinet looks excellent! I also enjoyed how you put the classic MK music at the log off screen of XP. Did you purchase plans to build the cabinet or did you design it yourself? Do you have any fans inside the machine to blow any heat out? Also, why didn't you just put an actual computer within a case inside your arcade cab, instead of having the parts bare inside? You seem to have more than 1 arcade cabinet, how many do you have total? And did you make them all? Lastly, how much did it cost you in all to build the MK2 cabinet?

Sometimes we have our slow weeks. Jitway contributed a lot of new and interesting threads this week, but most people didn't bother replying in them. If I could, I would incorporate a seeder/leecher system on message boards. If you read a thread, you have to give an appropriate response. Not just read a thread and leave. But that would also kill the "lax" environment of forums in general and would hinder responses considerably. It's also partly my fault because I haven't replied to any of Jitway's threads yet. Let's just say I've been quite busy these days too. Also, if the forums are ever slow, I *highly* recommend you come in our IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel. Nowadays we're talking everyday in there and you can find our staff there if you have any questions about something in particular. »» Join IRC

It's great reading these stories. Our first break happened when we were indexed on Google for all the latest neogeo rom releases. If you typed in "svc chaos rom", "kof2003 rom", etc. This site would always seem to pop up first! I have no idea why to this day, but it was just luck of the draw, and we were the main guys covering the last neogeo game releases. If that never miraculously happened, we never would have even got Gryph. A huge beginning batch of forum members came just from those days.

I just found this game today. I'm not sure if there was a Wrestle Kingdom 1 released for PS2, but there certainly was a Wrestle Kingdom 2 released. It seems like a Japanese wrestling game made by Yukes. It looks very fun, but I can't find much information about it. Has anyone played it or can tell me something about it? Is the game play better than WWE games? Thanks.

Everyone has been talking about how they successfully shot down the Spy Satellite. The video was released today, as shown in the YouTube video above. However, no one has begged the question how it was filmed? Does anyone know?

As I said on IRC, you're quite a handsome fella. I think you could have easily asked that waitress out. She must have had a remote interest to post a picture with you. And might I add, if that is what all Australian women look like, I'll be the first one there! BK and Robert got it good.

Source: http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2008/02/2...as-on-the-snes/ If this is not the coolest video you've seen today, I don't know what to say. Whoever made this video is not only gifted, but almost identically copied Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii in the best 2D conversion ever. If only this game was real! Maybe someone on a future rom hacking site will figure out how to do it?
-
Goodness gracious! That is a depressing way of looking at it.

What are you talking about? By the way, welcome back! I haven't seen you in awhile.

Tell us something we never knew about yourself!

I don't care about Fatal Rose's marital status. I just find serious relationships being fully connected with marriage, so that's why I put that there. But you're right and that I have pestered you and a few others in the past about marital status, but it's *usually* because I forget the day after what the response was. If that's not the reason, then I'm simply trying to find more about you, just so I can have better conversations in the future with you. It's just my way of getting to know you better, so I apologize if it was invasive. Some will also say it's not fair to ask personal questions of others, when I hardly share any personal information about myself. However, you have to think from the perspective of a site owner, and why I must know my staff and community as best as I possibly can. I hope you all understand. p.s. Wow, I've been apologizing a lot these days on 1Emulation. Well, that's life I guess. -

It sounds like you've been slowing down with your sexual adventures. This may not be something you want to read, but I strongly believe that the key to finding the right woman is to first have a door for her to open. That door in my opinion is having a stable job, source of income, and a plan for the rest of your life. No woman wants a serious relationship with a man who they seem as "marriage material" unless the man has something to offer in return. Sure there are instances where this may not be the case, but I find them to be very rare. Just trying to help you out. You act as if I am unaware of this. I was vague as hell with my post, there was no reason to assume anything GC. All I did was post that am a romantic at heart and have yet to meet a women that measures up to my standards. You do not know what is going on in my life really and you have no idea whether or not I have trouble maintaining a relationship. Woah, I never said anything about you maintaining a relationship. You definitely don't have a problem there. I'm just talking about forming serious relationships for marriage in general because that's what I find necessary for true romance. I only assumed your current high need for romance being the result of your sexual activity slowing down. However, I may have misunderstood, as this doesn't sound like a recent thing that you suddenly want. Sorry if I burst your bubble, not my intention. -
Are you the owner of userbars.com? If so, that's quite a popular website.

You can reply to what others have said. However, the whole point is to participate by answering the thread title. -
Just what the topic says, "Tell us something we never knew about yourself!" On 1Emulation .... I secretly edit posts on 1Emulation for spelling errors and grammatical mistakes, while keeping the original poster's message in-tact. Nowadays, it's so easy with quick edit too. I feel that it helps makes things more legible for others, so why not? And a little personal thing ... I'm an avid participant of lifting weights and getting into good physical shape. Therefore, I'm a frequent gym member and I try to get as much physical activity as possible. I also love to watch Tennis and I am a big Maria Sharapova fan. Not only is it beautiful to watch her play, but her games are almost always exciting to watch. Your turn.

I wish I could talk to him on MSN and maybe bring him back on IRC and/or 1Emu. It's a shame we didn't get along in the beginning. Tell him I said "Hello" and that I'm sorry for any of our previous confrontations in the past. Besides that .... How was the radio show?

Intel Rolls Out Double-Quad-Core Platform For Gamers
Alpha replied to Jitway's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
You can think of it as P5s. Soley because it seems like after Pentium D (the small line after 4) came this series. Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad. Not that hard because if P5s were out, it would be the exact same thing, P5 Double Core and P5 Quad Core. How about Double Core = P5 and Quad Core = P6 and Double Quad Core = P7? At least it makes it better to understand by increasing numbers -> increasing performance. -
What fwnitro anyway? Never even heard of it.

Where is the Pentium 5 dammit? Enough of this quadruple double triple core mumbo jumbo. Let's make it a little easier please.
