I'm glad that's the case and that Microsoft only bans the console itself. As for the "gay ass drive" that needs a chip to unlock it, are you talking about the Hitachi-LG/Toshiba-Samsung drive? If so, nowadays, the BenQ drive is the most common and flashable with no soldering, etc. needed. All you have to have is a compatible motherboard on your computer, sata cable, and some other little stuff to connect the drive with. Take a look at: http://www.360drives.com/list ... you can see there is a overwhelming amount of people reporting a BenQ drive with their new Falcon 360. EDIT: Can anyone confirm this? I've never read that was possible before. Not that I'd want to pirate the games, but I thought they were encoded like Wii Virtual Console games, which I have bought quite a few.

Very nice picture! How recent was the photo taken? Seems like someone took it from their cellphone. Nevertheless, looks good.

I never understood the concept of achievement points. Are there prizes or something for the more points you have? How does it work?

What are the games?

I've never personally played on XBOX Live. I never even tried it when I owned a regular XBOX. However, now that I see they are selling games, movies, etc. on XBOX Live, it got me thinking that it may not be all that bad. Most of all, I really want to try it out to see what all the hype is about. I'm also interested in purchasing and/or playing SF2Remix, which will soon be released. However, I have a dilemma. If I do buy an XBOX 360 again, I want to flash it with the latest custom firmware so I can play my backup games. However, if I do firmware flash it, I could potentially get my XBOX 360 console and my IP address banned on Microsoft's servers if I decide to pay for and go on XBOX Live. This I surely do not want to happen. Now I know there are many work arounds that will allow you to go on Live without any problems if your firmware is flashed. However, no one knows for sure when these loop holes will be banned too. There is no way of knowing how much Microsoft can see when you login via XBOX Live with a firmware flashed XBOX 360 console. The last dilemma I have (although unrelated to the actual topic) are future XBOX 360 upgrades. Do you believe Microsoft would ever create a dashboard update that would render your custom firmware useless? So the biggest question for me is.... is it better to be able to play backup games or have the ability to enjoy and use XBOX Live? P.S. Please don't suggest for me to buy a second 360 for XBOX Live. I don't have the money to do something like that.

Don't forget to read: 5 signs a man is into a woman. I'd have to agree with most of the stuff said on here. It seems pretty legitimate. For example, the pupils dilating and the rosy cheeks would explain her heart beating faster for you. Twirling hair would be a sign of nervousness and that she's just excited as you are to get bonded. Anyway, I'd write this stuff down if none of you have heard these tips before. It's a good list to follow if you think the girl is attracted to your or not. Of course, it's no where near a 100%, but it's at least something to look for.

It's actually a very old rumour based on a quote taken out of context from some MS rep at the time of the HD-DVD player add-on's release. It went like "we're not taking sides... if Blu-Ray wins we may end up making a BD-ROM add-on too." It was flat out denied by Microsoft ages ago. Actually, this *new* rumor came out yesterday. I'll never buy a Blu-Ray dvd/player. I really don't give a damn about seeing a few extra trees and bushes in the background of some action scene. DVD and VHS have and will always be sufficient. Unfortunately, humans will remain sheep and waste their money on anything that is "top of the line". I'm not happy that Sony won the wars, but I guess we're going to have to just deal with it. Hell, there has recently been rumors and speculation now that Microsoft will be making a Blu-ray add on for the 360.

you're money sounds so funny. Maybe it was just me, but I thought he said squid.

I found this product on the Code Junkies (maker of the Action Replay) website that suppositely works for the GameCube and Nintendo Wii. Does anyone have any confirmation if this product works or not? Can you run GCOS, and other homebrew etc. on both the GameCube and Wii? This would save people a lot of time from buying the SD Gecko and finding an old gamecube action replay. Link: http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/GameCub...__EF000581.aspx and http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/GCN-SD-...__EF000206.aspx EDIT: I read that Nintendo blocked SD Media Launcher from working for the Wii via firmware upgrades. But I also read that CodeJunkies updated their product so it now works with the latest Wii firmwares. Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

Well, since you have a slim ps2... either buy a modchip or purchase the Swap Magic. Eitherwise, I'd return it and buy a fat ps2. Then search for the "Indepence Exploit".

Here's the last picture I'll be posting of myself. It's from about a decade ago with Marilyn Monroe. And that's the end of it.

I'm not sure if the price of the product would make a substantial difference. If it did, people wouldn't be pirating movies as well. Most movies nowadays you can buy for less than $20, and the classics can be as cheap as $5. However, people still download the movies and new releases. Hell, people download TV shows, which they basically can watch for free (depending on what kind of television provider he or she has). So I don't think it's about the price of the product at all. The problem is that people are greedy and they spoil themselves. For example, people who decide to download "full rom sets" will never be able to enjoy each and every game to its full potential. Sure, some games may be pure garbage, but even the greater games don't get the appreciation they deserve. Ever remember the years when you'd pay so much for a game and you'd play the game until the very end and make sure you got your money's worth? All those good times? Tell me how many memories you have playing games you downloaded. Probably a lot less. Most people who are "stuck" on a particular game they downloaded would rather download another game than waste their time any further. But people forget that what makes a game great is beating the obstacle, hence the memories. The same goes for music. People download hundreds and thousands of songs, until they're tired of all of them. There's a reason why sex can't truly last all night long. It's so you can keep coming back for more and more.

Nintendo Wii officially HACKED without modchip!
Alpha replied to Alpha's topic in Hacking and Homebrew News [/hax]
Thank you Robert. I completely missed it, so I'm glad you caught it. Yeah, that's the biggest question ... if and when Nintendo will patch it. We'll just have to wait and find out. -
It's official folks. The proof of the recently announced "Twilight Princess" game hack is now available. All you need is an SD Card. After that, transfer the exploit on the SD card, and boot the save the game using The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. After walking Link (the game character) a few steps after you loaded the save game, the screen will go black, and the proof of concept will appear before your eyes! Helloooooo World! The only problem with this hack is that it can possibly be patched by Nintendo through firmware upgrades. However, no one is entirely sure if Nintendo could patch it because the exploit could be exclusive to the game disc. "Team Twiizers", who are the author of this "Twilight Princess" hack, end their YouTube video with a message that there will soon be ELF Loaders (to load homebrew apps) and much more available. I had a really really bad hangover this mourning
Alpha replied to Fatal Rose's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I was wondering where you've been! I was looking for you yesterday, so we could do another podcast test. Anyway, we'll try again next weekend. I hope everything will be fixed soon. -
Happy new year! May this year of the RAT be the greatest year of them all.

I see you're also from Australia. Aussies love 1Emu. And I do remember you.... just your username really. Reminded me of James Bond when I first saw it. I wonder why?

Gryph is being sarcastic with you guys. I don't even think such a downgrade is possible, without ripping the SQL database (forums) to shreds. Anyway, we hope to upgrade soon. Currently, we're running the latest stable release of the 2.1.x series, but it's time we've jumped ship. I hope to get it all done very soon. The only problem is that I have to upgrade all added modules to the forum as well, which is a pain in the ass. I also need to find a new design for the forums, which is even a bigger problem. However, it'll happen soon. I promise.

I wish you could give us a few more details. Perhaps, you could start with telling us why you decided to get drunk? Were you at a party, maybe rubbing your body against a woman's booty? Or were you shaking it at the local downtown bar? Details.... details... details... it brings life to a thread. -
Seeing as the game is released now in Japan.... First Impressions: Super Smash Brother Brawl
