Bleh, I just recently got this 19'' TV for gaming. The Super Nintendo I owned burned out my 27'' Sony WEGA in 1994. I'm hoping to eventually upgrade the 19'' to something better. Don't ask what I was using from '94 to now. WHOA, how in the world did SNES do that?? SNES was always great to me If you read the fine print in the Nintendo manuals for SNES and N64, it warns that can happen. It also suggests to use the smallest TV possible to prevent it from happening.

1.75/hr raise... didn't you just get a raise not too long ago? So may I ask how much $/hr that totals to? What exactly is your job? Nice couch! I like the built-in-storage. That's always a great feature to have, especially in beds as well. I will say though, I'm a huge fan of couches with built in reclining options.

Nothing really new on my side. Still working as hard as ever. I'm just too goddamn lazy and need to do these product reviews before I lose my legitimacy. I've been keeping my eyes on a lot of political issues as of late. The world seems more and more like a ticking time bomb. There is just too much disagreement and ignorance for there to be any agreements. I've been coming in and out of the IRC channel seeing the usual goonies (Reaperman, Disoblige, Mooney, Plot, SiN, Lord_Snow, etc.) I don't know why Robert isn't there anymore. I've also been working on my XBOX, and playing the Wii during my spare time. I don't have a 360 anymore because I just wasn't too impressed with the titles. I haven't been an FPS fan since Goldeneye 007 for N64. It's a shame there hasn't been anything like it for the past decade. It just goes to show how "innovative" the gaming scene has been. I'm also still pissed how time flies so fast on my end. I was looking at the EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) magazine section where it shows the cover of EGM from 10 years ago. I look at the cover (ex: "Mortal Kombat 4 coming soon") and have to force myself to believe it was 10 years ago, and not yesterday. Other than that, I'm still living, breathing, and trying to make the world work better around me, rather than against me.

GP2X emulates the SNES better than the PSP? I don't think so... NOT EVEN CLOSE! From my tests, the PSP can emulate the SNES around 20-45FPS .... the GP2X can only emulate the SNES around 5-35FPS. Video of emulating SNES on GP2X:

Unfortunately, since the media has been so busy with O.J. Simpson getting arrested, they've been missing all the more important news stories. John Kerry should have stopped the kid from getting apprehended. All he had to do was shout, "Let the kid go". He just pussied out and silently said, "I'll answer his question". Most of all, I am even more pissed at the audience who just sat there looking. They didn't even move their ass for a second to help the guy. Even if the kid was acting like an ass, his question (or whatever he was able to say) was legitimate. Most people in the audience looked old enough to not be shocked by the word "blow job". Please don't pretend you haven't heard it before. Lastly, the only thing I didn't understand is why the audience started clapping once the police wanted to arrest him. I don't understand that reaction at all. Rant over.

Awww damn. I was planning to download these games this week. Are these gaming companies seriously stupid? That's why Abandonware has been running rampant because these companies still think they can make some money on these games that haven't sold a copy in years.

Loading screen for 5 minutes? Your computer sucks It was a 486 DX2. That's about 50mhz ... I don't remember the amount of ram. I couldn't even run Duke Nukem 3D on it, but I could run Doom I and Doom II without a hitch.

Yikes, sorry to read about that. What's the make of your hard drive? Seagate, Maxtor, Western Digital?

Let's see... Windows 95. The best thing I remember from the operating system was staring at the loading screen for 5 minutes everyday. Oh, the good old days!

People have been talking about that site for more almost 2 weeks now and most believe its absolute bullshit. I saw a few of the posts from the members of that team on the MaxConsole forums -- they were getting a lot of heat. Just because a site has some text and a fancy logo doesn't make it legit be quick.

Congratulations.. now that you're a premium member, I hope you enjoy the SPAM forum! As for the forum censorship, it's not about being "nazi"-like. The whole point is to build a community that doesn't have to express their frustration with inappropriate words. I can understand people having difficulty with this because some of these words are part of their vocabulary. For me, it's not, and for you, it shouldn't be. By having these words filtered out, it makes you think twice before using a cuss word and it allows you to think of another word that best suits the sentence. In the long run, you will realize that by using proper language and etiquette while speaking, typing, or writing ... it'll help you achieve higher success and respect.

Of course, eventually we all need our space. But there's a difference when you prefer to be left alone and when you could be socializing with a group of buddies or ladies. The only true space I prefer to be left alone is the bathroom.

That's exactly what I'm talking about and you're the perfect representation of that. But what I don't get is why you want to be left alone? Most guys who feel lonely are desperate to remove that label from themselves.
