  1. AHKKKKK!!!! GOOD LORD .... I DON'T WANT AN APPLE PIE WITH THAT!
  2. First off, contrary to what Rag mentioned, there's nothing wrong with posting this on the forums. Sure, you may overthink it, but that's not always bad if you're inexperienced. I'd recommend you approach the girl before class. If you talk to her after class then she'd be more reluctant to talk. Begin speaking to her about the teacher and the subject itself -- then start asking her questions about how much she studies for the class -- ask her if she listens to music while studying and say that you do listen to music when studying (pick some genre) -- then ask her what music she listens to herself -- ask her if she plays any sports --- and start talking.
  3. Yeah that really helps, especially if it's a sensitive girl.
  4. Please describe her to me in full detail. Is she a social person? What does she look like? Is she in the same grade as you are? Have you talked to her at all previously? And is there any form of break time that you could walk up to her besides before or after the class? Give me as much information as possible.

  6. I'd actually love to see that if its handy. I like watching pain. Was after seeing Bloodsport for the first time at 5 or so, and seeing that guy's shin stick out that I realised I wasn't as squeamish as the other kids. Here's the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=k1GjYv6tbgQ (be over 13 if you're going to see this)
  7. Yep.. as a matter of fact... it was a very serious injury ...

  9. Many of them broke their necks or were paralyzed in the process. The dumbest ones are the backyard wrestling clips.

  11. QFTFT What the hell does that mean?
  12. John Stossel from 20/20 asks .... Is Wrestling Fake? Who's the guy who hit John Stossel? That's "Dr." David Schultz!
  13. My friends are included when you refer to my parents? Creepy. My parents (not including my friends) were against the idea at first, my dad especially. Even though they were against it though, they weren't going to stop me, and weren't appalled or anything after I went through with it. They've been supportive of just about everything I've tried to squeeze money out of since. My mom supporting everything, and my dad constantly bugging me about going to school and/or getting a job. It really is amazing how many plans can fail in a few years, though, sheesh. When my friends found out, I think they suddenly saw it as an option for themselves. In the end all of them graduated and went to college, but they complain about it, and see things the same way I do for the most part. One of my friends, probably the smartest schoolwise, doesn't even know what he's going for right now. He's only there because he felt pressured by his older and much more traditional parents. One friend that I met after the fact dropped out of school himself. He's currently employed at...uh...someplace just typing stuff. It seemed like a good idea for a job from where I stood, but it's nowhere near here, and I wasn't confident enough that I could live out there on my own. Finding a roommate failed after my friend dropped off the earth for a month or two. I'm really getting sidetracked here though. Also, let it be said that I have yet to regret my actions. Nothing has appeared that would cause me to change my mind about what I did. It was a quick edit to add the friends and family in there... just not at the right spot in the sentence. Besides that, it seems like a pretty common explanation.
  14. This may be a personal question, but as a result of your actions, what do your parents (family and friends included) think of you? Are they ashamed, understood, or what?
  15. That's a great point you brought up Robert. What singers actually do write their songs these days that doesn't include guns, hoes, and drugs? For example, look at this Paul Simon song: Can you find one song made made in the last 5 years that has lyrics so meaningful as above? Nowadays when you utter a song .. it's only the main choros such as "That thong thong thong thong thong thong thong song!" It all has become a load of crap.
  16. The only one I can think of right now is from Shang Tsung saying "IT HAS BEGUN!" before the Mortal Kombat begins. I think I've seen that clip over a hundred times.
  17. Wow, you played with REO? I'd like to know the story. Intrigue us! Well when I was 16 ...btw that is when I met my wife. I was dating this girl that was a neice of Renfro. Well REO was scheduled to play in Indy in about 2 weeks. I was about 4 years into playing guitar at the time. She said she could hook me up with them to play at a tune up or practice as they called it back then. Well I go sick as hell on the night before the concert so I missed the chance or at least I thought so. I attended the concert on the day of it and was asked by the bouncers or security at that time that REO wanted to talk to me. Hell I was only 16 and thought no way but true they talked to me and wanted to come by my parents place at the time next day to talk more. Well my parents hated rock n roll so I though this is not gonna work. I then thought why not my best friends place where we had a many party and he was a fairly good drummer. So me and my best friend at the time ended up jamming with REO for over 2 hours at his parents house all thanks to my girlfriend at the time that dumped me for another. An old story, but definitely an admiring story. Thanks for sharing. So did anything happen after they heard you guys play? Is there a follow up?
  18. How long ago did you drop out of high school? I'd at least recommend getting your GED. It's been a while, but I have a pretty bad sense of time myself, so I don't remember exactly when. Might be for the same reasons as listed in the thread. I got my GED shortly after though. I'd like to think I'm not stupid, so I figured it'd be a quick test and I could be on my way, unlike finishing High School, which would've been at least a year, if not more, of solid work. I was right, too, it was easy crap. Well if you have your GED, then find a major, go to college, and get on with your life. You don't want to be stuck in this limbo forever. The older you get, the harder it will become. Don't ever forget that!
  19. I don't know how you guys can trust these private trackers. Do you truly believe only the select few people who are not law enforcement can join these trackers? If you can, they can too!
  20. So basically you're saying that music DOES suck these days. Am I not correct?
  21. How long ago did you drop out of high school? I'd at least recommend getting your GED.
  22. Not against cocaine? That drug ages the hell out of you. Look at the before and after pictures of Jean Claude Van Damme, Whitney Houston, or any other celebrity for that matter who has inflicted themselves with that garbage.
  23. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of electronic music as well. Especially songs made via Synthesizers in the 80's. However, I don't like these singers who make songs that have not one true instrument in it. Sure, it sounded great in the 80's -- but now we're just overkilling it. Maybe it's the type of electronic music we use these days that I simply don't enjoy listening to. I even went through a techno/dance phase in 2002, but now I just can't stand listening to it anymore. IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME!
  24. Ya they came in after the 2nd letter. The first letter they said since it was not answered they sent a second. It was almost the same as the first. The first just had about 500gb less of files. I had just bought a new external drive about the time of the first letter. And yes the 5000 was for fines or lets just say a settlement. They were seeking over 1000000 in damages. That amount even I could not come up with. As well as 4 years in jail. Been in jail before for 6 months and care not to go back. May I ask what you were in jail for?
  25. As far as keeping grudges ... I simply believe in the phrase of "What goes around comes around". If I notice it doesn't come around, well -- there's always a Plan B, which I hate having to do ............
