Fine tune your system memory: These Settings will fine tune your system's memory management - (At least 256MB of RAM recommended!)(Remember to back up your Registry!): Go to Start>Run. Type in regedit Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management 1.DisablePagingExecutive: Double-click it and change the decimal to a 1. This allows XP to keep data in memory now instead of paging sections of ram to the hard drive. This yields faster performance. 2.LargeSystemCache: Double-click it and change the decimal to a 1. This allows the XP kernel to run in memory. This helps to improve system performance ALOT! 3. Right-click on the right-hand side of the Registry Editor. Create a new dword and name it IOPageLockLimit. Double-click it and set the value in hex to 4000 if you have 128MB of RAM. Set it to 10000 if you have 256MB. Set it to 40000 if you have more than 512MB of RAM. This tweak will speed up your disk cache. Reboot your machine. Notice the difference?

Well it could be one of many basic things. I have ad aware installed and mine runs fine. How many programmes do you have running in the corner of your screen? I dont mena to sound like an sterotype but maybe you should try a disk defregment? Of course is your hard drive nearly full? And how much RAM do you have? Thats the basic stuff all i can think of for now.

I think it would be pretty neat. Request a ROM movie pc iso rip whatever you desire. Strike a deal with the guy/gal go on the hub grant a slot and Bingo! I think it would work pretty well. So even if you lose youre slot or whatever you could just bmp the topic and remind everybody. In a sense garenteeing your download and slot with a formal agreement? ?

There is hope ;} A third party group [well thats what ya call em] Have developed a simple tool for servers only it basecly scans all your MohAA files and anything the server has not deemed fit, will be looked upon as a cheat!!!! Hoooorah!! So it should at least kill of #Ahem# Gay cheating puke sucking Half brained paaaaaricks that are using all the main stream cheats at this moment in time, as soon as a a new cheat is found buy the cheat police [which i am no a m aember of] its added to the server softwares lit. Well after recently getting back into the game [i was rusty but am god again ] The cheates are coming threw the woodwork. The wallhack been the favoured one, and i popped on an offical E A server only to find blatent wall hacks and horribile people who call you NooB because you kill them and there cheat did not work...... I was facing of with this guy, i had a dam sniper rifle and he pressed my postion with grenades so i had to "run away" Anyways i left my own trail of grenades so he would not be on top of me if he knew what was good for him, anyway he sneaked round the back of me beacuse i was waiting, leanig round a corner waiting to snipe his chest out :} I saw him and hit him with a great shot he backed of round the corner, i knew he was nailed, i knew he did not know when i would fly round the corner with my pistol, anyways he "Jumped from the corner" Timing his kill to perfection with the stg45... Another guy came running into a room when i was reloading he started firing on me before he even got in the room an ovbious sign of a wall hack I hate cheats i really do. Cant say i h ave not tried them [wall hck only] But i tell ya something now i know how a a wall hack works i can defently spot someone who is using them. And what have E A done? Nothing.

Indeed. I mean how many people can be downloading? WHtas the use of paying for High speed intermet connections, when the servers of downloads, sites etc cant even keep up with demand?

What do you think of the place? I know a couple of my Games always try and load gamespy up but i think the dam place is a God dam rip of places like that are locking the net up! I mean i joined up to download a patch for counterstrike and all the servers were full [it put me in a cue were i had to wait 30 minutes] Or I could join up for a fee and have instant acess to download the things i want Uncanny eh? Bah!
