I'll spare the lecture on what the PSP and GP2X are. I've had my PSP for more than a year and recently rounded up the latest emulators for everything available and have been trying them with different games, different settings to gauge performance and what not and it got me thinking... Is there an up-to-date article comparing the current state of homebrew emulation on the PSP and the GP2X? If not, is anyone here interested in helping me write a comprehensive one? I have the PSP covered, but don't have a GP2X. Would anyone with that system want to join me in going through the list of systems and deciding which handheld has it better emulated? It would involve getting screenshots and framerates and all that, so won't be a light undertaking. Still I think it would be a good thing to look into. If anyone is interested in working with me on this, let me know.

Pssh, Hentai? Noooo... It was called Cloud Master on the Master System but otherwise Chuka Taisen in the arcades, on the PC-Engine and on the NES. Was a side-scrolling shooter. Actually the second video game I ever played (the first being Alex Kidd in Miracle World).

Yeh well in ^Core when you do that move it will shoot up to max in no time at all. It comes as a pleasant surprise after struggling to charge for ages in Slash.

Here are some shots of me taking out the harder bosses during my vacation to FF1-land; Here we have 'Death Gaze' or Deathguise as I call him (I use the FFIX names tyvm), the guy at the bottom of the optional dungeon Whisperwind Cove. He wasn't too tough, but took a short eternity to bring down. Lifespring Grotto has some even harder bosses though, like Shinryuu. What a killer he was. Another boss from there and arguably the game's hardest is Omega, forefather of the Omega Weapon, at B20. He's got one-hit kills for 999 HP amongst other things but I got him. Finally we have Chaos, the end boss. Not as tough as the others, but he has access to tier-4 magic like Flare, Typhoon and Tidal Wave, making him an annoying SOB when it comes to keeping people alive. Next week I'll show you some snaps of my trip to Netherworld Endelphia and how dark it is there.

I hope they add better boob physics. They'd need to hire Tomonobu Itagaki for that. No way he'd defect to Namco. He's making a killing off games surrounding his 'physics' as it is.

There is actually a hack of the most recent SNES Station that allows reading of roms from HDD, USB (mass) and PC (host) via RadHostClient.

In Australia the list was established in 2002, online registration was opened in 2005 and since last year it has been a federal crime to call a number on the list. The mass hysteria and hate toward telemarketers has only been a big thing in the last couple of years anyway.

Extremely slack to the telemarketer. Assholes who can be f.cked doing that crap should take the 5 minutes to get their names on the 'do not call' register, instead of getting their kicks from messing around some poor guy who is just doing his job. I used to be a telemarketer and it always struck me how witty some pricks on the other end of the line thought they were when being a smartass to me, when if they really had 2 brain cells to rub together, or if they were really so inconvenienced by the thousands and thousands of cold calls, they would get some f.cking initiative and register not to be called. Lazy spineless assholes. The guy in these skits should get a f.cking life.

I hated the Judgment part though- never bothered getting through it to actually see Judgment themselves. I really like those 2 characters too but they're too weak in Slash. It is a lot easier to build up Order Sol's gauge in ^Core using his charging move- you'll be seeing his Lv.3 moves a quite a bit while I hardly ever saw them in Slash (except where the CPU boss spammed the hell out of em).

I might go out on a limb and say you can't in Magic Engine? I've tried before but got nowhere and gave up.

He can, but it is recommended to upgrade to 1.50 first if only because installation of CFWs like 3.40 OE-A is tested on 1.50 only. Also, I recommend using Dark AleX's installer, and not any easy installer, simply because the theoretical risk of bricking is lower. You can get his here. So yeh I say go to 1.50 and use the normal flashing app but its your call.

Not making a comment on its gameplay, SoulCalibur III really screwed up any aesthetic the series had going.. that logo was ugly and cartoony and unfortunately this one is too. And yes, there is a SoulCalibur III port for the PSP whose release date is still TBA.
