Project Mutant Arcades: Mission Statement
BlackKnight replied to ressurectionx's topic in XBOX Hacks [/xbox]
It should be country of origin first, then international, then foreign versions. -
I'll sign up too. Honestly though I was hoping the 'Gamer's Ring' was something I could equip on my Jansen but it's all good.

This art style is all about motion and animation. No screens will really do SFIV justice.

We already had a thread about this movie... Almost identical title I think?

My bad. Hate to think what else I've linked up incorrectly there :S -

On behalf of all the staff at 1Emulation I extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed to the site's reviews this year. Special shout outs have to go to emwearz, for rolling out all those reviews all at once, Jitway, for keeping our music reviews alive with a staggering number of articles, and of course Devia Eleven for being the first one to have a crack at the daunting video review. I feel embarrassed posting such a long list and having contributed nothing myself, but I suppose I'll have to get around to a Turok review at least... sooner or later. Anyway thanks again to all our contributors and make sure to let them know what you think by dropping a comment in our Reviews & Rants forum!

I would get a stick but apart from VF5, which I haven't touched in months, what bloody fighters are there? And who's to say a better stick than the dodgy Hori EX2 isn't out by the time, say, Street Fighter IV comes out?

The d-pad is gay and I also dislike how you can't do as much as I'd like with the HDD. Otherwise, I love the games out now, I love Live Arcade and I love achievements. I also love the DivX playback and Wireless Network Sharing from WMP. Custom soundtracks on all games, or rather the ability to access your music / media in-game is another big plus. All the demos and videos on Live just sweeten the deal.

Doesn't the newest Universal Unbricker circumvent this?
-
It is really bad.
-
Do you have a friend or something who has a PSP that is running a Custom Firmware / hacked? If so, then the firmware of the PSP you buy doesn't matter. The only other thing you need is a big Memory Stick to store all the homebrew / ISOs etc.

Official: Happy Birthday to.... Thread
BlackKnight replied to Mag's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Congratulations. Bless all the Aries on this board btw. -
Given all the 360 failures I think you'd still want the warranty with Microsoft intact.
-
It's a hardware feature... the whole internal clock thing. And Diamond and Pearl do have day / night cycles.

You are incorrect- he is no longer an active member here.

I don't like anime. At all. But the anti-anime rant is a matter for another thread. Anyway that explains my extremely mainstream ones I've listed but the intros on them are quite good. Evangelion Hellsing Yu-Gi-Oh! DMX

Yeh but developing for those systems had been fully worked out by the time of those games. Also, those systems had such a large user base that it was worthwhile to figure them out and exploit them fully. The PS3 is even more complicated and not nearly as dominant in the market. Hence the 'we'll try harder next time' approach to these titles.
-
Well, I don't have any such problems- I don't think you should either with a 360?? 'Game mode' on your TV is to help with the lag caused by upscaling an SD signal to HD. Your 360, over HDMI, is outputting the HD signal- there should be no lag. Playing a PS2 DDR game is a biatch, but Universe isn't a problem at all. I'm not sure if / why / when you'd need to sync a game to the TV, but I've never had to. And I've played Guitar Hero 2 and 3 on mine too.
-
That roulette mechanic is, well, plain stupid.
-
This is Namco though, not EA. They're practically in Sony's pocket. If even they can't be f**ked jumping through the million and one hoops to squeeze power out of the PS3, then it's not their fault- the console's innards are just too knotted and up and complicated. And no it doesn't have the power for the ultimate win. I mean I'll believe you when I see one of those ultimate winning games, but if MGS4 and Tekken 6 can't blow us away graphically, then what leg does the PS3 and its supposedly 'godlike' hardware have to stand on?
-
Well, like I said, Tekken 6 doesn't look like much to write home about either. And that one is really their flagship title.
