I watched it very recently so I can recall very clearly just how bad it was. Plain shocking. Oath yes. The guy is a well presented actor from a lot of local TV dramas- he looks semi-respectible. The woman is another local actor who's done her share of risque roles and so I'm not complaining. It is still pretty cheesy, but nowhere near as much as if Hulk Hogan was presenting it, that's for sure.

So yeah they're reviving Gladiators here and in the UK like they're doing with American Gladiators in the States. I went to see a filming of an episode yesterday. I'm one of those guys that has been campaigning and signing petitions for the show to return for the last 10 years so I was stoked. Was pretty interesting, the only downside being that shooting one episode of 4 events took around 5 hours, setting things up etc etc. I got to see Atlaspheres, Vertigo, Suspension Bridge and Pyramid. They only shot each event once, but did a lot of takes of the interviews, introductions etc. I should have known all the smack talk the competitors came up with wasn't on the spot. Anyway yeah, good night out for me. As a piece of trivia, the new male Gladiator leader, Thunder, is actually the guy who played Bayman in that DOA movie

No offense either, I'm just having a bad week. I just don't see how anything said counters my argument... I dunno if Axl got my point or not but I don't see the 'ownage' in any case. My problem is that he is trying to do the same thing as iTunes; make money. I don't care about percentages of revenue going to artists etc.. he is selling something- pure and simple. By supporting downloading music he is trying to get a bit altruistic when all he is really doing is tickling the ego of every guy on the net who has ever pirated a track and wanted to be told it was 'OK', which is what I don't like. One more thing... which of my beliefs am I not following? Do you mean how I think stealing music is wrong? Are you saying that everyone who does do it thinks its the right thing to do?

Didactic crap. Flogging a market structure because it doesn't suit your audience, generate enough profit for you, or, hell, do anything good for the environment just shows that a CEO of a small company is trying to be hip enough to the net crowd to increase awareness and make as much money as he can the only way its possible for him to do so- mail orders and donations. If he wants to make a better living he should cut the sleazy salesmanship and just sign better artists. Free lossless DRM-free music = good. Some preachy bastard trying to get in my good books by telling me he agrees with the way I consume music = lame. And insulting to my intelligence. He can shove his trashy album and I hope his label goes to hell. Stealing music is wrong. Some jerk telling me its ok while trying to shove his product at the same time spanks of hypocrisy and basically just of being a jerk.

But you're anonymous in the sense that no one knows who you really are, and so can never stick it to you if you say something embarrassing. Just throw your problems out there- you might get just the help you need.

I didn't like how they split Nightmare between himself and Siegfried. Both came off weaker IMO.

The save issue happens like this; You save a SCIII Chronicles file on the Memory Card. You go back and load up data for an old game that was created before your SCIII data, and then play for a while and save it again. If you go back to SCIII, progress and save, everything on the card becomes corrupted. To remedy this you'll need to format using a 3rd party app - the PS2 browser cannot recover these glitched Memory Cards - and just hope you backed up your saves somewhere. This actually happened to me but I haven't since tried to replicate it. My understanding is that the Greatest Hits / Platinum print of the game, as well as the more recent Japanese print have this bug fixed.

That's not so bad. BC profiles and system data take up 7GB on the 360's HDD and it is only 20GB to begin with.

Pull up your Windows volume thing, go Options > Properties. Then check the Recording box, and adjust your recording volume levels.

Is there any downside / cost apart from HDD space for using Linux on the PS3?

Well I'm tossing up between Turok and DMC4, both coming out next Friday. Other than that I'm not too familiar with PS3 games that are out now- I keep thinking MGS4 and FFXIII :/ There's always CoD4, The Orange Box and Unreal Tournament III unless you played them already on the PC.

Easier said than done. Compatible IDE HDDs and those pesky Network Adapters are hard to come by these days.

In this case sucks means a hundred other games have done the exact same thing, just sh!tloads better. Omega 5 and those Mutant Assault games for Live come to mind. Except for the domination style map control which I think was a terrible idea.

Well I would prefer that... The new PSP has functions that the old one doesn't- so when they release things like Skype or those new accessories that are Slim & Lite only, it is kinda insulting to all those people with the older version. The PS2 and PSX remodels had the same essential functionality as the originals and I think it is a mistake for that to not be the case with the PSP.

There are for the 360. Occasionally singles are free for a limited time and the Halo 3 theme has always been free. There is also a Christmas carol that has always been free.
