  1. SNES - SNES9xTYL 0.4.2 ME Edition Genesis - PicoDrive 0.30 (completely owns) There are a few for the NES, but they're all fullspeed so use whichever you like the UI of the most.
  2. I recently got an XBOX 360 and have really whored out on the games. I am proud of this though because I got them all for less than $160AUD. Might sound like a lot but Armored Core 4 goes for $120 by itself here. The most I paid for a game is $50 for Gears of War, which was not bad. The least I payed was for 99c for Unreal Championship 2 (I opted to do a local pickup ). Despite that only Armored Core 4, Halo and Unreal Championship 2 were pre-owned. The rest are new and sealed! Quake 4, Prey and Halo 2 are all still sealed in the photo- they arrived today . Haven't got any 'new' games but I'm glad to have got as many as I did for the price.
  3. Cool as long as you have the right files. Most official installers avoid being illegal by making you compile the files you need from official firmware updates - you'll need a homebrew PSP for that. Just make sure you have a rip of the Memory Stick and not the common Memory Stick creator thing.
  4. LOL. Maybe it is just the black folk that generally like putting up pics more than white / miscellaneous peoples?
  5. it's not my fault that almost all the videos posted on chinese forums are in .rmvb format how is the homebrew scene for the PSP? is there a lot of useful applications, and how is homebrew for the new PSP, any compatibly issues? Also would it be a lot easier to buy and use the this batteryhttp://us.codejunkies.com/shop/Products/MA...LIM__PSP19.aspx than making my own? i don't have access to a homebrew enabled PSP so i'm thinking of gettin this battery. Please note that the TOOL battery does not come with the memory stick needed for flashing. Typically you need a homebrew PSP to make that 'magic' ms so make sure you have that aspect sorted before you buy that battery.
  6. I thought this was a definite R? Its R18+ here in Australia.
  7. It makes sense. A whole year has passed since Gears on the 360 and so the standards of reviewing have changed. When Golden Axe came out in 1987 it got 9/10 reviews. Yet if it came out today, compared to whats out now, it wouldn't score anywhere near as high. I'm surprised the last year only deducted 0.5 from Gears' score.
  8. An interesting piece of trivia- Lacuna Coil showed up for a record signing at an electronics store in the Sydney CBD last Thursday. While wandering the store you could overhear a lot of the staff whining about how the forgot the band was coming that day and how they'd never even heard of them before. I found it quite funny. Guess that makes them an underrated band?
  9. A Sega Mega Drive / Genesis / Mega CD Emulator for the PSP. Let me just say that despite the early stage of development, this emu port works like a dream. Fullspeed in all games I've tried, including taxing ones like Adventures of Batman & Robin and Sonic 3. Also, games that had SRAM errors in DGEN and PSPGenesis (Wonder Boy in Monster Land) or didn't work at all (Shadow of the Beast) work brilliantly here. I love it- if you are a fan of the Mega Drive be sure to check this out. It blows DGEN out of the water. [Download] Source: DCEmu
  10. I'm sure the story I read on Joystiq mentioned you needed to be an existing Xbox 1 owner to qualify? In any case, its not being offered in Aus so I don't feel cheated about my recent purchase.
  11. I was playing that online today and some punk said I was the worst player he'd ever seen. Great first impressions for GoW's online right there. Turned me off a little. That said what's ur gamertag? Teach me the ropes sometime.
  12. Tweakguides has always been a great place to bleed the last few drops of performance out of your hardware.
  13. Basically there is no PlayStation emulator- it is built in to newer versions of Custom Firmware starting with 3.XX OE / M33. Search around for how to upgrade to a CFW- it has been discussed too many times here. As for how to get a PS1 game on there, check my stickied tutorial.
  14. EA published the physical disc versions I'm pretty sure. The 360 case I've been eyeing off has the EA logo on it.
  15. But yours will have DVD-ROM logos on it as well. I'm assuming his only has DVD-RAM- old RAM drives can't read normal DVDs.
  16. Yeh I'm aware of that one, but thanks for the heads up. I actually made a video of a hacked Hidden Palace Zone based on that Alpha's arrangement of the level. In my blog I think.
  17. The alpha of which? The Sonic 2 'beta' is actually an pre-alpha build. Sonic eXtreme doesn't have a proper build of any kind available yet afaik.
  18. Well I'm a big fan of Sonic betas and prerelease versions. The Sonic 2 beta was one of the most infamous in the scene and dribs and drabs of the canned Sonic eXtreme have surfaced in the last year or so. Its always interesting getting a glimpse at developers' original intentions.
  19. Are you talking about beta versions of games that never ended up getting released?
  20. A DVD-RAM drive? Lol haven't seen one of those in ages. Basically what you have is not a DVD-ROM / DVD-/+RW drive. It is backward compatible with CD-ROM formats, but not with DVD-ROM since it is an older format than that. Also a DVD-RAM disc =/= a DVD-ROM disc. So sorry, but your data DVDs and movies will not play on that drive.
  21. How old are ya? I'm 22. I was cool with that until this thread. Making me edgy. Of course a lot of people could be lying...
  22. Yeh there is a little unnatural about that nose shot.
