Just make sure you have the right downgrader. Otherwise cross your fingers and hope for the best . My personal paranoid advice would be to go and turn all the power saving / screen saving features off, and keep the UMD drive door open while you do the downgrading as well. And yeh don't accidentally touch the power button at any time during the flashing. It's all pretty basic stuff though- you should be fine.

Right now all I watch is Nip/Tuck. I used to watch these shows but they've all gone down hill with the current / last season; Prison Break House The Office One Tree Hill Lost My Name is Earl Smallville Supernatural Ugly Betty Could never get into Heroes at all. Really don't like that show. If were digging into the past though I used to watch Mysterious Ways and Now & Again. Loved those 2 shows.

Gears just had a price drop but the prices of everything else here are ridiculous. $120AUD for Armored Core 4, $99 for Bioshock :/. Around RM15 - RM20 which is AUD5 or more. You need to modify your XBOX though For originals or backups? Things like Orange Box and Bioshock are region free.

Agreed. Hell DoA4's only improvement is more strict timing on the counters and its still fun to play.

Quick question... If I buy a region-free game like The Orange Box from the US or Asia, will that affect who I can play with online? IE if I buy the NTSC-U/C version, will I only be able to play with Americans? Or only people with NTSC-U versions of the game? Or will I be able to play with everyone? I'm asking because those are a lot cheaper than the local retail version here.

The shooting mechanic is boring. And stealing cars.. doesn't that get boring after the first few times you carjack someone? That has been one of the gimmicks of GTA this last generation and I'm surprised more people aren;t bored of it by now.

I agree with you. I'm not a fan of GTA. I hate it.. I think it's one of the worst games ever. I agree also. GTA panders to folks who like a lot of stuff, a great deal of flash, but not really any depth or substance. GTA is a bore to play and a pain to look at and no amount of slick dialogue can make up for those deficiencies.

Anyone remember the original Shadow Man? I always thought that one was pretty bad. It was the first game that made me go 'wow, I really do not want to be playing this'.

I agree that there aren't many good games for the PSP. I've been a happy owner but admittedly if you don't like Tekkens or Castlevanias you're kindof stuffed. Unless you happen to really like one of the other games. That said, I'm strapped to think of a single game I'd want to own for the DS so I'm still firmly pro-PSP.

Except that, looking at the PS3 not having many good games, I wonder if the PS4 would have any games worth making an emulator for- handheld or otherwise I know what you mean though. That is the way I feel with PSX games on my PSP.

Funny you mention driving issues... Im currently in the middle of an insurance claim. Basically I was driving along a straight road.. had right of way and all... Suddenly I am driven into by someone turning onto my road from a side street. They didn't stop, give way or even slow down. Both passenger side doors and the rear quarter panel on that side are all smashed. Car is still drivable. Just a really annoying process to go through- the claim and repairs- for something that wasn't my fault.

Huh? The 2 versions are going to be identical. It was developed for the PS3 initially so I'm not sure how it would end up with better graphics on the 360. That said, since I will likely be playing this on a 360 and not a PS3, I wouldn't really mind. But yeh DMC4 going multiplatform isn't news.

Wow... no. The PSP's emulation is FAR greater than anything the GP2x could provide. I believe this has been reiterated numerous times throughout the forum. Search for GameCop's review of the GP2x. Really? Why there's not a Sega CD emulator and a good PSX emulator for PSP? Doesn't matter. Genesis and SNES emulation, probably the weakest on the PSP, are better than the GP2X versions. The PSP also has perfect official PSX emulation. Sega CD emulation... it was a good system but a marginal one. I mean you can't make a case that the PSP isn't good for emulation just because there is no Sega CD emulator at the moment.
