I download games first and then buy them if they're worth buying. The games I pay money for are typically ones I've downloaded and played past the first 10 mins. There aren't that many but yeh I do buy them. Sometimes I even go crazy and preorder stuff like UT3 Collectors' Ed even though my comp will suck at playing it. Was the same as when UT2003 came out though so it should be ok in the long run.
You reckon these are realistic? CC screams of KH to me visually. Its a strange mix between cartoon and real that unsettles me a bit. I would have preferred full FFVIII-real or full FFVII-chibi. What he have is this gay ass visual style that I can't for the life of me take seriously. And I don't like it.
Blu-Ray isn't their problem. They don't have a solid direction in terms of software, features or marketing to support the hardware, which is great. That is the real issue with the PS3 that needs remedy. I think including the BD-ROM drive was a decision that will put them ahead of Microsoft in the long run, assuming they get the rest of the act together.
It's not that bad a deal- you'll probably end up with a prog scan TV sooner or later. My bigger issue is the massive bordering you still get when playing games. I'm tempted the same way though, but I'm just giving it a miss for now.
My dumb mates go hard on these things, despite my warnings. Seriousness of it aside, I'd find it hilarious if someone ended up dying from them- that'd teach em.
I'm totally lost on this subject so I'll just recommend the stuff you really want and not skirt around 'free' bs alternatives... Get Adobe Aftereffects and cut it Premiere Pro. They're easy to pick up and use. I haven't seen the Inspector Gadget movies (I don't want them messing with my memories) but I assume you're talking about fancy wipes, transitions and picture in picture stuff- Aftereffects is enough for that.
Well 4 years is long enough to upgrade isn't it? Gears, Quake, Crysis and this... might as well get that new machine I've been wanting to build for ages this year.
What is the extension of the file you download? An extension is the code after the "." in a filename. Example: picture.jpg - "jpg" is the extension. This lets us know if you're downloading the right file or not. If it is "htm" "html" "php" or something like that, you're downloading the wrong thing. If it is "zip" "rar" "gzip" "tar" or something like those, you're getting the right file. In this case just get WinZip or WinRAR to open those files. And for the love of all that's holy use some punctuation when describing your problem.
Is the R4DS illegal? I know that here things like Swap Magic and HDAdvance discs are illegal to sell because they use reverse engineered Sony intellectual property (or something)- is that the same angle with the R4DS?
I couldn't stand ever watching it. It was the most poorly written, animated & paced thing I ever saw on TV. Illogical and just plain boring. But this is coming from someone who hates anime in general so go figure.
Get a program called UMDGen. It lets you convert cames back and forth between ISO and CSO and also lets you delete their update eboots to make them even smaller.
I keep everything in a CSO format. The only games I still use as an ISO are Metal Slug Anthology and Monster Hunter Freedom 1. So far the rest works fine in the compressed format.
CSO is just an ISO compressed with WinZip like packing. The file difference is that is just smaller. The performance difference is that it takes longer to load data from a CSO than an ISO. In a game like Street Fighter Alpha3 MAX where everything is loaded before a fight there isn't a difference. However, in something like Metal Slug Anthology or any of the GTAs, where data is loaded constantly on the fly, you'll notice a framerate drop while the processor decodes the data. So yeh for most games, CSOs work fine. Just for a few where the performance is crap you might want to try just keeping the game as an ISO.
It's illegal to drink alcohol in Palestine? In terms of it altering behaviour, its not as if after one beer you'll start a fight or start acting irrationally. Hell, it'd take quite a lot for things to get that out of hand, which is why I don't see why it is such a problem for some people.
CCCP is short for Combined Community Codec pack. It is a good set, but if you want to try cutting down on the bloat just install ffdshow and AC3 codecs, and use Media Player Classic to play them. Those should cover most AVIs you come across.
Well those are reasonable, but we all know how conservative they are when they release those specs. I pass the minimum and almost nail the recommended but don't plan on playing this game very well.
