well i tried to make some changes to the neogeo files and haven't had no luck yet i did check out each of the files in the neogeo folder to compare it to the current source's neogeo files and the 2 with the most changes (and gave me errors when trying to compile) were neo_run.cpp and neogeo.cpp neo_run.cpp is the worst of the bunch to make changes cuz compared to fbax's version has certain things are in a different order and its a back and forth process. one thing i did notice in neo_run.cpp that it deals with the bios so if someone can get this setup right, it should fix bios prob with neogeo games heres my findings on the other files: d_neogeo.cpp = same neo_decrypt.cpp = different and made changes to match fbax's neo_palette.cpp = same neo_sprite.cpp = same neo_sprite_render.h = same neo_text.cpp = same neo_text_render.h = same neo_upd4990a.cpp = same neogeo.h = different but was minor changes

try losing the space between neo geo (fix the folder as well) and see what happens. btw, why did you have a roms folder within a folder thats for neogeo? personaly i would've left all the roms in neogeobut it your choice

i wish sf1 could be added in fba so i could possibly import the fbax

hmm odd mines is like so: szAppRomPaths[0] E:\Emulators\Kawa-X\Roms\ szAppRomPaths[1]..\roms\

ok roms must be in zip not rar. fbax uses the same roms as kawa-hex with some minor renaming (mslug5n for fbax and not nd and such). be sure to check the readme to check your roms. also the site that has kawa-hex (geocities one) has rom pics you can download and compare to yours.

yup a modded ps2 is ver much needed but if you wanna burn it anyway use just about an burning app but make sure know what version you downloaded (CD or DVD). apps i suggest the most is either recordnow (not by sonic) or the great and free dvd decrypter.

fbax version of the rom has a p rom (pmame) while the normal release of the rom has 2 p roms (4mb a piece). make sure you changed only the top line of the ini for rompath as the others don't work.

you can't edit the rompath.ini,its aknown bug that never got fixed so it must stay at d:\roms and there should be a roms folder within the emu's folder. the way its set it should read from dvdr fine but make sure you got the right roms.

nope, same old gameplay. like i said, the only thing different is just that you can face old versions of characters against ssf2t characters.

theres no way in hell that the guy who does kane did undertaker, you see this guys face (i don't beieve him to really be the same person as he looked way too different when he started out with the new costum but oh well) the one guy i was thinking about was brain lee who did the fake undertaker in the undertaker vs. undertaker match for summerslam. he looks dead on like the current taker but the current taker has a bunch of tatoo's now (i doubt anyone would wanna put sara on his neck just to work hehe) so they have no use for the other.

well from reading a few reviews, its not an extension of the ps1 game but just a remake of the game in just about every way (they mentioned enemies being in the same spots as ps1 and you beat them the same way as ps1's). theres little added features here and there but nothing to make you really wanna play it again.

well either way, its the same guy. they used use a another guy (forgot his name) but since this taker changed his look theres been no use for him.

well he was slightly vintage taker (paul bear, the hat, leather trench coat, and 2 classic moves: walk on the ropes and the tombstone). also he was rolling his eyes back but i don't remember him sticking his togue out like the guy from kiss hehe

its just all the sf2 game characters mixed into one game. so say you wanna have a battle of ryu from the original sf2 vs. ryu from ssf2t (the one with the super bar), you can in this game. its the same game as is and was out for ps2 in early december but ps2 version came with extras like they included the *censored* anime movie.

i agree, most of those sites are getting worse. i was at a site recently just as gamecop described it with hentai ads and the top 50/100 site ads and in order for you to get what you want you need to vote on 3-4 sites and then hope you could get the rom after typing in the numbers or so . others sites want you to pay them for a dump site which will allow you to get roms faster then to wait in a queue and there was one site i ran into which claimed it has roms but you need to make a donation to the site in order to get the roms. i can understand when sites need to pay bills so they throw an ad here and there but this is getting ridiculus.

lookup retroroms or emu-russia.net be sure to have both sets and use romcenter to fill it up with the rest missing or you can do it manually
