worked on first boot,now im cruising around the gui playing games.i will be testing shortcuts and smb soon BS or someone who knows the proper format for the shortcut files. if u can post an example on the right format thatd be awesome i just tried <shortcut> <path>E:\Emulators\CoinOPS\default.xbe</path> <label>Art of Fighting 2</label> <thumb>E:\Wide_Icons\aof2.png</thumb> <custom> <game>aof2</game> </custom> </shortcut> that booted me into the the gui so i tried <shortcut> <path>E:\Emulators\CoinOPS\MAMEoX.xbe</path> <label>Art of Fighting 2</label> <thumb>E:\Wide_Icons\aof2.png</thumb> <custom> <game>aof2</game> </custom> </shortcut> and it locked up my box. if i figure anything out ill post back. also wonering if i set up smb though the network option the name server is my smb share and i then add the smb to rom directory? any help is appreciated \ i just noticed my punctuation didnt post correct the above shortcut files were supposed to have proper spacing. just a reminder as of april the xbmc dev removed the shortcut options so i f u want to use shortcuts youll either have to compile your own xbmc or use a build pre april 2008

quality wise u can rip the wav files right from the saturn disc the re-encode it to whichever format bitrate u want. so yeah id say the saturn has better music tracks .i think the saturn has extra music though im not sure. a good way to find out would be the sound test option as both games have it acessible from the main menu.

ill upload the darkstalkers skin.and later this week the other one when i finish it. let me know about the font in the darkstalkers skin. i might need to either change the color or fade the backgrounds a bit. also im using this on a 480i tv so if there are any image problems i will resize the backgrounds for 720p http://www.mediafire.com/?woctymxznmm

idk if xbox-sky is down i checked it this morning and i just checked it again. hopefully i can get 2nd quarter patched this week sometime and start making shortcut icons and if all goes well ill add a button to the pmIII skin for xbmc called coinops

i spent quite a bit of time on the neogeo arcade cab getting the feel and look right. i didnt have any very good sources of neogeo arcade cab pics so i had to stitch it together piece by piece. the cps2 arcade cab was alot quicker to build . the first pic is of my original idea for a skin the darkstalker skin has different music for each background as its my most complete. the last pic i posted is a wide icon for fbaxx.

castlevania on the saturn is in my opinion the better of the symphony of the nights because it gives u the choice to play as maria,alucard or richter. though graphically the psx version is alot crisper and less pixely .SOTN has been played by me soo many times on various emulators(psp, ssf), it is one of my fav games

im finishing fable lost chapters for the third time.i really like the magic and combo system in this game. timesplitters future perfect. metalslug i used to be able to play through lvls 1- 4th lvl on just one life.lets see what else tekken 5 on my psp with remotejoy

sry for the double post i wanted to let you all know a bug i found. Tempest doesnt load it freezes up everytime can someone else confirm this?

thats easy enough i have 152 kawaks dat and a 84 if i want to add a proper set i can thx. i have a complete xbox mame release years back that came with a mamedox or bendermame. so when command line is implemented i will launch games right from xbmc i might even use another xbox in a cabinet at that point.

oh so thats why its rebooting to desktop when i launch cut files i was under the impression that cut files were implemented sry itshard to keep current on all the news i made a folder caleed CoinOPS and put a cut file in it then i added it as a source i was trying svc . if u implement shortcuts that would be super though it would be nice to finally be able to use this als is coinops mame romset 84u3? i dont recall which it is i wanted to track it down so i could add some games

can someone tell me the proper format for coinops cut files if its already posted in this topic just tell me to read through if not i could use a sample

so far ive only been able to test a few games ive notcied that some of the games dont have sound until a quarter is put in. is this cause the older arceade games ran this way or a dipswitch? the roms load waay faster than platiunum 2 which came as a suprise good job on that. i havent tested any lightgun games yet i just havent gotten around to it yet but i have tested battle circut, battle toads(2nd coin slot not working?) ,blackheart(no sound),blood storm and bloody wolf. just going down the list alphabetically. i didnt want to install coinops right away because i was palnning to reformat my xboxhd and i didnt feel like ftp'ing all that data and i was happy with plat2. Also i wanted to wait until the 2nd patch came out as the 2nd patch was being talked about soon after coinops initial release. since its my first real session with coinops you get a 10/10 everything feels much smoother and less buggy.this is real good work thx for this i havent installed the patch yet whats it fix?
