I usually just edit the ini file located in the ini folder of the emu. OPen the fbaxxx.ini scroll down to video options and change nCurrentVideoMode 0=480i 1=480p 2=720p I usually dont run it a resolutions higher than 720 but for 1080 use 3. or just change it in game that works to. Also the neogeo bios that pro 1.28 was using has been updated a bunch since its release so I would expect it needed an update.I looked around for my missing neogeo files a few months ago when mame updated the neogeo bios set. @Kenshiro so far all that messing with the xml trying to sort game categories prevents the skin from loading

I totally lucked out today. Earlier this week I traded in my Phat PSP. Besides the IR transmitter the Phat lacks a ton of features included on the slim models. I went to Gamestop and asked if they had any used slims in stock they asked what color I said red or black. Dude comes out with a near mint God of War red PSP. I dont know if yall are aware but the GoW edition PSP was the last before the unhackable motherboards. After inspecting the device and finding it in great working order I bought it. Now I'm rocking CFW 5.00 M33-6 woot I love PSP homebrew. and tv out doesn't hurt either

Im getting a virus warning with the newer mame plus builds. nod32 is telling me there is a possible variant of win32 statik virus or some nonsense. Anyone know why?

just get clrmamepro and a dat to match your older mame builds. Import the dat select your rom path and output path . presto old mame set. I've never used rollbacks or a program to use roll backs but clrmamepro has tons of good features.

I have had so much fun with the 128 build. Spent a silly amount of time learning combos and moves. I will eventually mess around with the gui and make some new skins. FBA XXX is the reason I wanted to make skins for the xbox without fbaxxx I probably would have never done so.

If it really bothers you just edit the xml files on a skin you like and swap Misc Games header with NeoGeo Hey Kenshiro how hard would it be to add a option to make a only missing sets dat? Building a full romset usually takes about a half a day. Its not all that bad Just eats up cpu process and time.

I always used the mechassult variant. imo its good to backup your installer files somewhere so when doing the install you use the same ones every time .Or dl the newest version of your favorite installer disk. I've come across bad files on the action replay site.After its all installed make a backup of the eeprom and original files on the hard drive Some installers do this automatically like the unleashx dash then ftp it to your pc.As long as you have your eeprom you can fix a bad softmod. Do the softmods still have they error which happens if you unplug your xbox for to long?

I've never compiled stuff on windows machines because I need all those visual c++ programs and what not. I've done plenty of code compiling on linux. Do I just compile the program for x86 hardware with comments for the xbox? @resurrectionX if xport emus can handle vids I'm sure fbaxxx can easily be modified to play xmv's. I'm not sure on how the games will run. Most of the neogeo games require a lot of memory. How much ram does playing the vids require? and does the code for vids dump the ram before it loads the roms? I never got into night stalkers but osman is da bomb. It's like a 2d strider/ninja gaiden on roids and lsd. over on scenyx bomb bloke posted a shortcut maker and patches for pcsxbox and surrealxxx to accept shortcuts. I always thought the 3D0 version of flashback tops. I Think all versions claimed to have 60fps animations. I got stuck at the subway in the 2nd level I forget how to beat this part. I'm playing Ninja Gaiden Black and doing fairly well no talismens of rebirth needed yet
