  1. I would imagine that the 360 version is far more superior than this tripe that I have.
  2. This place is stellar, I'm downloading a couple of skins now. Awesome.
  3. Crisis Core is very enjoyable especially if FFVII is your favorite Final Fantasy. The combat system is "innovate", it's more like a Kingdom Hearts real time based RPG. The story will keep you into the game. It's not a game I recommend you "purchase", though. Here is a thread I posted that sums up my opinion, it's more of a first opinion. http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28198
  4. it's not that difficult, just follow the in instructions, but you do need a pSp capable of homebrew already to make one (tmk), so your best bet is to find one on ebay. Ah OK, I believe open the battery case and cut a pin from motherboard not very difficult (at least I can do that). Thanks to those who make it lots easier. So if someone waiting for down grader on official 3.52, then I suggest go for hack the batteries motherboard, things you will need is confident. Not to fear and of course you can make you battery to normal after use. Don't do that if you lack experience, because if you break the battery, you're toast. You'll end up having to purchase a Pandora, and an entire new battery just for the PSP's power source. Why are your posts always blissfully contradictory? That was exactly what I posted earlier, but it looks like you've come in this thread blind eyed to my help.
  5. Why are you suddenly concerned about downgrading? Earlier, you stated that you didn't want to downgrade. In order for you to achieve installing, Custom Firmware 3.71m33-3, you need to have a Pandora's Battery, and a Magic Memory Stick. http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-hardware-...tery-guide.html
  6. You cannot install Custom Firmware on a PSP with a Firmware of 3.51 or higher, without using a Pandora battery. In order to install Custom Firmware on a PSP with 3.52 OFW, you will need a Pandora's battery, and a Magic Memory Stick.
  7. * Sonic Team * Action * Release: Nov 18, 2008 * ESRB: Everyone 10+ Has Sonic finally been resurrected correctly? Well, you'll have to read the rest of the review to find out. When you talk about 3 Dimensional Sonic games, you're talking about the mediocre Sonic Adventure, and the garbage remake that we called Sonic the Hedgehog. The first thing that comes to mind is, (horrible platforming), (bottomless pits), (repetitive missions), (poor voice acting), and absurd deaths like, Sonic not being able to swim. Sonic Unleashed fixes none of these errors; it's your same old abomination of a Sonic game, I am sad to say. I am not sure if the Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3 versions are that much different, but this game is a failure. Some monstrosity of a being called Dark Gaia is destructing the planet. Along with the planet being discombobulated, you yourself now have the ability to transform into a Wolf. The only thing this does is bring more frustration into the game. Except that these "WereHog" missions seem to be extremely lengthy, tedious, and problematic. More of these WereHog missions are done, than the actual Sonic missions. What the flop? Why do these new Sonic games always involve 20% super fast speed Sonic stages, and 80%, broken missions that have nothing to do with how the 2D classics played? So, throughout the entire game, you scan the globe, and there are cities for you to check out. In each city, there are locations, where, you can interact with other people. The dialogue is completely pointless, but talking to others is necessary to opening the "Shrine" in each city. In these "Shrine" places, there are doors, more importantly, three doors, (Moon), (Sun), and (Star). The Moon door is comprised of WereHog missions only, the Sun door comprises of the desirable Sonic missions, and the Star door yields boss battles for that particular city. Each time you complete either a Sun mission, or a Moon mission, you gain a Sun or Moon medal, (each medal is gained from doing the opposite mission), so there's this unwarranted process, of playing these button mashing massacre WereHog missions, just to gain enough Sun medals, to open the Sun door, in that respected shrine. Each WereHog mission contains about 3-5 different stages, they are long and drawn out, filled with broken platforming mechanics, mindless button mashing, repetitive battle music and monsters. No matter if you are Sonic or WereHog, you will always have three lives, and that's it. Collecting rings doesn't grant you extra men, collecting rings as the WereHog only restores your health, and as Sonic, it increases your boost meter, allowing you to use a boost while running. Why are these missions here? Once again the main reason why people like to play Sonic games, is because of the loop-de-loops, with the rings and the blasting through everything and running super fast and whatnot. Why is there a sorry excuse for a platformer in this game? Did they think that without it, the game wouldn't be as lengthy? I finished this game in a weekend. The game requires you to complete one stage three different times. The first is a, (reach the goal), mission, the second, (collect so and so amount of rings), the third, (Time Attack). Why is Time Attack required for you to move on to the next stage? There are fewer than 10 stages to play with as Sonic, and over 10 to play with as the WereHog. The Sonic stages end as soon as they begin; ending in an average of 3 minutes, while the gratuitous WereHog missions can be expansive, ranging from 7-10 minutes. The game's autosave function is completely annoying, it saves after EVERYTHING, there are too many bottomless pits, Sonic can't swim, but other than that, the Sonic missions are very enjoyable. They just get old fast. Sooner or later, it won't be fun; it'll just be a chore. It was my motive to finish this garbage. The final Boss was a combination of all things wrong with the game put into one fight, you'll have to deal with the problems of the game, and still sustain the annoying Boss battle. Don't purchase this, it's a decent rent, but except you to be laying down the controller in disappointment. I hate Sonic Team, and I hate Sega, because they fail. Gameplay -- 6 Controls -- 7 Graphics -- 7.5 Presentation -- 7 Overall -- 6.8
  8. The original Arcade version ran on 32-bit graphics, which means, that the arcade version is actually inferior to the PS2 port.
  9. It seems like this game has been getting decent ratings because of how well the story was pulled together.
  10. Good luck, I was able to get to Disc 2 before my memory got erased.
  11. You can't downgrade from 3.52 without a battery.
  12. I finished Earthbound (SNES), yesterday, while the sun was still out. It was a very gratifying experience, I wish the game would had kept track of how long I played, I would guess that I clocked in about 70 hours or more. The only beef I have with this game, is that, the "Goods" capacity is too small, I scoured dungeons and came across countless items I couldn't hold, because I had too many items. Even taking it further, all of the items I had in "Goods" were mandatory key items, even with the help of three other characters, I still did not have enough space, anywho. I do understand that Escargo Express existed, but it helped only a little. I finished the game with these stats. Ness - Lvl 99 Paula - Lvl 86 Jeff - Lvl 86 Poo - Lvl 79
  13. I still don't understand why they didn't do, MORTAL KOMBAT VS. KILLER INSTINCT
  14. Doesn't Marshall Law even further depict Bruce Lee in Tekken 6?
  15. Who do you people think is the best Video Game Bruce Lee depiction?
  16. That also includes, engaging in combat against Pictures and Gas Pumps.
  17. I posed that same video posts back, and you don't have to register in order to view it.
  18. Is that Clorox Bleach behind you? No, that's the generic Bleach from Kroger.
  19. I started to replay this game since yesterday. I learned that talking to every single person in town, including people within buildings and houses is important. People give you hints inadvertently, and doing this makes the game slightly more linear, if impossible. I was grinding heavily, happily, and wholly before Paula and Jeff came into the picture. I was getting all of the EXP, and when they joined my party, the EXP started to get split between us. It reminds me of Pokemon, where your party'll be on a leveling montage, and from the outcome of a new caught Pokemon, (the no party member left behind policy kicks in), all of the EXP you get will have to be devoted to that new low level Pokemon, to help it catch up with the rest of the party. That really slowed me down, before I even rescued Paula, I was on level 30. My leveling slowed down as I had to spoon feed them, so they could get on my level. Our levels still don't match now, I'm on level 38, and they are in their twenties. I don't know why they did this, where characters start off on level 1, but that's my minor rant on that. Towns are filled with personality and pizazz, everyone has something meaningful to say, (mostly everyone), but the navigation can grind my gears on occasion. The item limitation is extremely short, cutting off being able to collect many items, I would have to remove one item to hold another item. It gets even more annoying when you're removing food to carry more items. Since I'm with two other people I can't use my bike, and it grows to be problematic to scour through dungeons just to get all of the way home, to store items, so you'll have enough space to carry about 6 more items. It helps to have other characters collect items for you, but it's inconvenient when Ness doesn't have enough room. The status aliments that can only be exclusively cured by NPCs, are the ones that I loathe. I hate having to return to the Hospital on and off to cure my fellow weak party members. That's all I have to say right now, I probably pointed out more negative aspects of the game than positive, but, let me continue with the game.
