Dreamcast Disk Drive Problems?
Cominus replied to Gryph's topic in DreamCast & Saturn Emulators [/pc/dc+saturn]
What are you talking about? You mean like if you had the dc connected to a tv and a pc moniter? if yes then yes, but if you mean between the "real" pc screen and the DC pc screen, then no. I dont think there is a VGA box out there that does this, well not atleast one for $20 and under, you'd have to buy one for like $40-60. The VGA box is meant for the PC monitor, oh yeah it also comes with the s-video cable thing that lets you connect your dc to a "HD" tv, or one with the s-video connection port "plug" but my tv dont have it so i wouldnt know about "HD" game quality... I guess I'll have to get one of the expensive ones then. It's going to weird to have to pay more of a VGA Box than I paid for my DC. The way my computer is set up, it would be quite a hassle to change the cable between each device. It's best to ask the seller about these kind of things, they should know, well atlest if the item isn't brand new or something. -
Flock all that scrap, EPHEDRA!!!! *Grabs chest* HElllp..ppp.p........

Sure dude go for the cheapest arcade stick you can find, lol! Well if you buy it tell me what it's like. Well i have the Naki or Maki VGA box which is good i suppose, well siba has the same one so it must be good. I got it for like 15 plus shipping i think, or maybe it came out to 15 with shipping, not too sure, but go with that one if you find it, i got it off of ebay too. -
This was posted over at Xbox World....by a very reliable source.... People were speculating that at mmcafe. So if it isn't hardware news (I.E. another arcade board then Naomi 2), nor console. It's 1) Sega baught someone 2) Someone Merged with Sega (Technically Sammy and Sega aren't merged together, they just use the share resources) or 3) Exclusively develope for a system. They just might merge with nintendo cuz sega an nintendo were rivals in the beginning and now that sony and xbox have been buying them out it would be like the only way that either company will be able to make any real money. Plus they both make a bunch of adventure games and sega makes a couple of fighting games so that could place them so where in the next console race.

Well thats that and I found this there too hmm....

Dreamcast Disk Drive Problems?

Well for me VGA is good even though i've only tried it on a few games but the VGA only makes 3d games look good. For some reason everytime i play a 2d game it looks pixeld(sp?) but 3d games look really good. It's up to you, but about the arcade stick, im not too sure whats good, im still looking my self. I bought the official one "agtech" and it kinda sux cux the stick base is square and not a circle for "360" motin which makes it kind of difficult for 2d fighters, i feel like getting rid of it, not the keybord is good, especially if you have or really like FPS cuz it makes it a whole lot easier. Well thats about it, tell me if you ever get a good arcade stick and tell me what it's like. Here's the Joystick -

Well the DC is loud on it's own but what kind of loud? Like nails on a chock board? If so then your gd-rom needs to be aligned unless the noise come from when you play a bootlegg/back-up, cuz some back ups make a way lot of noise, bad rip i guess. If it makes a way lot noise on an original then yeah you probably need to align the thing, it's not hard, well i never actually did it but i followed the guied and just opened my dc just to see whats inside. Check out the little video that siba has on his guide, it reminds me of an XXX moive."lots of noise from hanling the camera" -
I'll challange it. SF2 was known for its great playablity, control and detailed (note: low-resolution) and interesting characters. GG is known for its great playablity, controls, detailed (note: 620x400 resolution, which gives the illusion of highly detailed characters) and interesting characters. There I just compared SF2 to Guilty Gear. What do you know, same exact points on why they are BOTH still popular! Exactly. Final Fantasy 1 is longer then Final Fantasy 7. FF1 HAS story like FF7, FF7 just went into highly developed plot as oppose to Final Fantasy 1, which is MUCH HARDER then Final Fantasy 7 - note: hard difficluty may be well, hard, but it's also much funner. In 7 team work with your characters in definate. In 1, it goes either way, Solo BM or full party of BM's or mixed classes. Both are great games, accliamed for giving notations to what RPGs are today and for Squaresoft, they were both "Make or Break" games. There I compared it. Now you can say your stupid rant on why I shouldn't compare them. HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH Thats the funniest thing i've ever read! Not only does it prove your stupidity, it just even makes your stand about SF2 being a great game ever worse! Great playability? You can't even run for God sakes, there are no special block techniques like parrying or just defence, not even a cancelling technique like in GG. Can you air dash? No, can you do specials? No no. Is the animations as great? Hell *!$*#*% no. How dare you compare the first Final Fantasy to FF7. FF1 Story is nothing compared to 7. The hero's in the original nes games doesn't even have official names. How can you compare the depth of the story when the characters themselves don't even have profiles? Battle system? What? FF1 doesn't have a proper magic system? Oh I see. I can also believe that FF1 graphics roxxers. (,y @$$) Sorry, you aren't making any ground breaking points in this debate. You can step down now. WTF? You're hating on the comparison of a game that came out like 1992 and 1998, thats flockig 6 years of upgrading and shjit! You CS! Of course gg is going to have more stuff, hello!!! 6 years of upgrading and crap, you know where we'd be in 6 years? Playstion flocking 3 and next box xbox!, You're jus a spammer. Well thats my 50 cents, go shorty it's b-day....

why do the kps keep droping, it used to be like 6o some then it was like 50, then 40, and now it's 24...whats the deal yo?

Cominus replied to Mag's topic in DreamCast & Saturn Emulators [/pc/dc+saturn]
What i did was use the disc mount from alcohol and then i use alchol to burn that image to the HD in the CDDA(sp?) format, then i burned it. -
How does it work? I read that you can turn it off in order to play xbox live. Does this mean i can turn it off to play domestic game or what? Is there a modchip that can do that?

Religious Things That Make The World...

Well neutrinos are also involved with electrons. Whenever something goes through beta decay and an electron is released, an anti-neutrino is shed along with it. And when it releases a positron, a neutrino is released. I have to know this crap for my physics test on Wednesday. Why is it that whenever we talk about something scinetific you always seem to have a test about it the fowllowing week? -
Are there requests? If so, GGXX - Holy Orders please.
