True. Overhere your team has the reputation of a defensive team, not easy to score a goal against them. And without a goal, you'll never win But I also missed the spirit the last match. We won too easy. I'm also heavily inclined to believe the italians paid us off to lose on purpose. Not that we stood a chance anyway, but our game was so bad, it made my eyes scream out in pain and bleed.

We were utterly pathetic. Seriously. Now I remember why I don't watch football. That seriously got me depressed. Dutchland's second team literally gave us plenty of opportunities to score. I have never seen a more unorganized inept bunch of players. My paralytic grandmother could've played better than those poor excuses for football players. Dutchies were literally passing the ball to out players as an encouragement. You have the proof in our match with France. We were facing a much weaker team and we couldn't get the upper hand no matter what. Depressing to say the least... remember your team isnt full of star players, they did well to get to the tournament.they played some good football and were better than you are making them out to be. We have better players, they weren't there tho. I don't know why. Like I said, I don't really follow football that much. Besides, over here, the coach, Pitzurca has a reputation of being a severe retard...

Teen girls made pact to get pregnant
Sybarite Paladin AxL replied to Alpha's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Great, hope more of these pacts don't happen, or we'll definitely need a war to cull the global populace. Oh, and I'd love to force them all in the same room when they give birth. Hopefully, the echoing screams of excruciating pain will mass lobotomize them. -

Alls I know is, once you get the exploit onto your memory card, you should try running HDLoader with it. -
Free MC Boot Released for PS2
Sybarite Paladin AxL replied to BlackKnight's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Aight, so I'm looking into buying a brand-spanking new PSTwo and a HDD specifically for it. Coupled with this and HDLoader, would I ever have to use the laser? -
Well, sooner or later, we'll all get there. America last of course.

Yeah I am Romanian. And with my limited knowledge, I'm writing them off too. Unless a certain club owner decides to shelve out big bucks as a "motivational" factor. Fact of the matter is, the other teams are just better. I heard we might be pushing for a tie, if bribery is involved. France seems to like the idea as well as there's a lot of corruption going on there as well.

The Big ass Street Fighter IV thread
Sybarite Paladin AxL replied to Inky's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
True, but the same could be said about the majority of fighting games anyway. They don't shelve out stories or bios. It is annoying to go outside of the game to get the full details on that character, but I find that once that's over with you get a much better feeling for said characters. I consider that a game development flaw. True, for an arcade game that's not much of an issue but in home ports they could add story modes or bios as extra options. -

Get back into your cave, troll. Until I see you actually making any meaningful contributions to this board, you're a about as interesting as worm crap. -

Of course they do! That's the whole point of a backstory. It shows you how that character became the way he is now. It's crucial. Otherwise you'd have, say Ryu and then Satsui no Hadou ni Mezameta Ryu and you wouldn't know what to make of them. A design is the sum of all things related to that character. -

OR you could bow to me... 1 XBox 360 w/Live 1 XBox 360 Flashed 1 Wii w/ Wiikey 2 Fat PSP's (Both flashed to 3.90 m33-3) 4 (YES 4) PC's (1 for my kids, 1 for me, 1 for my husband and 1 in a MAME Cabinet) and yes...... 1/2 a PS3 (because it was gifted to me and a relative) Even then I still don't care much for the PS3. I never said I hated the PS3, I'm just not that fond of it at this point in my life. And I never asked you if you hated the PS3 And we were talking about consoles, PCs don't count. The point I was trying to make was not the fact that I want to brag about my consoles, but simply that I could not care any less about these types of arguments because I'll just get all of them if they have enough games that interest me to warrant a purchase of said consoles. So could we all just stop trying to brag about our wallets? And there's only one way I'd bow down to a woman, and that involves my tongue. It has nothing to do with how much money anyone has, I own all the consoles except NDS and I stated which I prefer. Not liking the PS3 wasn't even directed at you And as far as using your tongue go for it I like my boots licked by the pathetic otherwise you wouldn't even know what to do down there if you had a map and 2 guides leading the way Dear me, someone sure can't take a joke. Been a while hasn't it? Lighten up, I'm just kidding. Didn't mean to insult you or anything. Although I'd recommend you not knock it before you've tried it. And to be fair you did tell me to bow down to you and then started bragging about your consoles. All I did was state what I meant with my initial post. -
Nothing really interesting to be honest. It's boring if me and my friends aren't playing it and all I do is drink alcohol and watch some dudes kick a ball around. It's rather sad to be honest. I'd much rather watch a fighting game match-up, hang out with my comrades, head on down to the club and bust a move, or spend time with my girl. If a brit read that, you'd be crucified upside down. It's FOOTBALL.

Uhm, that's only in a case by case basis. Same goes for KoF. If you take a look at Goro and Zangief, they could pass as real personalities any day. I don't see this strangeness you keep mentioning at all. If you would actually know what the characters are supposed to act like you'd know they fit the description perfectly. Yamazaki is a psychotic mobster. He does the job perfectly. Blanka has nothing going for him, he's just a green brute stock character. Sagat had potential and evolved quite well. And Vega is superb just the way he is. Sure, the new characters added in the latest installments are somewhat lacking. I don't consider Oswald on par personality-wise with older characters for instance. I will not deny that the Street Fighter characters have some spunk in them, it's just that they need to have it unlocked for them to truly shine. I'm pretty sure SF4 will do them good. You say KoF looses itself in strangeness? Why, just because they use more/bigger energy moves? That's a non-argument right there. The only reason why KoF and the like did not catch on that well in the west is because of the Street Fighter craze. Us Europeans and the Asians however see the superiority in it's design and can enjoy it to its fullest extent. So do South Americans for that matter. Wiz says that KoF chars are made from what was going on at the time. Fair enough. It's great to see how Japanese popular culture has evolved over time, and what SNK's twists to the various crazes are. But what about characters like the ones from Samurai Spirits or especially Last Blade? Nothing you can argue there, just awesomely-designed characters. Now you've got Crimson Viper who is just a very very late Vanessa copy with a crappy name. Bring back the Alpha characters for the love of God those were awesome... To summarize, it's a case by case basis, but if you were to draw the line and get an average, SNK would always win. And as an advice to you BK, read SNK character bios and stories. Then you'll see how awesome they really are. -
Itagaki, father of DoA & Ninja Gaiden resigns
Sybarite Paladin AxL replied to BlackKnight's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
DoA has no feeling, no personality attached to it at all. Just a bunch of big-boobed stock characters. A rather sad series, if you ask me... Has never had anything in it for me to truly consider it a good fighting game... -

Stop spouting fail old man. Everyone needs to get over Ash Crimson already. Yes, Crimson Viper is the Capcom Vanessa with added flash, deal with it. Vanessa will always be more awesome. In fact, Capcom managed to make Crimson Viper as fail as Ash Crimson on the design part. SNK has superb characters and everyone knows it. Just because SNK has a couple of stock characters, doesn't make Capcom any more original. You're forgetting that SNK has a giant roster. There's bound to be a couple of those characters you're so phobic about. Fact of the matter is, SNK has awesome characters. Deal with it. Awesome examples come to mind like Yamazaki or Blue Mary, and the list could go on and on forever. Capcom just can't design characters this good and full of personality. Although SFIII did a lot of catching up. -
Not bad, but the car's nose just doesn't scream "attitude" like the previous one inky posted.

Dear God, that is gorgeous. My kingdom for a car like that one. Superb... for any disagreements at least we have the same taste in cars. for pure american iron sex on wheels nothing compares to a mid 60's lincoln continental Just brought a tear to my eye. Seriously, I'm a completely ignorant when it comes to cars and what makes them tick. But seeing that, in all it's glory. Congrats Americans, you did something right, finally.

I suppose further down the road, I'll consider getting a more economic car, but it'll still have to be smokin' awesome. Milady needs her transportation to be freakin' hot. Dear God, that is gorgeous. My kingdom for a car like that one. Superb...

Don't they guzzle petrol like there's no tomorrow? I think they do, but I still want one. Besides, gas prices here aren't that bad I suppose. If I can save up a couple of thou, maybe I'll convert it to diesel too.

Me, I want an American Cadillac from the 70s and 80s to be honest. They just look badass...

GamePolitics has learned that the Florida Bar has requested that controversial attorney Jack Thompson, 56, be disbarred for ten years for 27 violations of professional misconduct. The request came today at a sanctions hearing before Judge Dava Tunis in Miami. Thompson reportedly stormed out of the hearing after Tunis refused to let him read a lengthy objection aloud. Tunis, acting as referee on behalf of the Florida Supreme Court, did permit Thompson to submit a copy of his objection for the record. Prior to that there was apparently some disagreement between Tunis and Thompson over the placement of the podium. We're told Thompson lost that argument as well. By leaving the courtroom, Thompson missed the opportunity to argue any mitigating factors to the Bar's recommendation for harsh punishment. A GamePolitics reader, Nevext , apparently was present today and posted impressions in comments to this morning's preview piece on the hearing. Here's Nevext's version of events: I was able to tag along with an actual attorney, so we drove to the courthouse, went up to the courtroom, waited outside until 2pm. Baliff opened the door and I held it open. Sadly, I even held it open for the beast himself. So the judge came in. Judge Tunis seems like a real nice lady. Thompson wanted to make known that he had a objection in writing. He was able to submit it to the record, but the judge said he couldn't read it aloud. That really pissed him off, I think. He also passed around copies of the objection to various reporters and a member of the legal community known as "Mr. Mim". He also claimed that "Mr. Mim" was not supposed to be there. So he dropped the objection into his lap and went back to his side of the court. The judge was NOT pleased. Eventually, he made comments about the judge not being a judge(This is relating to the Loyalty Oath stuff), said the hearing was moot, and WALKED OUT. "The court acknowledges that Mr. Thompson has voluntarily left the proceedings" Then the Florida Bar presented it's evidence. Lalalala, bunch of legal crap. The Bar recommends that Thompson's punishment should be: "Enhanced disbarment, with a reapplyment wait of 10 years" After more legalese, the court was ajorned. Mr Mim threw away his copy of the objection. A friend of mine who happened to be attending reached to get it at the same time a State Attorney was. We ended up getting a copy of it because the State Attorney was a nice guy. And we went home. End of story GP: Thanks much, Nevext, for that first-hand account. "Mim" would be Florida Bar prosecutor Barnaby Min. Don't invite Thompson and Min to the same party. If you're having a party... source: gamepolitics Lalalalalalalalalallalalalala....
