If they ever do a remake it better have every other material from the FF7 world canon and non-canon incorporated into it, including Advent Children, that OVA, the books, and the mobile games. That should make it uber and definitive.

Umm, it still looks like just another Sonic race-type game. I miss the old-school Sonic the Hedgehog 3 games. That's what I really liked.

Still can't make friends with DaW. The other way round, can't wait for CnC Addon release next week . Oh me neither. And Red Alert 3 and Starcraft 2 as well. Those're gonna be frikin sweet. But I still consider DoW the best strategy game of all time. It gives you the best feeling of war out of all of them. So in your opinion, should I wait until they fix all the bugs with Soulstorm before getting it? The new expansion doesn't really interest me that much but hey it's DoW. I'd wait for the first patch to roll out. Seriously, having finished the campaign with the Eldar, the loading times were so obscenely long that I could smoke a cig in-between. That and the air units are unbalanced and badly designed as fvck. Oh and the Sisters of Battle are overpowered, menopausal bitches and I hate their guts badly. Now, I've never had loading times so long in Dark Crusade, not even when running Winamp and three other proggies in the background.

Making something that's hard to do with a great pay off into something that's easy to do and still has a great pay off has removed a few things that made Deadly Rave so great. It's flexibility as a combo starter and it's damage. Making it an auto combo, combined with ease of doing it, high damage and decent start up can lead to very disasterious things. As such, it is no longer a high risk super/high reward super to use, just an No Risk/High Reward super. Similarly to Chun-Li's Hyoukousen. No risk/High Reward. Not really. It's just put in line with every other super it's level. Still costs stocks, so you risk loosing your stocks if you miss or your opponent blocks. Standard super move risk. Back then it was just "you hafta button mash-a or else you lose-a the stocks-a!" And I'm pretty sure there's a lot of other combo starters for Geese that don't cost you two stocks to do as well...

I wouldn't know about the arcade platform but it's gonna have a PS2 release as well. Judging from the graphics, I'd say either Atomiswave or Taito. I forgot if they dropped Atomiswave or not really...

My condolences. I can't pretend to know how you feel, when my grandfather died I was only 5 so it didn't really register. However, you and your father have my best wishes and I can only hope this things will get better, to the extent that they can in this case. Like everyone else said, spend more time with your father. Warhammer 40k Dawn of War Soulstorm Even tho it uses the same engine as Dark Crusade, it's so poorly optimized it's not funny. Also loading times are at least twice as long as Dark Crusade's. WTB patch... Great fun tho.

While I enjoyed the button mashing that ensued with the Deadly Rave, it's still not fair to anyone to spend 2 or 3 power stocks for a very powerful super only to have it fail because they couldn't button mash properly. The change is welcome. And I hope to God they didn't make Kasumi a charge character. What changes are there to her?

Oh well, looking forward to it as well. Hope it gets a PC version with netplay. That would be awesome. But the music is the only thing that puts me off, and a lot...
