I've never actually played any Ace Attorney to be honest, even tho I could probably download them and play them on my NDS in mere minutes. Never got around to it, I guess. Are they really that good?

After I got SvC I didn't really think I'd stay, hence the 6 month break, but it became habit to check the boards every now and then. We need Random_Guy, Violence and Dreamcastlover back damn it... And Gamecop, I've only two complaints about 1emu and when they'll be resolved, I'll consider the site to be back in the "golden age" era. These are the incessant censorship and banning the linking to ROMs. Until then, the site is still in it's bad moment for me.

As a super-being I'd probably be an immortal Paladin with great healing spells (fvck off AIDS/cancer/anything), angel wings for flight, 6th sense that tells me when people are in trouble, teleportation, resurrection in case the victim had a violent and untimely death. Also I'd be able to withstand just about any assault because, hey, I'm a Paladin, and we don't die. As a regular guy I'd be a benevolent dictator whose country is the epitome of health, freedom, democracy (except for leadership, because I'd never be deposed) and leading producer of pharmaceuticals and cures for every disease. It'd also be so powerful as to repel any invasion, and have specialized task forces that go and assassinate evil dictators around the world and bring their countries to order and happiness. Another task force would hunt down all secret organizations bent on evil world domination around the world, brutally murder them and dissolve their puppet governments and forces. Also I'd rule it for many centuries because of a specialized cloning program I set up for myself and most trusted friends and companions. My people would come to resemble elves as well. Did I mention this would all happen in an alternate world where all kinds of fantasy races exist in a peaceful co-existence during these ages. And you're all invited for drinks.

I think what megaman is trying to say is that he prefers not to level-up his perception skill. Fair enough, different people have different methods. Me, I do most of the stuff that's listed in the man vs woman link. Especially the slow, soft speaking I think. Never hurts to be a huggy bear also.

SVC Chaos Took a 6 month break almost from the beginning then came back. Used to post like 100+ posts a day when skipping school. Another break. Then lurking until this day. You never really now when I might pop up next.

Well 360 has like 2-3 years left anyway. A PS3 has a great long life in store for it. And with a BD-rom incorporated, I'm pretty sure a lot of 360tards will be buying a PS3 in the end anyway.

you're money sounds so funny. Funny thing is, it's not even mine. Back home in Romania, we use lei (translation: lions ). But I'm pretty much indistinguishable from the average brit, language-wise and I adopted most of the slang as well.

Personally I think we should be given the option when playing console games. Select a perfect arcade port or the fixed version in the options menu. That would make everyone happy.

I love the way you completely skewered me here. I wish I'd have put more thought in my previous post... sigh... I don't really know and I'll grab all 3 consoles anyway in the end, so I don't really care about who has what and which is better or other nonsense. Collectors never do anyway. One thing though, I was referring to console options in my last line. For instance, the 360 Live thingie costs, and I, for instance, have an aversion to almost anything that requires me to shelve money from my pocket. The PS3 is attractive here because its thingie is free. I wasn't talking about games and whatnot. Also, PS3 will support a mouse and keyboard, so yet again, another attractive reason to grab it. 360 should keep up and introduce their own keyboard and so far. I can finally play FPS games without bursting some blood vessels because of the crappy controller being utterly and gigantically crap for those kinda games, and I can finally play all the great fighting games the way they were supposed to be played, with a great keyboard.

Because we're talking about games, not movies. Movies run the same and we get the same deal, quality-wise, feature-wise, etc. no matter which format we use. Because each console is a different experience. Because movies will run on just about any player. Games will not. And games > movies. For movies we just want to see it quick and hassle free. We actually have high expectations from the games we buy. Because the movie industry is in decline, while gaming is only getting larger. And I suppose because of a lot of other more relevant reasons I really can't think about. Sure, it would be great to use only one system for all the games out there, but we'd get milked into oblivion because of no competition.

He means private servers which are = phail. Defeating the purpose of a MMORPG, heh. My WoW experience was mediocre to very frustrating for the almost 3 years I played. I played as a Paladin, a completely aimless, badly designed, piss poor class up until 2 months ago. Stuck it out for 3 years, got shaft after shaft then I simply quit because there's only so much crap someone can take before being fed up. Very few moments were actually enjoyable. I've quit for almost 3 months now, never felt better. And I was way too casual for the amount of money I spent on it, just like Tynvar. On the flip side, I've made many friends, people I still keep in contact with. Even tho I quit the game I am still a member of my old guild, because it's greater than WoW. People still ask me about playing my class, because I am still relatively knowledgeable in it, and I'm glad to dispense advice. Regarding the marriage thing, that's not even close to bad. I've heard a story about a family who left their 2 baby children to starve, bills unpaid, derelict house just to play WoW. They only ever got out of the house to buy cigs. How fvcking irresponsible is that? Given the chance to recuperate my 3 years though, I'd not really take it, because of the people I met. However I would probably play a different class, even though I still adhere to Paladin principles and it's part of me now.

Domination = bad. Real bad. Stupid really. The concept that you my friends should grasp is assimilation. Get both, hell, all 3. It does cost like hell but the advantages of being able to access all the exclusives and choosing the version you like from the multi-platformers beats anything. This is great news. Competition = win. Once the PS3 sorts out it's interweb access, I sure hope it will force the 360 into makings its free.

Depends on the games I guess. Some games can be so linear, there's not much you can do to make the experience better. But on the other hand, I try cornering myself in video games after I've just attracted massive aggro or enemies about to close in on my position and see if I can pull it off. Great fun if I manage to do it, takes the piss out of the regular repetitive killing.
