  1. Bob looks like me in 20 years rofl. I still hate fat characters xD. Especially Chang and Cheng. Or Jack from AoF. But Bob might be an exception And I can't see any boobs on Leo. And yeah, he/she does look like a Rock/Yuki ripoff.+ edit: Bob's story is stupidly retarded in so many ways it hurts... edit2: nevermind I think I saw a hint of boobage on Leo's pic. and the lips look feminine enough for me.
  2. In order for other people to feel good about themselves, they have to put down others. Now, just because you're younger than them and/or a little airheaded or whatever (making assumptions here), you're the prime target. People are and will always be complete cretinoidic morons. Don't mind, in the end they're the retards for going "oh, she can't read so I better explain it to her because I'm such a hot crap"...
  3. epic fail with the girl trying to look cool playing guitar hero
  4. I didn't say she was a rip-off. And she's in. I just said she looks like (red hair mostly is what made me attribute it), but she looks more Beatrice-like with the business suit and gloves. Hair: checl Tie: check Business pants: check shirt like vanessa: check formal pants: check gloves like vanessa: check only thing different she's got is the glasses, hair style, a bit of boobage, fire-based attacks and a lame name
  5. Ya know, bro, if the film's good, I'll watch it again in the best quality available on the net. Otherwise, I could care less. That just sounds like "watch my movies that way, so you can better see the good parts, so that rest of it doesn't look that crappy". While I'm not pro watching movies on mobile phones, who the fvck is? I mean, the only movies I watched like that, were on my iPod or PSP, and there's a lot of difference.
  6. I don't make silly distinctions like that. "real games" and and emulated games are still all the same, games, great or lame, hard or easy, fun or retarded, it's all the same. I just finished Legacy of Kain: Defiance and now I was playing CVS2 on nullDC. It's all the same really.
  7. is she in the game or what? and yes, she does look like a vannessa rip-off
  8. That's true but the "bozo" scenario happens either way. That's really besides the point, considering we're asking just to allow the linking to warehousing sites. As well as the fact that I'm not advocating doing whatever we want with the developer's work, I'm simply saying that we should be able to actually play with it, in this case, play with the characters/stages etc., because I still fail to see how, by simply making the developer's work more widespread and available, we'd be automatically disrespecting and discrediting him etc.
  9. the animations are fvcking horrible. horrible hadouken posture, ken's taunt posture is simply idiotic... this is looking BAD. and have they changed the voice actors?! ryu sounds younger lol
  10. Ya know, he kinda failed to put out some reasons as to why it would be "such a sadness"...
  11. Think I'll hit the London high street shops when I get there. Until then I'll do some net searching myself
  12. Since I'm not that much of a MUGEN aficionado, my opinion may be silly but so far I doubt that hosting their work without their permission would cause them to disappear completely. As I see it, when an author gets tired of updating his characters or other MUGEN work, he leaves it on his site. After a while that site may go down because of hosting costs. Then those works become extremely hard to get and in the end, isn't that the purpose anyway? It's certainly very sad when great characters disappear because of their creator's lack of interest. Let's be realistic here, no one is going to sue anyone for hosting their MUGEN works, simply because 80% of them are sprite rips that actually belong to a real company, hence not the MUGEN developer's original property. That's why MUGEN developers don't actually sell their works. They'd get a bunch of legal problems in heartbeat from the actual owners. On the other hand this doesn't stand for completely original MUGEN characters like the late Reuben Kee's Dragon Claw character. That's actually 100% original and copyrighted. Not sure how the climate is around major sprite edits tho, like making a character from Ryu's stance sprite but completely redrawing it inside so it looks like something else, only with Ryu's outline. Regarding the existence of warehouse sites that would detere MUGEN developers from releasing their work, I fail to see how they'd actually do that.
  13. most favorite (not in any particular order) '98 for the old school classic KoF feel. Greatness 2k for the roster and freshness 2k2 because it's just great least favorite: '97 '99 Neowave (PS2 version has 3D backgrounds, I hate that. and the music is crappy) I haven't played XI enough yet, my PS2's collecting dust. And I have mixed feelings about the new system. This goes for 2k3 too. Also 2k3 screwed up some commands to make them look like in CVS2, and I hate CVS2. And even though it's not KoF, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum is one of my most favorite SNK games.
  14. Not cool/stylish/kickass enough for me sadly. Ionno. Just too wide I guess. And no Alexis, I'm not really looking into fannypacks or backpacks. Just manbags. Or messenger bags that aren't god awful wide.
  15. You could interpret it like that but I was referring to faith in a greater being. Your second statement is somewhat odd, but if it helps you life go for it I guess
  16. My sentiments exactly. It's quite similar to emulation if you ask me.
  17. I understand megaman is against the practice of linking warehousing sites, for obvious reasons. However I wish to change that. That decision was made by him and I am personally against it. We should really comment on this however, just to give this poll a start, I'll leave it at that. Also, to clarify, warehousing sites are sites that host M.U.G.E.N. developers' works without asking their permission first. This would include characters, stages and other MUGEN-related works. I am pro warehousing sites because many great characters are lost because their original creators' sites often go down without further notice and it becomes increasingly difficult if not impossible for the common M.U.G.E.N. user to get a hold of them. Naturally, this would not go against the rule that states that, should you release a mugen creation, you'd have to ask for the author's permission to release the game in the first place. Discuss. edit: I accidentally null voted instead of voting for Yes. 1emu really needs a "view results" that doesn't destroy your right to vote. so remember to add 1 to the yes votes always when counting.
  18. I can't even tell the difference, but it needs to be small, and not fat.
  19. Yeah so I've been thinking of getting myself a manbag, or whatever they're called. Small one, nothing fancy, has to house cell, smokes, weed, lighter, a small digital camera, maybe wallet, some wet tissues, condoms and my iPod. Any suggestions/links to a suitable one? It also has to have a long strap so it can sag all the way down near my ass. Problem is, I don't know any producers of such bags. And please, no D&G, Armani or any of that crap. Maybe something similar to items you'd find in a skateshop.
  20. Like I was saying, ladies' choice yo, get rid of them briefs, they're made for kiddies. Boxers and b.briefs ftw.
  21. Wonder what kinda game would play on that, other than Pong and maybe Prehistoric Tetris.
  22. Let me clarify what I meant for you Davis by quoting from L.S.D. "Faith is an individual journey." I too refuse to adhere to organized religion too much. I have not read the Bible, nor plan to in the near future. Understand that misfortune does not come from God/Allah, because he does not intervene, nor will he intervene to fix it for us. These are trials that we face as humans, that we must overcome, in order for us to evolve spiritually. Personally, I see people who blame religion for their misfortune as having missed the point of the lesson. Belief is a strong power my friend, I just wish many of you could see this. When I pray to God, very rarely I might add, I only pray for health for my family. That is the most important thing. Health. We have the power to do anything we wish. That is true power, and faith, alongside other things, is a powerful support to help us achieve our desires. Unlike most Christians, I do not shun desire. I believe desire is a neutral driving force. Sadly, most people use this force to achieve evil or selfish goals. I try to channel this into achieving skills, and helping my family and friends. "Faith is an individual journey" regardless of what faith you belong to. Following your line of reasoning, people who wish to love and be loved are also weak, because they try to achieve something which isn't real but spiritual. While I feel sad that you've missed the point of religion, so to speak, I will never indulge in trying to forcefully shove my beliefs unto you or anyone else because that would go against my principles, rules I set for myself in life with the aid of faith, common sense, and many other factors. Those who do that are however unsure and insecure of their faith and need other people to play along so they feel better about themselves and to back up their ideas. They too have missed the point of faith. I hope my little rant helped you a bit
  23. Regardles, R.I.P. Reuben Kee. Great man, that fellow. His OC Remix of Ryu's theme on a piano is kickass.
