No but they do have the defense to make up for it and the early tech rise to get there. Storm Spires and Storm riders are the most awesome when it comes to defense. as for ground forces Shock Troopers annihilate most vehicles and aircraft and are cheaper then zone troopers. storm riders will also be getting a price reduction and improved damage in ion storms (provided by spires hehe) so you really defend and attack with them only scrin also have the cash flow if you know how to play right to get to about 20 storm riders before you get to 6-7 mammoths and into my base

You know I'm not really scared about it all that much. I have friends in England thanks to WoW, who would help me with anything I would need (hell, even marijuana). And even so I see it as something really fun! My future is looking bright, at least in the next 3 years!

I find it easier with GDI to turtle for a few minutes and get Mammoths than to do anything else if I get scorpioned. I never manage to outproduce them or defend expansions for long against Nod early, but even if they have a larger economy by the time I get Mammoths out they still cant do sh.t all about it most of the time. So damn true it hurts... Once you get 5+ mammoths out it's game over... Unless you're Scrin and have 50 Stormriders like I usually do!

Pretty much agree. Also if you happen to play 3v3, you can have laser gen build all your defense while you and someone else concentrates on offense, one of the best strats that has worked for me (heh, I'm old school China, and sometimes China-Nuke, works fine). Also @ battle busses, there's an old saying for that, and it's called the Bang Bus, fill em with RPGs and anyone is pretty much screwed in mid field battles. especially if you can keep the buses repaired throughout the fighting. china-nuke here too, lots of migs and battlemasters hehe

I believe we're all agreed on not deleting threads, regardless of how old they are. Archived is the best way, I mean it's just text anyway, how big can it be. Thread revivals with "dude, your totally rite" should not be locked imo but instead have the reviver warned would be my solution. Enough warnings would ensue a warning I feel that when a topic is revived by any member (not just the topic starter) and he has something really worthwhile to add to it then it's fine by me. Kudos if he can get the thread started again. People don't necesarilly have to read the year-old posts, but ultimately they'd better understand what the topic is about if they read about it. New threads on the same topic is a bad idea imo. I strongly believe that mods/admins should not lock an old thread if a good response was posted as this could lead to a revival and spark more conversation, which is the point of a forum... members have to judge for themselves if it's worthy or not of revival and other members shouldn't be pissed if someone revives an old topic because no one forces them to post in the first place.

personally I'd have nothing against them if they weren't communist... take it from a guy living in an ex-communist country, it sucks....

not if it's only open to people with 100+ posts Might open it up to spammers instead if they were aware of it? 100 posts of crap, but not strictly spam, would be easy to come up with- we've had new users here over the last month or so that racked up that many in a day or less. yeah I agree, we had that here in the past actually... but if you set the bar up a little higher, say 1000 posts, that would discourage them I reckon

shows how much you know about it game design is a broad subject dude.... programing requires math, and programing's just a specialization you take in the second year... there's other specializations like 3D modeling and crap, and even so they train you from scratch anyway for the time being I'm only worried about getting there. my parents said I can always change my mind along the road and come back to study something else

So this year was very frustrating for me because I didn't know where my future was heading and I had to take a crapload of tests and crap. I'm still at it but I'll be done by august hopefully. It was the most stressing period of my life really. and now I've chosen to go to England and study game designing in Cambridge for 3 years. It's great but I have no experience whatsoever in the subject. Luckily it's not really needed and I hope that I'll be able to learn everything that's needed. I'm so very lucky to be backed up financially completely by my parents on this one. Imagine that, I'll be making the games that will rape your kid's and jack thompson's mind! edit: finished the post

mine was a X-men vs Street Fighter challenge and I had my usual evil team (Bison and Akuma). this was in a class room, wasn't exactly arcade, but emulated but we drew the entire class hehe and I managed to win most of the games... was fun and nostalgic. can't wait till I get to college

I think I was saying something similar all day before seeing it. I liked Dead Man's Chest too. But all the fun was gone from this one... its a real shame. dead man's chest was great. the 1st was also freakin great. but I really wanna see this one and I hope it will be great.
