  1. Hmm, thanks for the advice. I'm confused though, as I know see we might be talking about a different kind of activation. In fact, what I was thinking of was VALIDATION, the one that M$ forces you to do in order to download crap from their site. Sorry for the mix-up. I'm actually looking for one that will pass this validation just fine. Also, are there any drawbacks to not activating your copy? I don't think I've ever activated one. I wouldn't want a SP3 slipstream really, primarily because I don't know how to do it. I'd rather just try and find the latest complete Windows SP3 build released by M$. I don't know if I managed to portray my idea exactly. Just think of it as if they're releasing an entirely new Windows that's always been this version and doesn't contain any of the obsolete or deprecated files and bloat of previous releases. edit: would an RTM version count as the one I'm looking for?
  2. Hiya, I've got a few questions regarding Windows XP. I've been googling just the right version for my PC and stuff. So yeah, here I go blurting. What kind of Windows XP doesn't require a serial key but still passes the validation check and will install and update just fine? Also, what kind does not contain any form of WGA check/nag screen? Can an "N" version be achieved by nLiting? Or would that require more in-depth knowledge? Is there any official M$ disc that comes with complete SP3 integration? Not talking about one that used to be a SP2 and then got SP3 slipstreamed into it, I'm talking about a CD issued directly from M$ with the latest compiled version of Windows SP3? Also is there a version which has all languages supported and completely up-to-date? Would an RTM count as a key-less version? So yeah, basically I'm looking for a Windows XP Pro SP3 N latest build with no key requirements and no WGA with none of the drawbacks. Mind sound crazy, but you never know. Preferably one that doesn't require any sort of hacks or cracks but has those requirements completely removed from the system. Directions would be appreciated.
  3. This having nothing to do with the topic, but am I the only one who can't fullscreen HD vids on gametrailers? Having both used Firefox 2 pre-format, and now Firefox 3, neither will fullscreen the vids. WTF?
  4. Would Johnny Depp be considered a better Deadpool? I'm inclined to think so, at least if this adaptation turns out to be faithful to the comics.
  5. Driver Magician has already yielded some results. Hope Driver Genius Pro will be able to fill in the rest. Cheers.
  6. You know they won't. He's going to have some pretty gayed up powers if you ask me. Might not even have his stick.
  7. If you're like me, you usually want the latest drivers for your rig. And you're willing to spend eons to get them. Nowadays, it's a gigantic pain in the bunghole if you try and look for very specific drivers. All you'll find are all these forums and whatnot that charge exorbitant amounts of money to link to you to other people's works like driverguide.com. It's preposterous. Every lughead can find an nVidia driver. But finding something like Integrated OHCI IEEE 1394 Host Controller by O2Micro is an arduous and painful task. My question is, are there any FREE sites that offer the same services as driverguide or a proggie that faithfully identifies your drivers and looks them up on a free database with no strings attached?
  8. Which happened in the previous games really. Everyone just didn't seem different enough. Never helped that there was only one voice for males and females each as well. Characters lacked personality a lot. For all the fighting stances introduced, they all looked so similar it was annoying. Did you play DA or Deception? Y/N If yes; While they looked similar, they handled differently in damage, timing and flavor. The key word there is looked. While in the past MK games (MK1 to Gold) everyone HAD the same normals. Same animation, damage, timing. The only difference between characters were Special Moves and Special Normals compared to DA and Deception. NOW it looks and feels like that from watching the videos. They even have the same enders, like the leg trip. Most of them thus far even have TELEPORTS. FRIKING TELEPORTS. If no; 1. Play DA and Deception 2. Compare the damage of normals. 3. Take notes. 4. ??? 5. PROF... No. I've played DA extensively and a bit of D. Gameplay-wise, yes, they handled differently. But that didn't stop them from looking the same in most cases. They all FELT like the same model with a different texture. And yeah, what the flying fvck is with all the teleports?

  10. While I couldn't agree more, it's kinda weird seeing ninjas try to hit you like some hillbilly on crack, no?
  11. Do I hear the sounds of moar QQ? 'tis all good, you're fun the way you are. Now let's play some Vampire Savior.
  12. So yeah, today I just got my results from the University of Bucharest. I applied to study Japanese. I was accepted in, just barely though. I was the semi-last dude on the list. But I'm happy and I could care less. I'm going to major in Japanese and minor in German.
  13. Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. What you actually failed to comprehend was that we understood that just fine, without needing you to flaunt your knowledge that no one else seems to posses according to you. Everyone knows what 2.5D is, and yes, we know it's impossible on a technical level. Stop being an arrogant douche and get over yourself. Learn to read buddy, what I said was "it would suck if MvC3 would be 2.5D, like SF4. That alone should enlighten you as to why your first and second post were completely unnecessary. Believe it or not, we were talking about how the game would look and play. So unless I'm mistaken and you can side step around the arena in SF4, then it's 2.5D in my book.
  14. I do want 54 characters, but fuking balance them out. Name another game that has at least 35+ characters and has been moderately balanced that everyone has a fighting chance against each other. MAH-VELL had a very limited run when released on PS2 and it was only until it was out of print it was in high demand (selling for 100 dollars now compared to 2 years ago when it barely hit 60). 2D has, from the looks of the general consensus, died. Mind you that's the art style of the game, however, if the gameplay was 2D (like Battle Fantasia, SF4, TvC) then it would appeal to more massive audience other than the core group of MAH-VELL players. I could careless for MAH-VELL other than the fact it produces great drama in the scene (dp mouthing off against WC) and it's fun as hell to watch (jwong comebacks baby! yipes commentary also) but not to play (their using Cable/Pysk/Set against your crappy team of Jill/Ruby/Amigo T_T). On that note, has ANYONE tried Battle Fantasia yet? It's like GGXX in 3D. 2.5D doesn't exist, it's a term created to cater games that are in 3D, but play in a strictly 2D plane of gameplay. Also known as "No Side Stepping". How come it doesn't exist if you just explained it? Everyone knows that, the explanation was unnecessary. 2-and-a-half-dimensional or pseudo-3D, however the hell you wanna call it, it's still a valid term.

  16. They're gonna gay it up and turn it 2.5D like SF4, I'm sure of it.
  17. I know, I've noticed that too when it comes to the aforementioned peoples. In any case, if you need a fix for the problem, just learn to speak trashglish, it's not that hard.
  18. I'd surmise so, since English is the world's top used language. It's strange for you to assume they automatically speak both English and their native language at the same basic level. Most people will speak their native language fairly well, but if the grammar is different then naturally they'd have a harder time learning English. Believe it or not, even in this day of age, not everyone has mastered its intricacies. Also, I'd like to echo fumanchu's question here. What makes you so certain the majority of people from the States are born with the knowledge that everyone else seems to be missing? It'd say that's a bit prideful and baseless really, idiocy can be found in equal quantities everywhere. Not to mention that everyone else outside the U.S. regards americans as the dumbest form of life on the planet. I'm not being conflictive here, just sharing my observations.
  19. Welcome to the Internet. Where people can be complete morons under the guise of anonymity.
  20. After recently seeing the videos Side linked of Mortal Kombat Blood Storm and having watched how the series was getting worse and worse each installment I've been inspired to finally put down some ideas I had regarding a Mortal Kombat MUGEN project of mine. At this point in time I'll just list all the kombatants. Ashrah Baraka Blaze Bo' Rai Cho Chameleon Cyrax Dairou Darrius Drahmin Ermac Frost Fujin Goro Havik Hotaru Hsu Hao Jade Jarek Jax Johnny Cage Kabal Kai Kano Kenshi Kintaro Kira Kitana Khameleon Kobra Kung Lao Li Mei Liu Kang Mavado Meat Mileena Mokap Moloch Motaro Nightwolf Nitara Noob Saibot Onaga Quan Chi Raiden Rain Reiko Reptile Sareena Scorpion Sektor Shang Tsung Shao Kahn Sheeva Shinnok Shujinko Sindel Smoke Sonya Blade Kurtis Stryker Sub-Zero Tanya Taven In addition to all these characters I will be adding: Original Sub-Zero Great Kung Lao Tremor Takeda Hornbuckle Hasashi Hanzo And some original characters once I finish all of the above, which will take me ages. I'll probably design a boss character as well, which will have two versions, a balanced, playable one and the overpowered boss version.
  21. the new definition for american negro? or a nisan?
  22. I second the motion that FF games are far-overhyped. They go by the quantity over quality approach; IE pour obscene amounts of money into the production to make sure the game is long and has awesome FMVs, if little else. With the exception of FFVIII, the stories are pretty bad, and not counting VI, VII and X, are plain horrible. They are chores to wade through, broken up by random encounters and cheesy dialogue. Your argument doesn't hold a candle against the old ones like 2,4,5 and 6. Those simply had superb storylines and you cannot argue against that. I haven't played 7 at all and just a bit of 8 so I can't comment on the rest, but the old school ones were the best.
  23. Those are NOT quick time events hehehe. Look closely, both players press them when they feel like it.
