Updates: added link to a fan wiki. Note, the details there are always subject to change. So far, I'm not liking it that much. http://www.aionsource.com/wiki/Main_Page

RAGING STORM SOUNDS COOLER! Raising Storm is more SNK-ish I suppose it was meant to be Rising Storm, instead of Raising Storm. Just be thankful it didn't turn out to be Raisin Storm. That would be the weirdest move name for the baddest boss. the anniversary website does indeed list it as "rising storm" -

Regardless of how it was first romanized it is evident from Rock's move that the developers want it to be the Raging Storm. -

That's not entirely true. If I try to press four buttons at once it starts making an annoying error beep. And I'll go try out a fighter using the keyboard. SF2 seems like a decent start. Gimme a bit. Edit: Okay, I could barely pull off a hadoken using the keyboard. That's how bad it was. Maybe if I had a better keyboard it would work, I don't know. I'm sticking to sticks. SF2 was a very bad choice. You're better off doing a SRK input to pull off a Hadouken. It's infinitely annoying for me, that game. Also, choice of emulators is a factor. Try a random KoF -

yeah, if I went any faster the game wouldn't register the storm as you can see from the times I didn't pull it off. this particular game has a very specific method to allow you to do the raging storm. -

While it looks uncomfortable, I can assure you my hands are quite relaxed. I can play like this with my feet on the table and the keyboard in my lap. Arcades are virtually unknown in my country and so are shops that sell sticks for PCs. I could order one but the price + shipping cost would be pretty high. Not to say that it's impossible, I know people with a Hori arcade stick for instance, but I'd take a keyboard over it any day. -

emulator + fraps work for ya? No, I didn't go to wikipedia to check that. Just do a google search for Raging Storm and see the results. It is raging storm, this debate has been over for at least 6 years, even Rock from Garou's move name is the same. -

I refuse to believe you can do a Raising Storm on a keyboard consistently enough for it to be useful. I am talking about the real Raising Storm btw, and not the pissy Real Bout version. And yes, it is 'Raising Storm' not Raging Storm. name a game with geese in that you want me to demonstrate the ability to do the raging storm. also, everyone knows it's raging storm, even wikipedia Also, might I add that K9999's motions for Tsuki... and Temee mo oucchimae!! are the same as the Raging Storm, so I could probably do them to prove the same point. -

yeah that is a serious issue though. thank god for macros in this case. imagine having to do a qcfx2+ABCD, you'd never pull it off. -
Sonic and... the Black Knight?
Sybarite Paladin AxL replied to BlackKnight's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
True, but I just hate the concept of Mario and Mario and all his crew should die a slow and painful death in a field full of corpses that Chaos Space Marines tend to. So yeah, Sonic ftw! -

As long as that annoying fart of a Mario's still alive, Sonic will crusade on. -

I beg to differ. The RAGING Storm is piss easy. 360s and 720s are also easy. Vega and Guile supers are trickier but not that much of a challenge. They'd be easier to pull if you didn't have to hold DB 2 seconds really. I'm saying this because out of everyone here, I'm the only one with about 5 years of keyboard usage for all my emulated games, online or otherwise. You don't need 5 years to do all of those, just a minuscule amount of practice. Here's another thing. Me and Mago play a lot. Usually for hours. After about 3 hours of continuous play, his hands start hurting very much because of the dang blasted controller. My hands on the other hand are perfectly fine and could go on indefinitely. I for one would take firstly a keyboard or secondly a stick over controllers any day, I hate them when it comes to fighting games. Someone said keyboards were crap after a minor amount of testing with a fighting game, and everyone else just jumped on the band wagon. Give it a shot really, for more than 10 minutes. Once you have a day's worth of playing on it, firstly offline and then online you'll start appreciating it. -

Because? Because the keyboard is a terrible input device for just about everything. The mouse is nice for FPS and RTS games, but some people even prefer a controller for their FPS'. It all boils down to personal preference really. I'd use a keyboard for just about anything except God of War-type games where I prefer a controller. -
The scenes that seemed to be cut short will be probably elongated in a director's cut version.

Am I just that lazy or is there no scene release, not even a crummy cam as of yet?

Yes. It's very unlikely that the casual gamer will buy the PC version as the PC version is meant for the hardcore guys, those who have sticks and controllers for PC. So you're saying that if you don't have a stick or controller you're not "hardcore"? -

are the wrestling chars still stuck with 360 motions? I'm sure PC users that don't have extensive kaillera keyboard training such as myself will find it difficult.
