  1. The 8500, wanna trade me for your X300? Sheesh.......My 8500 is like 5 years old.
  2. I plan on playing it with my 8500. 320x240 16bit color w/uber ultra low detail + wireframe!
  3. I'm pretty sure theres some in English. But that was more just a stab at the way overupdated emulator that is MAME. They release new versions far too often, and most of the time with nothing of interest even to an avid collector.....obscure garbage.
  4. Yeah......a new PC to run Vista, just so one can play Halo 2. I think the more rational choice is buying a 360 to play Halo 2 with enhanced resoultions n stuff. Or even less expensive, an Xbox 1.
  5. Multiple Arcade Mahjong Emulator
  6. Lite? I'd say more like Albino. - Ladies and gentleman, please give a warm welcome to the Albino DS! He'll soon be joining all those folks at the Nintendo hospital you see on commercials, for treatment of his condition. P.S. He prefers to be called "Pigmentally challenged"
  7. Buy? HAHAHA! Liar liar pants on fire, I know you modded your Cube recently. Ok, I know you could be serious. If I didn't already own the PSX version AND the PC version, both of which I paid good money for, I'd have bought it too.......but try explaining paying money for a 3rd copy of a game to your wife.
  8. Shut up, post more pics! No speak! Pics!
  9. Ebay DOES remove things that get reported. I've had at least 5 auctions ended, and 1 user I know of banned.
  10. WRONG! All the same people did the voices, save for the guy who did Grey Fox/The Ninja. It's done by a different person and sounds terrible. The voiceovers were also completely redone and for the most part have far less polish to them than they did in the original, much less feeling put into the work and you can definitely hear it.
  11. Yeah and the soundtrack sucks compared to the original, so do the voice-overs. Other than that it's awesome.
  12. Only the feminist, closed-minded square ones! My wife thinks they're hot.
  13. I give this thread a ONE! Why, you ask? No pr0n!
  14. Dude, now you're talkin. Theres some hot ass right there.
  15. Yeah they were nice when you had a small hard drive and wanted a rip because it was smaller than installing a full game. MYTH always did the best ones too, I remember getting a RIP of Deus Ex that was missing practically nothing and they had UHARC'd it to some insanely small size with a cool unpacker/installer. Once larger drives started coming out though, and installing a few 500MB-1GB games wasn't an issue though, RIPs were a big no-no for me.
  16. As far as I remember, disc one is the game and disc 2 is the VR Missions disc. I'm guessing you have a cheapskate RIP if it's only 240MB, probably missing music. I've seen that RIP before.
  17. I have this and I have this to say about it....... PC version is smoother looking than the PSX version, period. The graphics just look better. Theres no copy protection on the game per-say. As far as I remember you DO need the disc in the drive, be it real or a virtual drive. I think it requires some files that remain on the disc even with a full install. If the game is blocky looking, play the damn PSX version if you can't remember how blocky that was. Compared to todays games (And MGS2) it's VERY blocky, Snake doesn't have a face FFS....just a blur really. It should still look crisper and smoother however. Having a newer machine is irellevant, even my PC is far beyond the minimum requirements for this game. This isn't a DOS game we're talking about, where the HAL is an issue.
  18. Whatchoo talkin 'bout Willis? That period of time is ALWAYS! You can go out and buy/build a new PC, and next week every god damn part in it is outdated. It's always been that way and always will be. Being outdated is only bad if you can't take care of your PC and the software contained within. I'm like way outdated and I can still keep up, because I don't have a huge junkpile of crap putting undue strain on my machine.
  19. And I'm waiting for holographic drives. The potential for them is far greater than anything else at this time. And they're coming soon.......
  20. Seagate doesn't do any re-branding. Hitachi and IBM share the Deskstar branding, though I'm not sure which of them is the actual hardware manufacturer.
  21. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p?EdpNo=1474382 Better performing drive, and 2 of them is half the price of one of those + 100GB. Deskstar series drives are known for their rather poor reliability too.
  22. Hacked firmware abounds for everything you can possibly think of. Do you really think MS cares about the Xbox at this point? NO! Theres no legal implications of him releasing hacked firmware in the same manner modchip bios' are released, it's simply his choice because he's paranoid of legal implications. Fine, his choice, let him have it.........simple.
  23. I'm either too lazy to count all my stuff, or I just have way too much........you decide. And who cares, they need to leave us individuals alone and start publicly hanging the people who make money off piracy, especially the ones selling copies as originals.
  24. Duke who?
  25. What version of WinRar are you using? It's possible it's a WinACE archive, but even with the latest WinRAR, you could extract it.
