What Robbbert said.....and simply the fact that most people stay away from AOL. You should too if you know whats good for you (Dude you are so getting ripped off by using AOL),,but if AOL is your only option, then it's your only option. Most companies will charge you an extra connection fee if it's not part of your contract. This really only pertains to dialup. With broadband, if they don't want you directly connecting another PC, you simply can't obtain a 2nd IP address. Contact them and ask them before you wind up with extra charges.

Disney to acquire Pixar for $7.4 billion

*Scratches head* I thought Pixar was already a Disney subsidiary. Have they done anything that wasn't for Disney? I don't remember seeing anything. -

This thread has carried itself too long.......I give it the "Pedo Inducing" stamp of disapporoval! -
Ah so you think they're luscious huh? Tis not I who should be explaining himself!

He's got that kind of allure. Fatal should just starred in Brokeback Mountain Fatal "gay cowboy" Rose!

I was never aware the hash was 128bit, after reading the RSA Technologies website I was only under the assumption that the hash can be any given length and not necessarily the same length as the key, which is obviously a fixed length. From reading some stuff I was under the impression the key is shared between DS units when communicating with eachother in a secure mode, and that 2 DS units can play a game where only 1 of them has a copy of it, hence the need for RSA encryption to protect copyrighted content. Correct? That RSA hash has to pass through somewhere right? I was thinking maybe one of those registers might be used for storing the hash, if it was only used when the DS entered a secure mode. Isn't the signal itself RSA encrypted, or is it just the data being passed? The things I read weren't very informative. Like I already said, I don't own a DS......don't really know much about it all. Merely speculating based on what I'd found to read. Your response has sure made me feel dumb and obviously I'm WAY off the mark here.

MAME32 Removes ALL 3rd Party Joystick Config's
ken_cinder replied to Robert's topic in Emulator Releases [/emu]
Gamecop, have you EVER priced out arcade parts? I own 3 of my own boards and have purchased plenty of sticks/buttons/switches. All high quality parts from HAPP and a few from X-Arcade, they are NOT expensive. Theres a HUGE markup on these things, besides the housing for the actual components you can build a single player CP for under $15....guaranteed. That is NOT the point though. They're publicly bitching and knocking MAME32 because they removed the configs. If what you say is true regarding customers coming from elsewhere, then why the crying/bitching fit? Customers know where to find them (X-Arcade) anyway. Oh and as for the Controller Config in Windows, thats a hell of alot different than a 3rd party piece of software. We're talking an operating system here that is entirely responsible for handling the hardware interface. MAME isn't responsible for having the nessecary drivers installed for your controller to work, AND your controller will work in MAME without having these config files in the first place...... As for them paying for advertisement on websites, of course! Who doesn't aim their product at a target audience on websites? You can't tell me that what I said isn't true for many people. If it wasn't for seeing the configs in MAME32 way back when, I would never have gone looking for the products. Specialized configs in a piece of software, knowing "Hey this thing supports this product" is more of a draw than an ad on a website for just the hardware, ESPECIALLY if you've seen the ads on the websites. The point in the end is that they are boycotting MAME32 because of this, in a very bitchy and rude manner. All of a sudden because of this MAME32 Plus! is much better and you should dump MAME32? Gee, we're not taking this personally, are we? -
MAME32 Removes ALL 3rd Party Joystick Config's
ken_cinder replied to Robert's topic in Emulator Releases [/emu]
Theres no strange reasoning, I would have scrapped it long ago. It IS free advertisement, as you CANNOT tell me without lying that after using MAME for the first time (The "first" time being the first time you actually messed with the config there) that you didn't become interested in finding out what these controllers were. I was and went on a search to find them, and sure enough came across these commercial products. Theres nothing wrong with removing them, and I'm surprised they didn't do it a long ass time ago. X-Arcade getting all pissy because they've been removed? Those f**ckers make a crap quality product for starters, secondly maybe they should not be so spiteful and maybe PAY for some inclusion/advertising. Make a damn donation to the MAME team with some cash or free products. They make enough money off their disgustingly overpriced garbage controllers as-is. Or at the very least saying "Thanks for the free advertisement. Guess we'll have to provide our customers with a config now". Instead they pull a cry-baby fit because they know damn well that most of their sales would never have happened without curious users of MAME searching out this controller they've never heard of thats in the MAME config. What this is, is nothing but low-ball crybaby biatch whining on their part. I now outright boycott X-Arcade. -
Oh yeah, pay money to put yourself at risk.....while sleeping even nonetheless. I don't care how safe it is by engineering standards, it's stupid. The only reason it's being built is the same reason all stupid things get built. "Because we can", nothing more.

NEW Final Night 3 on the XBOX360 Pictures!

Umm Drake, 480i is standard definition television. ie: Every TV supports it, 640x480 interlaced. The only TVs that don't, are ancient. -

ken_cinder replied to Alpha's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Yep, even in 1080p (1920 x 1080 and omething the 360 doesn't support) the image is very much upscaled. However, with it being upscaled, even with some of the best utilities out there......at 1280 x 720 (720p) it will look just as good. 1080i may be higher res, but it's still interlaced......interlacing is teh suck, HDTV or not. -
Not that I posess the tools to do so (Or a DS for that matter) but has nobody even attempted to tap the bus between the CPU and the Wifi chipset on the daughterboard? If decryption is done somewhere in the Wifi chipset and then data sent to the CPU, it's very possible to steal the key simply by sniffing the bus on either end while checks are in progress. sgstair would probably have the best knowledge here, and as I stated I don't even own a DS, let alone one I'd be willing to rip apart to play with. The idea alone excites me though. 0x5F60 ? Used for something, not included in the rx circular buffer. (ssid maybe?) The 4 following registers are for WEPKEY, maybe it's possible this register (Or another unknown for that matter) is used for RSA Hash? Correct me if I'm way off the mark here. Are the WEPKEY registers 32Bit? That unused one would be the most probable one for security reasons to be using for an RSA hash, rather than a 16 bit register. Also being that it's not inside the Rx circular buffer would make sense, as the location of any given byte in a circular buffer depends entirely on previous traffic, the RSA hash CANNOT be handled out of order, or it's null and void.

No movie could suck as bad as the possibility of whats been rumoured for at least a year now. A Metroid movie. My favourite game series ever, but can you make a movie out of it? NO! There is no dialogue save for in Fusion where you're presented with some occaisonal bland narration-like words from Samus and a computer. All the other games have no dialogue at all. What do you do? Add dialogue to make the movie interesting? You alienate fans of the series instantly there, because we all know SAMUS DOESN'T SPEAK!

I still don't get what people complain about with regards to Norton. The damn thing only uses 10MB of RAM with auto-protect enabled, and auto-protect is NOT a waste of resources. Not having auto-protect enabled is just plain f**king stupid. Nav's 3 processes total use 10MB or less and no CPU power on my box, which btw is a fairly outdated P4 1.4Ghz with 512MB of RAM. Hardly anything considering it's one of THE most important things to have running on your computer. Not to mention, Symantec is ontop of everything when it comes to the latest viruses. You think all these other no-name-wares are as up to date, or the first out of the gate with fixes/definitions for the latest in malware? Think again. Symantec is the industry leader for a reason. Even when using IE I've NEVER seen Norton biatch about cookies or spyware. The only thing it's bitched about is javascript exploits. You shouldn't be using IE for starters anyway (You ain't gonna find it bitching about anything another browser loads), damn POS swiss cheese.......the browser itself isn't even a browser by definition, and is an exploit in and of itself. When dealing with offline files (Stuff I already know is ok) I disable auto-protect so it's not scanning files I'm moving around. Other than that I don't see what the problem is, if your computer is "freezing" because Norton has caught something, your issues lie not within your antivirus, but your own damn habits. I haven't had a virus even get near my PC in years. Stop using a suck-ass browser, stop downloading garbage you aren't sure about, and clean up your bloated ass PC. Sorry for the rant, but I really believe problems with Norton (And other major software pieces of some importance) are USER ERROR. Nobody I know including myself that has a half a clue how to keep their machine running clean and smooth ever has any problems.

Should posts in Forum Attack section count?
ken_cinder replied to Robert's topic in Suggestions Box [/feedback]
It can easily be removed from being seen, but for all intents and purposes of use (For the attack system etc) it needs to remain. I could edit it out of being shown in a matter of seconds, but even though I have the power to, physical alterations to anything more than member related stuff is Gamecop's call. Same reason why I haven't increased the "Latest Posts" from 6 to 10 like was requested awhile back. I'm all for it, but it's not my call. Edit: Gamecop is going to change Latest Posts to 10, but he wants post count to remain. Not like the latter change really matters.......mind you it would speed up page loads, since it's one less database entry to query for. -
You also still don't have an INPUT on a laptop without a capture card. You have a VGA output, so that you can hook your laptop up to a desktop monitor/TV with VGA Input. Buying a VGA adapter would do you no good. Get a capture card or buy a portable LCD. Those are really your only choices.

I'm using Firefox, and no way in hell am I even opening IE. I currently have it setup so that as soon as it loads, the content advisor requests a password (* for blocked URL). That POS downloads viruses and spyware without even opening a webpage. Cookies are blocked for everything that isn't explicitly allowed in Firefox though, I never thought of this last night. Seems that was the problem. I'm not interested whatsoever in any of the offers I would have to complete, why can't these kinds of things have any offers that don't suck ass? -
I wouldn't say hardwired is just as reliable as wireless. Wireless technology is still utter garbage these days. Even within ones own home, hell in the same room, you can suffer signal loss between devices. Hardwired all the way........I'll never touch wireless.

Mispelling of Phoenix Down. Is currently spelled Pheonix Down. Oh and on and added note, the ATKShop is useless. This attack system needs more......it's so bland I can't be bothered playing. One should have to purchase weapons to use them too, not just get em based on their level.
