  1. Is that by choice, or are you just deprived? You have no idea what you're missing (Provided the steak is a good cut, I've had penty of garbage steaks that should have made it into the ground beef pile.......)
  2. Steak should be rare, or medium rare. Anything more is overcooked and too damn dry. Underdone and still practically saying "Moo!" is gross, I cannot understand why rich people seem to think Prime Rib is the sh!t. I had a company BBQ where it was catered, we had Prime Rib.......everyone complained and asked that there never be catering again.
  3. I too have no doubt the rumours are circa SmartXX........the only problem with that is the SmartXX team is a bunch of f**king morons. Don't you know theres a v1.7 Xbox, and they discovered it? The problem with that, is that it's just a 1.4 with lacquer over some chips. I'll be hard pressed to believe ANYONE has run any unsigned code or backups until someone spills the beans on how the Hypervisor functions (On a technical level!) or how they've managed to trick/bypass the Hypervisor. Until then, everything out there is bullsh!t. btw, this "news" is like 2 weeks old, and nothing has surfaced since then.
  4. The 50000+ is only the allocated space for game data in the UDATA/TDATA folders. Why in the hell do you even care what it says? If you're modded, you certainly have other options for managing things on your HD, if you're not modded..........why the hell are you even asking this question? Well nm that........ #1 thing you need to know is: Not all Xboxes have 10GB drives, only the Seagate drives are 10GB. The other drive models are 8GB. #2: Only around 4GB is allocated to the E drive where the U/T folders are located, the rest goes to the C drive for system stuff (Your dash etc) and the X, Y and Z drives (Temp.......for caching etc) #3: If you're still seeing 50000+ blocks left, you shouldn't even be bothered worrying about how much space you have left. If you're curious though, you'll need to mod that box to find out just how much space there really is. #4: 1 block = 64KB (50000 Blocks = 3200000kb/1024 = 3125MB) Makes sense when I told you theres around 4GB of space in the user drive "E" right? 50000+ means theres more than that much. According to what you posted, you have 12GB of save data.........you're reading something wrong.
  5. Here you go! "View Source" works wonders, mind you I had to jump two hoops to get to the file itself.
  6. Buy an Atari 2600......and stop asking others to decide for you! If you can't make up your mind, play both (rent or something), you know this will just become an opinionated fagboy flamewar like the rest of us do. I don't see why people ask these things, make your own decisions based on what you like........to hell with what ANYONE else thinks.
  7. We have been evolving over the last few centuries.........just in minor ways that don't seem significant. There are some things we are not as susceptible to anymore that we were a thousand years ago, and I don't mean diseases that have been erradicated by the use of drugs. People live longer on average than they did just one hundred years ago, and this is not entirely thanks to medical practices. The average human lifespan is longer period. Plenty of other small insignificant things. You'll never be around to "witness" a major change, they don't occur as a major change.........thats called a mutation lol
  8. Optional software, theres no need for it to be a requirement. It doesn't do anything that the Control Panel doesn't do pretty much. ATi isn't into the bloatware, and would be stupid to force users to have CC installed, I won't use it.......I have no need for it.
  9. Control Center #1 Requires you have the.NET framework installed. So make sure you have the latest. #2 You need to have administrator priviledges, if you aren't logged in as an Admin.......do so. Though I would assume you are, as you can't install/uninstall drivers and system software without being one. Theres always the possibility theres a bug in the latest Control Center. Revert to a previous version.
  10. AxL, first off I wasn't "flaming", as with any part of the staff, it's my job to make sure the content here is suitable for everyone, be it an issue of legality or otherwise. Abbreviating a game name in the busiest forum we have here, means only you and a select few know what the thread is about, which isn't fair....because neither I nor anyone else should have to sift through a bunch of "GGBBA released!" threads to find something worth reading. Secondly, if you can't have some respect for others here......especially the staff, I WILL suspend your ass indefinetely. I'm tired of seeing you trash talk anyone you feel like just because you aren't in agreement with something they say. Oh and btw, I'm not really fond of fighting games, but given the chance I will try new ones out because I may just like em. I enjoy Soul Calibur 2, even though I didn't really like the first one.
  11. I'm still hating this post, and judging by the people who responded here with actual related replies......it's some sort of fighting game. Like the rest of us even have a fuxing clue what "NGBC" is, hows about making threads that aren't utterly useless to everyone that isn't in the "awesome know" and using an actual game name instead of a 4 letter abbreviation?
  12. You got me good there partner. You are correct, and even if cellphones don't cause cancer, I'd like to know why they cause headaches everytime I use one. I'm not saying they don't. But to actually reference all these things, and have them be at the forefront of your thoughts when using them......you are fearful on some scale, of everyday things that you shouldn't be. There are side effects to eating too much of your favourite food, but you still eat it often don't you? We all know what the truly harmful things in life are, such as drugs and alcohol for example.
  13. Theres lots of studies proving everything. From the use of tinfoil (aka Aluminum Foil) causing alzheimers, to eating cookies causes your ears to grow long and pointy. Anything you can dream up, I bet you can find on Google, and if you can't find a funded study done on it........you can bet you'll find a bunch of topics by people who believe in it.
  14. Thats "Suffering AND Disease" Oh and just because that link says a study shows Tylenol is the leading cause of liver disease, doesn't make it true. How many "studies" do you think have said cell phones cause brain cancer. If that were true, the sheer ammount of time I (And pretty much everyone in todays world) spend in an EMF (Like 90% of my day!) caused by electronics in general, we'd all be dying of "Cancer of the everything" Psshaw! Oh btw, Tinfoil causes Alzheimers. So put your tinfoil hat on, and you won't remember getting brain cancer. Eheheehee!
  15. But what about someone like myself who has multiple PCs? One of which is pretty much a central server for me for whatever my needs are in that department. Wouldn't something like this be of use to stream games over from my server? I'm sure it would, but the real question is, are there any benefits of any kind that I couldn't get with simply mounting a network drive instead?
  16. The only thing you have is Panthophobia
  17. You mean PVC..... Anyway, I too don't think they're real after a second look. Looks like photoshop work, the lighting is just all wrong. Theres a shine on the sword(s) from a light source of some sort, but every other area in each picture is utterly void of any lighting whatsoever? Also in the 4th picture, it looks like it's been overlayed on something from a drawing (an anime perhaps?) as that is NOT a real foot, have a close look.......it's cartoonish.
  18. He's not just onto something, thats what it is. It's a CDVD plugin, meaning PCSX2 will be able to read discs from your DVD drive.
  19. You're tired of your computer freezing, so you're getting a new graphics card? Please tell me you've taken the time to diagnose the problem and actually come to the conclusion that the current card is the culprit. I hate seeing people waste money on something only to find out it wasn't the real problem to begin with.
  20. What old Resident Evil deal? Elaborate please. I always thought it was called that over here because "Biohazard" doesn't make ANY sense. Mind you theres a game for 3DO called Biohazard, I have it sitting right here.
  21. Hi2U I think is some Batman thing, pretty much guaranteed to give anyone prone to seizures.....a seizure. I looked up Workse........thats fuct up, but what animal is it?
  22. Neither are "free" per-say, but I didn't pay for em. As for resource useage, heres approximately what I remember when I first started using em....... Explorer running just shell (Taskbar, no Windows open) = 36MB RAM used Explorer with 1 File Manager window open = 41MB (This increased by around 1MB per window open) Currently Aston, my replacement shell is using 2.5MB, it usually averages 3.5, but I'm not really doing much right now (Yes your shell increases in resource useage too with other processes runing ontop of/in it. All the more reason to switch!) Directory Opus has no handles open right now, and is using 1.4MB of RAM. Opening a window to my C drive results in that memory usage increasing to only 5.4MB. Look at the resource savings alone in that. Then take into consideration that I've killed EVERY unnecesary process I possibly can. Currently I have only 29 processes runnning. Of which are my own doing, are 8 not including Aston and DOpus. Only 19 others belong to the system, 2 of those being my Antivirus. Anyone wonder now why I can get so much out of my so called "outdated" PC? With 7Zip currently eating 328MB of my RAM, the next highest process for memory useage is Firefox (Which I'm obviously using right now), the taskmanager I'm reading this off of is 3rd in line for resource useage! Hello! Oh and to answer the "What won't work" question.....Explorer doesn't NEED to work, other than that both shell and filemanager replacements do MORE than Explorer, and whatever they do that Explorer does, they do better.
  23. Thats because autorun.inf is read on access to the folder it's in.......thats why it's autorun.inf. If you want to delete it without possible problems, you either have to disable autorun or delete it from a command prompt or outside an Explorer window. Theres the other option of installing a better shell and file manager, and ditching that PoS called Explorer entirely. I for one use Aston and Directory Opus.
  24. Don't forget the ever awesome TUBGIRL!
  25. I hope that "preview" gets a massive facelift, or at least that other skins are available and that one isn't the default. It screams Half Life 2 fansite.
