  1. Oh so "Emo" means "Whiny little rich crybaby biatch"?
  2. Psst, change my title to "Ridding the world of Sony fanbitches since 2005"?
  3. You should buy this red PSP I have here. It's one I pulled from the grasp of this kid I ran over the other day cause he was walking down the road not paying attention while playing it, when he stepped out infront of the car.
  4. AHAHAHA! The CPU alone is probably worth near a grand. The new D's are retarded expensive. I too would have went with an AMD 64 CPU, Intels latest CPUs are terrible performers and nuclear furnaces in comparison. No offense Robbbert, still a way better performing system than mine.......just not "my" choice if I were to upgrade. The only way a box like that would be in that price range, is if it was some POS Dell, Compaq, HP or other store bought pile of garbage loaded with dollar store peripherals.
  5. That large of media? I wants TEH RAW!
  6. No! Read the rules, http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?act=boardrules
  7. A must read. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=27976 I have to say I agree with the ENTIRE article, and note that there is even more missing that points to the sad-ass state gaming is in. Not least of all being the younger crowds lack of any imagination whatsoever, requiring them to be spoon-fed the same ol' sh!t over and over again to make them happy and that fun = guns + boobies.
  8. To add insult to injury, I couldn't get any newer cards working on that system (Voodoo 2's, Riva TNTs, you name it) + No DirectX version past 5 would work in it, and putting in 6+ compromised the system. To clear up your RAM (?), Pentium 1 boards never supported SDRAM. The only support for SDRAM was in a single embedded chipset. The RAM you'd have in there is either regular ol' DRAM, or possibly EDO. Want to get that thing to support better hardware? Figure out what the motherboard make and model are, and update the bios to the latest revision. I'm not sure how easy that is on an old P1 board though.
  9. What you're asking is if you can mess with the emulated consoles timing and interrupts.......well you're not, but that is what you would be needing to smooth out things that are present on a real machine. Accuracy in an emulator is a GOOD thing, if it behaves the same as it does on the real thing, you know it's pretty accurate. Like Agozer said, you can't speed things up just in those areas, you'd have to remove frame limiting.......and then the whole game will run too fast. Unless an emulator has the ability to overclock part of the emulated hardware, you're SOL. And in doing so, you're asking for inaccurate emulation. Overclocking features in a few emulators I've tried, have led to creating other issues.
  10. Thats gotta hurt. I thought I was behind.......your PC is still 3x as slow as my 3rd PC I have here, a 600Mhz PIII.
  11. I'm fairly outdated.....by most peoples standards. Case: Can't remember exactly, but I think I remember something about "Colorcase", and it's midnight black. PSU: I'm not checking, but it's nothing special. Does the job well. 400w Motherboard: Asus P4T, with ThermalTake Tiger something or other cooler on the northbridge CPU: Pentium 4 1.4Ghz, with ThermalTake Indigo Orb cooler Ram: 512MB Premium Samsung PC800 RDRAM (4x128MB identical RIMMS) Video Card: ATi Radeon 8500 (64MB) Sound Card: Creative Soundblaster Live! MP3+ 5.1 Hard Drives: 40GB 7200RPM Maxtor Diamondmax, 80GB 7200 Western Digital Caviar Optical Drives: 52x Daewoo CD-RW, LG GSA-4160B DVD-+R/W Mouse: Microsoft Optical Mouse Keyboard: Some Memorex spillproof one (Really is spillproof, I've dumped a coffee on it lol) Monitor: 17" Hansol, I need a new one.....this ones had about enough. Or I need to repair it, but I'm always on it. Outdated? Yeah I guess. But I know my sh!t, and my PC will beat the f**king pants off anything you can buy in a store thats twice as "fast", I'd bet money on it. Mind you twice as "fast" is still outdated! lol
  12. Remember how much 3DO games went for? No wonder I saved up my money for one, and only had one game with it.......sold it later because I couldn't afford around $100 a pop for a game. Games for Atari ST used to run upwards of $400 depending on the title. I remember looking at this one flight simulator in a store, that was $449. Can you wonder why I only owned 1 retail game, and about 5000 pirated games.......and ZERO retail applications? Not that all of them were that retardedly priced, but many were easily over $100.
  13. Yeah pretty much given that developers have to pay multi-million dollar liscening fees in order to sell you and I a game. And since Nintendo is aiming less away from "High end, top of the line BS" you can probably expect Revolution games to be less than 360/PS3 games.......mind you not by much.
  14. It won't ever happen simply because it violates laws of freedom and privacy in EVERY country where freedom is a RIGHT, and that includes the US. Why do you think it still hasn't been put into place? They can't find a legal way to do so.
  15. thats actually not a bad idea if you think about it. How about making the name in colors or something or buying (free) board skins or w/e. And put in a thief command. People always like stealing other people's credits. (Probably they can buy access to the atomic bomb or better weapons? or a secret new forum?) If you're gonna do the Thief thing, it has to revolve around using credits to attempt it too. You risk so many credits for a 1 in 100 chance of a successful theft, more for a 1 in 50.....fail and you lose em, to the person you tried to steal from.
  16. You're gonna spend the money on a 9600 to put in a box that is running SDRAM? PC133 or 100? How fast is the CPU? I'm interested in knowing these, but even without I'll tell you right now........save your money FFS. Spend the same amount on a better card when you have a better system to put it in that isn't going to choke the life out of the card. There is no point putting a new video card in a system that cannot take advantage of it. With an ass slow system bus (Obviously if you're running SDRAM) and a CPU that can't be all that quick to boot, you'd just be throwing in a newer card that won't really perform any better than what you've already got. You're wasting money better spent on upgrading the bones of your computer. Buy something inexpensive thats a big step up from what you've got, keep the MX vid card for the time being.......sell the old stuff on Ebay (People do buy older systems, I for one have em for server uses etc) and then take the money from that and buy a new video card for your better system........sell the old card. Make sense?
  17. 5 posts down. http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15828
  18. You guys are so brainwashed, having a day where everyone in the entire country goes and blows their money, often on crap they don't even need.
  19. Man he looked so old in the first Karate Kid, I thought he was long since dead already.......I can't believe he was only 73 NOW.
  20. I'll also add.....the PS2 STILL has problems, even the latest revisions. Oh and the original Xbox is till burning peoples houses down! So what if a handful (In respect to the total sold) of 360s are having overheating problems, that doesn't mean the system as a whole is no good. If you got stuck with a bad one, I feel sorry for you......but thats your punishment for being a tool that stood outside in the cold for countless hours to pay launch price for a system just because you wanted to be the cool kid on the block.
  21. I was just about to reference the X-S post. Think about how many people now own an Xbox 360, then look at those making public complaints about problems with their system. Then think about all those people without one who aren't saying anything online. The percentage is low, very low, for those with problems. You just don't hear from the people without problems...........
  22. Yeah but Thanksgiving is pimped with the whole autumn, leaves and pumpkins thing. As well as alot of other stuff pertaining to that season. The last Thursday in November is WINTER FFS! lol There's half a foot of snow where I am, if we had Thanksgiving now......it'd be wierd. And the timing sucks, leaves a big gap between the last stat holiday for those who work. (Labor day.....beginning of September, Christmas is less than a month away........at least for my last day at work.)
  23. 4 inches and snowing here. Happy Thanksgiving to all you Americans (I'll never understand why it's so late in November down there)
  24. Whats the definition of "YALL"? Wait a minute, isn't that redneck slang for "All of you"? Or in clearer redneck speak "All you's"?
