  1. That and with the speed of today's computers, it would only take......oh 10 years to write 100PB of data to one disc.
  2. Hurricane after hurricane.......tornado after tornado. When will you rednecks learn to move out of these areas that are hit multiple times EVERY year?
  3. So am I understanding you when I say that you are only getting to the original Gamecube bios? If thats the case, there is a problem with either your E or F wires. Since the LED is coming on, your +5v is ok. It might be possible one of the other wires is loose, but I'd bet on E or F (Check the install diagram). P.S. You haven't had to hold any button down to boot an original with any bios revision beyond 1.0 RC5.
  4. To my knowledge, when you rip an audio CD onto your Xbox it isn't in MP3 format. It is my understanding that it's ripped to XMA (Which is the Xbox equivalent to WMA). I don't recall where they're stored, I'd have to pop in a CD and rip it and check........and I'm too lazy right now. My guess would be in your UDATA folder somewhere.
  5. Wouldn't you just love to have the name "Richard Cranium"?
  6. If subleaf is interested, I can provided testing on an as needed basis. I own a Model 2 Saturn, chipped. 13 original games and "plenty" of backups. I've done compatibility tests for one other emulator in the past for the author, and 2 or 3 others for 3rd parties. I'm available enough to keep up with the requests for testing aspects from the author, and I am trustworthy enough to not go giving out the emulator to ANYONE. PC Specs are: Mobo: Asus P4T CPU: Pentium 4 1.4Ghz RAM: 512MB PC800 RDRAM Video: ATi Radeon 8500 Sound: Soundblaster Live MP3+ 5.1 I have other machines here of lesser specification as well. Ranging from a PII 600 to PIII 933. I am very interested in beta testing this, I take part in several Sega oriented communities where just the mere thought of another Saturn emulator, incites drooling.
  7. Flashing LED is known as a frag, and based upon the issues mentioned there is probably a minor problem with the mod install. There are plenty of error codes on the Xbox, more detailed info on them can be found here. There is also a more detailed explanation of frags here.
  8. Wheres the "jealous" emoticon when you need it? I still have my Saturn, chipped and all......yet this emulator still draws my attention heavily.
  9. I came across this a short time ago, I don't know if it's been posted anywhere else.......but here it is, a 2.2MB PDF file. Supposedly leaked from a 3rd party developer. NintendoRevolution.pdf ############################################## Confirmed as a hoax. // credits to K`dash and JoyStiq.com ############################################## Or you can download the PDF file zipped and load it... NintendoRevolution.zip My personal opinion, it looks like concept designs and bears a striking resemblance to the shape of the Wavebird. Could be real, Nintendo knows most people like the feel of the Gamecube controller......but can't stand the funny shaped buttons, which appear to be returned to somewhat standard shapes. I think it's real, but not final design. EDIT: We have now added the zipped version because some have had difficulty loading the PDF file from their browser.
  10. Sitting at the dining room table is over-rated. I usually eat in the living room infront of the TV, on the couch. It's my home, I'll eat where the hell I want. If I'm in your home, we eat where you want. If I'm out in public......well duh, situation appropriate. Manners are of refinement AND neccessitation, one doesn't always have to sit at some special table.
  11. And if you have a v1.6 Xbox, TSOP flashing is not an option! I don't use UXE, I went with NDURE......and you can disable it, not sure about UXE. A softmod is a much better choice when you use Live as well.
  12. I'm not, this RPG milkage company has gone downhill with it's titles.....hands off Bub and Bob! Sorry, but Taito is one of my fav arcade houses and I'm such a rabid Bubble Bobble fan that I want sheets and curtains for my bedroom with Bub and Bob on em. Unfortunately the wife won't comply.
  13. You have fun with Shenmue 3, I'll play it but the first 2 weren't very entertaining to me. I'm looking forward to a new installation of Afterburner. It's my fav arcade title like TEH EVAR! But, how in the hell can they call it Afterburner 3? Theres already a 3 on Sega CD........I have it.
  14. Nascar = Redneck Racing Beer = Redneck Juice Any more redneck tie-ins? I can't think of any right now.
  15. Why not just check the latest DB backup you have before they were cleared? That'll tell you how many credits were in the treasuries.
  16. I've always been an Intel fan.......until the latter end of the AMD Athlon XP chips started rolling out, and the 64s came. Intel has started going fuxing backwards with chip design, and I now heavily lean towards AMD. Remember how AMD used to get bashed for heat generation? Well it's Intels turn now, their latest chips are furnaces........you don't need any source of heat to keep you warm this winter if you go with Intel. Try and get your hands on a Venice core 64 chip, those things are badass.
  17. Eeeeee! Change that friggin font color, the yellow. Burns my eyeballs trying to read it, may look ok if you're using the dark skin.......but on the light one, it literally hurts the eyes.
  18. Rom = $0 I know, I know. The real thing is nice to have.......but you GOTTA be smoking the rock to spend $800 on an NES game!
  19. No Iso/Bin is selfboot.....EVER. With that said, you can try using "Bin2Boot" on an Iso/Bin to create a selfboot CDI. Be advised however, it doesn't work with every image you'll come across, and beyond that........you'd require some in-depth knowledge of Dreamcast disc layout. Selfboot games are ALWAYS multi-session, with one session being a small dummy session. Since Iso/Bin cannot support multisession, you'll never find one that is. Audio/Data or Data/Data
  20. A $100 difference for a 20GB hard drive, a wireless controller instead of a wired one and a stinkin headset? (Don't even bother mentioning the remote, that was said "Limited time") Am I the only one here that feels thats a ripoff? A 20GB hard drive these days isn't even HALF that cost, and how much difference in cost can there be between a a wired/wireless controller? All told........NOT $100 difference.
  21. I'm married, and don't currently have any pics around to share. Besides, now that I have a daughter....she's the cute one in my life.
  22. Nothing wrong in carrying boxes. Stock = best life. lift boxes, find stuff, playing test computers. Sure, save for the minimum wage or close to it......along with nearly no advancement opportunities. Rock on stock boy! (I did stock for several months at night.......blech)
  23. Not that I hate Macs or anything.......but like really, how can this many people show up and cause such a commotion for one? If they were PC laptops, then I could see it.
  24. AOL makes use of VPN and custom virtual dialup network adapters that tie into their crappy software. One simple way to answer your question.......NO
  25. I don't know why we switched to 2.0......it screwed enough things up and offered hardly any changes worth noting. The IPB team should have released 2.0 as 1.4.......as it didn't warrant a whole new version number, it's essentially still the same.
