As agozer was digging for, not all cracks are "NO CD/DVD", infact alot just bypass protection mechanisms, but still require the disk in the drive. Mount your image or burn to a disc and see if things work. Also when games are finalized for release, they are optimized to make use of the latest driver revisions for video cards etc. Make sure ALL your device drivers are up to date.

Can't really say I know, I stick to the regular ol' one from Sun, I'm not concerned with resource issues on my PC. I remember being able to start the console, and manually configure which Runtimes were used for applets or applications, there used to be a couple different JREs available online, but if you remember Sun forced MS to remove support in their browser and use Suns stuff......they may have killed off these 3rd party JREs as well.

Java........as in cross-platform.......as in should run on most cell phones straight out the box that support Java, however hardware limited. Java itself isn't resource hungry, the runtime environments are, and it all depends on what JRE you run just how hungry it gets, mind you there is a baseline the application starts out at that you just won't change no matter what JRE you run.

I don't reccomend softmodding, you are flashing the onboard TSOP and if ANYTHING goes wrong, you have yourself a dead Xbox motherboard. Spend the money on something like an Xecuter 2.6 if you don't want to/can't afford something better like an Xecuter 3, if something goes wrong during the flash.......at least theres ways around that, screw up the TSOP and it's game over.

Your actually a 1,000 off. Approximentaly 2,500 users have 0 posts. Usually it's a lot more with the other forums you go to. But, this is normal. I also said "inactive" so go back to the Admin panel and count 1000 or so users who haven't been here in over a year.

Yeah well I'm in total disagreement with it. Theres no way in hell I'd ever buy a game I wasn't allowed to see some in-game shots of first. Gotta be honest here and say I NEVER eat a proper breakfast, I don't have time. 5:30am - Get up and go get an XL coffee 6:10am - Go to work 7:00am - Start work eat cookies packed for my lunch 10:15am - First break, where I eat one of the sandwiches from my lunch 12:15pm - Lunch, eat a sandwich and pudding and drink about 1 litre of some kind of fruit juice (Depends what I pack) 5:00pm - Sometimes eat a bag of chips and drink a can of pop 6:30-8:30pm - Dinner is in here somewhere, usually consists of something decent like sausages with potatoes and veggies for instance. 10pm-12am - My midnight snack, usually consists of another full meal but something quick. Is not a snack really, but another dinner. I think I eat rather well, I've taken the time to eat breakfast before but it doesn't make much of a difference, I'm not really hungry in the morning at all. I drink about 2.5 litres of fruit juice (Canned concentrate stuff) and lots of water during the day, I'd say anywhere from 3-5 litres of water. I'm a big guy......that ain't much over a whole day.

Pshaw.......caffeine rules. Coffee is good stuff, and not bad for you. Stop lying to the man. Drinking lots of water is good. But the only eating dinner thing, are you nuts? Do you want to get sick? You need 3 square meals a day, that doesn't mean they need to be stuff thats bad for you, just watch what you eat. And 27 degrees is not hot, last week it was 38 with a 95% humidex......thats HOT especially for up here in Canada, in June........it's never that hot until late July. So humid my clothes would be wet just going outside for 10 minutes. I repeat, Coffee is NOT bad for you. Unless you're an addict........but anything is bad for you in large amounts.

I burned 2 discs and couldn't get either one to work. Both just died at the "Reading game ID" spot. I gave up and said screw it, whats the point, DVDs are cheap anyway. Might as well just stick to one game a disc.

You just bought a Qoob right? You can force Progressive on ANY game from what I've read at the Maxconsole forums. And I never read anywhere or have seen any new cubes without the digital output. Nintendo still sells the component cables, and claims you can ONLY get them from Nintendo (Ya right, I was going to start selling some till I closed my store down) Edit: Just did a few searches on Google. The only thing I can find regarding the lack of Digital Output, is from UK/AUS websites regarding launch systems lacking the digital port. NOTHING regarding the latest batches of Gamecubes in North America, or even in those places. Are you sure of this, because I've been out shopping lately myself and have looked at Cube games and always check out the prices of stuff I already own (And think, 'why didn't I wait?") and they're still the same.

You know, there was the thing about the Revolution not supporting HDTV. I know the Gamecube supports Progressive Scan, 480p. Don't you think the Revolution will at least support that much? If so, whats with all the damn complaining I'm seeing all over the internet? Hell I bet 90% of the people whining don't even own an HDTV, and that 50% of those people don't even know what HDTV is!
