Your threads with 50 billion things in one perturb me......hence I stray from reading em. And this one is certainly a bad idea, E3 consists of ALOT. Too much for one thread. Sorry, but I had to get that out of my system.

PlayStation 3 Officially Announced for 2006
ken_cinder replied to Gryph's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I have one thing to say.... FUGLY!!!!!. It looks like a damn 3DO FZ-10 in silver, and the controller looks like a flocking bat-a-rang. -
PSP and XBOX can talk to each other?
ken_cinder replied to Robert's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
What would really suck about this, from Sony's standpoint, is if the PS3 couldn't interact with the PSP in any way. If your competitors crap can interact with another product of yours, but your product can't.......mmm I smell smoke. -
One of each? Along with a f**cking FULL game for once since the 16bit era maybe? (By full I mean a FULL RETAIL copy with box and manual, not the paper sleeve missing everything crap)

gates is C@#$ blocking PS3 launch
ken_cinder replied to solidius23's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I think the technical disappointment the PS2 was, will hurt PS3 sales on it's own. I still think it was pretty sad that the Dreamcast sported some more advanced features than the PS2 had. I mean c'mon FFS, no hardware FSAA? Both Xbox and Gamecube sported these features on a decent sample scale, not to mention other "standardized" features to a point. Sony better pull out all the stops, or they'll be left with nothing but their fanboys buying their system. -
I'm a little bit behind on this, but tough shiznit. Posted on Xbox-scene.com on the 11th.... If thats true, looks good for horsepower. Here's a link to the article this was taken from.

Wow.....when will the horror stop? Too many of these crappy games already.

Well since your garden variety computer is an x86 system, certainly not. The Xbox 360 is running PowerPC cores. Then there's the fact it'll be running on a totally different OS and filesystem. The closest thing you'd come aross to simply "rip" the emulator out and run it on would be a Mac, and it wouldn't run natively. You'd have to emulate an emulator.......ewww......slow.

MPAA shuts down 6 more torrent sites
ken_cinder replied to Robert's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Movies I can see......but TV shows? Whats stopping me from taping em at home and handing out copies to EVERYONE I know? NOTHING! Not even if I lived in the US. I'm getting so sick and tired of the whining from the MPAA and the RIAA......shut up bitches. -
They seem to be making a big deal about it's size. Nintendo must have forgotten that it's not the size that counts, it's how you use it. Yeah, but what about this projector thingy-majig thats been speculated about? If it's THIS small and it has this built-in projector (How? Really I wonder if it's this small......) that would be cool. You could stick the SOB in your pocket/backpack and bust it out ANYWHERE there was a suitable wall/lighting and GAME ON!

I've seen enough of the Xbox 360 already........I want NINTENDO REVOLUTION (and related) PICS!!!! Lots!!!! Ahem! Excuse my outburst, but the only thing we've heard is in recent posts, and we can certainly assume it's using PowerPC processor(s) again, as it's backwards compatible FO-SHO! We haven't seen SHAT ALL for pictures, not even concepts, and we've seen diddly for hardware specs, other than it's "approximate dimensions" and some minor features. Oh and who cares if IGN or Gamespot will beat him to the chase. He can provide this site with it's OWN pics from E3, for it's users and guests to read in the news!

Sony update locks out recent GB Emuthinger
ken_cinder replied to Wizard's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Jesus christ The last one wasn't hacked at all, it was just an exploit. I know this, I'm just stating the obvious.......Sony's efforts to patch loopholes are in vain. -
Sony update locks out recent GB Emuthinger

Can you spell H A C K E D F I R M W A R E ? If not, see above. Really, it's only a matter of time until every firmware revision currently out/that Sony releases, is hacked to remove this protection. -
It doesn't have an x86 architecture, it uses PowerPC (Like Gamecube), if it is backwards compatible, it emulates the original Xbox. (Of course theres more to it than just simple CPU architecture, but you get the point) Can't say I've read anywhere that it is, but I remember reading awhile back that Microsoft said it won't be. You'll have to wait and see, or bust out google and try and find some more info.

Well that's why you buy the individual songs of servicies like iTunes and this Yahoo thing. Complete waste of my time even signing up for a service like that just to download one or two songs. Even now I hardly have any music I've downloaded. I don't obtain much new(er) music, since almost all of it is crap these days, what I do, I generally buy. I might buy a total of 5 songs in a year off one of those services, and maybe (and I stress MAYBE) 5 CDs in a year. Music just f**cking sucks for the most part now, too many 1 hit wonders and stupid fad artists like Britney Spears, that I can't understand how they even got a record deal in the first place

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Legend Adventures Tactics Anthology Origins Collection XXVII! BLAH!!!!

I simply refuse to pay for music unless it's a whole album that is decent. I'm sick and f'ing tired of these albums coming out that have 1 or 2 good songs on em, and the rest of the album is absolute garbage filler. If it's a case of just 1 or 2 songs being good, I'm downloading.......and I'm NOT paying for it. If it's a whole good album, I buy it. I might consider even buying these crap albums with the 1 or 2 good songs, if I wasn't having to pay $20 for a fuxing CD. Make it $5 and you may have yourself a sale.

Got a mod chip installed that has a built-in FTP server? If not, you need to be running a dash that has one. Either way, read the documentation for either, they generally all have a default username and password.

Not saying I really care, but as for oil........you guys in the US may be using so damn much you have to import it, but up here we export nearly HALF of what we have.
-
And that makes sense how? 1 USD is worth nearly 9 Yuans, and 1 CAD is worth nearly 7. Unless the Chinese economy starts seeing a bigger boost in their economy than we are (Canada, and our economy IS going up) I can't see it happening. Canada was ranked #12 last year for highest GDP per capita...China #122 Start looking up some facts people, I can bring you even more if need be.

What are weird things you like to do?
ken_cinder replied to Gryph's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
If we're speaking of wierd things we do on our computers......... I find myself constantly right clicking and doing "Refresh" on the desktop if I'm idling away sitting here. Mind you theres nothing bad about that, it does free up little bits of resources in use by your shell and other apps that aren't required anymore (Don't believe me? Keep your task manager open to the "Processes" tab and see for yourself.) -
Saw that pic a few days ago. Looks alot more professional than the POS one they made for the original Xbox. Oh and if they don't include it with the system this time around, someone needs to be ass raped at Microsoft.
