Your router, being attached to your modem, does not have it's own external IP address and therefore is neither here nor there. In order to "spoof" your IP for privacy reasons, you need to go through a proxy somewhere.

The rebuild board wasn't in existance when I got my mod. Did it with wires. Worked great the first time, but came loose a few times. Finally I decided to reinstall the entire thing (mainly because the pin header wasn't sitting level).....BAD idea. And when you say $120 for a refurb Xbox, I assume you're talking US dollars, and in that case I call you nuts. When I can buy a brand spankin new one for like $215 CAD (Under $200 on Ebay), no thanks.

Sure, but theres no guarantee I'll be able to get a 1.4 when I go buy another one. If I get stuck with another 1.6, I'm gonna be pretty pissed. I think the hardest part of the whole thing is the damn LPC LAD3, it's so close to the pin header and alot of other points, NOT the D0 like everyone seems to have a problem with. I had ZERO problems getting my D0 on the first time, and it stayed there even when I re-did the mod again (Which is when I fux0red the box somehow)

Are any of the distros FULL functional distros, or are all chopped right down to bare components? I'd like to see a distro that I could actually do something with besides running a browser and screwing with files.

I think what really did it was killing off Westwood and throwing out a POS game called "C&C Generals" that is nothing true to the series. Then tack on the release of NHL 2005, when there isn't even a season this year, PLUS the game is THE worst installment in the NHL series EVER. I deleted it within 5 minutes of playing, it's SHITE! I just use Right Guard Gel, I used to use spray on stuff but I found it was like applying a layer of spray paint when you actually needed it (ie: working hard, it would go all tacky)

This kind of thing is perfectly acceptable in this forum, it's a talent showcase. Things like "Win a free IPOD" are not however, those are just bugging people to help you get things of monetary value.

I wish there was some way I could REALLY make my own judement based on actually testing some compareable rigs......but I'm not rich enough to be buying a bunch of stuff just to build test rigs and sell the one I don't want. Based on previous experience with AMD, I stayed away from them when it came time to build a PC a few years ago. Went with a Pentium 4. Personally I think AMD sucked ass 3-4 years ago, but with all I've been reading lately on AMDs new processors, I think I'd like to give them a chance again. If I got burnt this time though, I think they could kiss my ass goodbye forever.

Some emulators also have support for artwork packages that have the features you speak of. FreezeSMS for example has artwork/info for NES/SMS/GG stuff. I'd really like to have a single frontend like you're suggesting, where it could be totally customizable. Box art, cart scans, manuals etc. For any system you want to add to the FE.

How can you be a site that picks up on these things gone wrong, when there are grammatical errors all over YOUR site? Now that I don't understand. The grammer on this site is terrible in a few places, and spelling mistakes out the wazoo. If you're going to critique emulation websites, get some linguistic talent. Or at the very least, buy a Speak N Spell!
