  1. Can't say I'd know what the problem is, it's working fine right now. Maybe a little server maintenance.
  2. I beat Morrowind in like 10 hours......and I managed to get my hands on some of the best items there are. Mind you that was my second time through the game, and I custom balanced my character to my liking. The first time through I got fed up with how slow I was progressing, after putting in like a month of playing it here and there. I'd have to say the game I spent the most overall "Play Time" on is FFVII. I played for over 80 hours when I first got it, trying to find/do as much as I could.
  3. Not gonna make a giant quote trail here.....lol I shipped it on the 9th, and she got it yesterday. 20 days (Should take no more than 8 days, Air Mail) The problem was, she somehow managed to bypass the Index page and place an order, I had taken the index page offline while I was away for 4 months. So she never heard from me about her order (duh) and filed a claim with Paypal. Paypal being the tools they are never even contacted me with anything more than an automated email stating I had to provide tracking/refund proof, or they'd give her the money back. After they did that, I got furious and emailed them directly explaining the situation, and all I got was a "Sorry we were unable to respond to your email sooner.....please call this crazy ass long distance number that will cost you a fortune, to get your $17 back" I dun think so.....
  4. As a seller, you need to watch out for people who make a claim that they never got their item. Paypal will refund their money without question if you can't provide tracking, or proof that you already refunded their money. One can't always ship things with tracking, I for one can't as the $13.50 Saturn mods I sell would cost $10 to ship, if there was tracking on the package. I just went through an ordeal with a customer who managed to place an order on my site while it was CLOSED, and she filed a complaint with Paypal. 5 days ago Paypal refunded her money because I couldn't provide a tracking number to them......Today, she recieved the item, and lucky for me she emailed me and asked how she could reverse things so I get my money. I learned my lesson, never ship an item out if someone filed a claim with Paypal. Refund them their money if they won't cancel the claim.
  5. /me smacks you audio_sampler : works can reproduce sounds (tried with dsbonga). You either need some sleep or you're being sarcastic lol
  6. I voted "CRAP, still trying to figure out why I still come here" just cause I'm an ass. I don't look at the front page often, and I go straight to the source for emulators etc. Looks good for those who need a bit of a hand in getting started or keeping up to date on things. As for the previous two posts, no matter the portals features, this can be done. Notice in the forums there are buttons beside each header that allow you to expand or collapse them? That could be done, but unfortunately the settings are NOT saved when you change pages. I don't know how to make that happen or I would. As for scrolling text to make the area smaller.......thats a little thing called JAVASCRIPT!
  7. Cracking the encryption on the roms? Who cares? Would you PAY for this service when you know you can get ahold of yours for free, and NOT encrypted? ROOFLES! I know I wouldn't.
  8. If you were required to buy a projector for this feature, it'd be a proprietary one from Nintendo. I doubt that though, this would be something built into the console itself. And I would hope you could hook it up to your TV as well.
  9. Err try looking in the options, I know theres a checkbox just for this specific thing. To return the volume to what it was. I stopped using Musicmatch awhile ago though. I hated the way Winamp was, but MMJB has gotten really bloated since about v7, and Winamp got better before it's demise.
  10. I highly doubt it. Not if reading the IGN article is proof of anything. If they were testing a 3D projection system on the cube, then they've got it down solid for the next console. And gyroscopic controllers? Can we say REAL analog control over your games? In a true 3D manner? Think of the possibilities with games like Rogue Squadron etc, real freespace control in an environment designed for it.
  11. Sounds cool, but the bastard better not require anything special to use it. And by that, I mean even having to turn the lights off in the room it is in. If it does, it better hook up to my TV too!
  12. The wife is off work for the next year, I'll be damned if I'm the one getting up at 3am to change a diaper. lol
  13. Her name is Seraphine
  14. 8:40am this morning, now I'm a daddy! She isn't as big as we expected, but she's far from small or unhealthy, fiesty actually. 19.5" long and 5lb 11.7 ounces and cute as a button. Just got home now for a rest after being at the hospital since 6am.
  15. Actually, it is no more. Almost all original WW members have left EA Games. All thats left is one guy, and he's the guy who made RA2: Yuri's Revenge. Generals is awsome, but RA1 will always hold true. Where will you be when the world ends? I didn't know there was only one staff member left working for EA, you spend ENTIRELY too much time reading up on these things. Get a life!
  16. Another 2D, old school style C&C game........cause Westwood is "theoretically" no more. FYI I think C&C Generals is garbage, and it doesn't hold true to the gameplay/style of the series ONE BIT.
  17. I get funny waves/lines across the screen at my Boot selector when I hit Enter (I dual boot 2k/XP), but I attribute that to being something to do with NTLDR or the fact that I'm using a different bootscreen. Don't have any problems otherwise, but that still is wierd.
  18. Porsche Unleashed not working straight up on XP? Talk about wierd, I've run Hot Pursuit on XP without any compatibility mode used. I don't have this game though, but it's still surprising.
  19. You tell em, the messy bastards! Might as well be AOLers, it's just as big a crime to have a desktop covered in icons
  20. If you're running XP, use StyleXP. Windowblinds is TEH SUCK. If you're running anything else, I dunno.....UPGRADE!
  21. Very easy, and it's just as functional as Explorer, if not more. There are, as with anything, a few quirks that might get on your nerves till you figure a way around em. It isn't a file manager too though (Explorer can function as either or both), I use Directory Opus for that. The big focal point for Aston is that it uses around 4.5-5MB of memory on avg, compared to Explorer using 36MB on avg! I've tried Litestep as well, but it uses 3x the resources Aston does, and it's too quirky/annoying to setup.
  22. My Desktop I don't do Explorer, or anything else made by Microshat for that matter beyond the basic core of Windows. If you're wondering what my shell is, it's Aston and I'm running XP Pro. The drive listing on the left auto-hides, but I made it stay so it could be seen. I'm also a neat freak, desktops covered in shortcuts/icons are EWWW.
  23. I'm a gamer and I don't use FAT32 :\ IMO NTFS is better for XP. Your pagefile is rediculusly high, what do you do other then gaming and word processing? If you do massive media editing then, I understand. I do alot of everything, including video editing and alot of archiving, and a 1GB pagefile isn't rediculously high. What might I ask do you consider to be a "normal" size pagefile? Most recommend 1.5x your physical RAM (Mine being 512MB, that would be a 768MB Pagefile), I opted for a little more.
  24. And there are reasons why a gamer chooses FAT32. Even Microsoft themselves did a performance benchmark with the 2 filesystems to see what was the better choice. For performance, FAT32 did somewhat better than NTFS, but ONLY if the volume sizes were small. This is why my on my primary drive I have 2 8GB partitions for my games, and I use my other drive for storage and keep my pagefile on it, in it's own 1024MB partition.
  25. I do. My primary drive is Fat32 for performance reasons. My secondary drive is NTFS with itty bitty clusters for storage reasons.
