I've always found that wierd, you can cash paycheques, get money orders and even buy liquor in grocery/convienence stores in the US. Can't do that here in Canada, at best we have places like "Money Mart" etc that will give you payday advances, or cash your paycheque if you don't have a bank account etc. Oh and I get 5 free money orders a month through my bank, but thats because I have their highest tier account, and it costs me a higher service charge per month. Though it's well worth it in my case of always using my bank card for everything, never carrying cash on me etc

Person buying it: Pros - Once you've given the bank/post office your money for it, it's guaranteed money. There are security features built into the printing, and only the person it's made out to can cash it. So if it's lost or stolen, you could go back to the place you got it (WITH your reciept) and get a replacement. Cons - Costs money to purchase one in most cases Person recieving it: Pros - Guaranteed funds, since it's not a personal cheque. Only you can cash it, so again, if it's lost or stolen, you can inform the sender to obtain a replacement. Cons - You may have to wait a certain number of days for it to clear, if it's from a different country.

I just like playing my games The problem doesn't lie in the power needed either, a slower PPC cpu still has more "horsepower" than even the faster (If you think Mhz/Ghz really means everything) 64bit x86 CPUs. It's just a translation issue, RISC vs CISC, you name it......too much BS if I was a PC developer, to bother porting my crap over to PPC from x86. Not to mention, do most of these companies even have people with the skills/talent/experience required to do so? I betcha 90% don't.

PC, as in x86? Failing to remember that this system is to be running PowerPC CPU(s)? Little bit of a thing called "Incompatibility" there. Unless you see the "PC" game on a Mac too, or theres explicitly a port from the get-go, don't expect to see many ports to this system from PC further along the lines after the PC version comes out.

Nevermind, I just came to the realization that I could take the pin header off of an old Trio 64 PCI video card I had laying around. Looks like I don't have to pay some retarded shipping ammount for something that costs little more than a dollar.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement pin header? I broke mine (Don't ask) I've found some at a few places, but for only $1.50-$2.00 a piece, paying $10-$17 shipping is a f**cking joke.

I've noticed the same issue with a couple other games myself, been awhile since I even ran ePSXe, so I can't remember what games they were. On the note of FMVs, is it just me or does it appear they get "stretched" to the same resolution as the game itself is (Say you're running at 1024x768?), and they look like SHAT compared to on an original PSX? I think video plugins should be written to be able to tell the difference and not stretch FMVs if this is the case, if it's not, maybe I need to get my eyes checked.

Actually it's doujin of yufi, aeris and tifa on last part of the 4 disc. The 5 disc includes a increased hole size in the center of the disc. ROOFLES!

I'm going to close this thread for the simple fact that I feel it to be boardline on breaking the rules, and of no real purpose as the forum is for the purposes of discussing DSEmu, not roms. I could have bid on an auction for 7 NEW PC copies only 5 or 6 months ago on Ebay, and I've seen auctions like it (For multiple sealed copies) several times. Copies of FFVII for PC are abundant, so much so that people are practically giving them away at times. (That auction for 7 copies closed at like $23, I woulda bid but wtf would I do with the other 6 copies? Sell em? Not at a profit, thats for sure.......I'd have to give em away) Anyway the PC version blows, the music is MIDI FFS! That alone is enough, not to mention the FMVs and overall "fuzzy" look compared to the Playstation version.
