Porn! We need porn, and lots of it! Actually we need more development here, some more emulator authors or people doing translations etc Oh and downloads - emulators, gameplay footage, patches etc I realize there is a downloads section, but to be honest.....it's ugly and not very well organized (ie: too large and boding)

Bad idea, very bad idea. Now we all know just how crappy Microsoft is, and how insecure their software is.........but when they release a fix, it's usually for a very good reason, and usually patches the problem up. (Even though thats just a band-aid solution) If uninstalling a hot fix corrected a problem with a 3rd party application, it's most likely this 3rd party application has issues of it's own that need to be addressed. I've got XP with SP2 and every hot-fix to date, and my computer runs smooth as silk. (Mind you I turned off all the useless crap in SP2, like security centre) If your computer is having serious issues, make sure ALL your drivers are up to date (Not just your video card, not just your sound card......EVERYTHING, especially if you're running a motherboard with a VIA chipset, VIA is teh suck), and make sure your bios is flashed with the latest revision bios available for your motherboard.

I didn't "only" post in Current Affairs, and he didn't spoil my fun, he just didn't like me pointing out the fact he's a lying coward who was exploiting the emulation scene for money and was power happy with users on his site. See above, and note that Tim banned me after I called him out for messing with filters on the board so as to make my nickname appear distasteful, and saying he put the filter in because of a word someone posted in a thread (Theres no way in hell some thread matched the part of my nickname......and the filter's still in place to this day) That's weird. Cinder is filtered? Why dun u ask Gamecop to lift it? Or can't you lift it? Errr not here, not now.......long ago, nevermind lol

Bush Seeks Funds for Abstinence Education
ken_cinder replied to KyokugenKiss's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Money for abstinence education in the US? Why not take that money and put it towards the same thing in 3rd world countries, so they stop popping kids out left and right that they can't feed because they have nothing better to do than screw? It'll save the US money in the long run, as well as every other country from sending aid to these countries overpopulated by savages that have nothing better to do that get it on. Not to mention it would make the Christian Childrends Fund look lame (And it is, cause they don't teach these people about birth control, it's against the Christian religion, thus it's not done........they just keep pumping money in and not teaching them ANYTHING) -

Bare minimum to not be wasting your money/making a stupid purchase..... a Radeon 9600 I'd recommend an NvIdia card, but the last NvIdia I ever had was a GF3, and I'll NEVER own another NvIdia card in my life.

Now that I'm entirely unsure about. I stay away from Microsoft's proprietary formats, money hungry bastards they are.

Post processing plugins can't and won't affect the playback of CDDA audio, it's already "CD Quality" anyway. I do understand what you're after though, some of the plugins do some neat stuff, and it would be nice......but it's just not possible with DSP plugins that do post-proceessing on the audio. MP3's are decoded and processed, CDDA is pure and is not.

Wireless technology is still crap, consumer grade stuff is garbage and I don't see why people insist on buying it. Take a baseball bat to it, then your parents have no choice.

The link you gave is about windows, not MacOS. However, maybe John the Ripper could help if the pass is not too complex. If you read his post, it sounds like he wants to use a MAC to troubleshoot a PC that someone forgot the password to. If this wasn't the case, why would he be asking about formatting a hard drive with a Windows filesystem, using a MAC?

This should be of use to you. FYI, in the future, remember google is your friend. If you can't find something using Google, you're trying too hard (ie: using too many words)

The simple issue with the process isn't that it's not doable without special software, it's the fact that the images are passed through a framebuffer. To screencap a video, you have to capture from the framebuffer. Some apps don't support this, and you need to use another app that does. Printscreen doesn't capture from the framebuffer but what is directly drawn on your screen.

IMO the soundtrack in 2 is absolute CRAP! Snoop ruined "Riders on the storm" by The Doors....thats enough to make it suck, but there isn't a single track in the game that isn't junk.

Ran that test for a game...... The system scan has been blocked by the security settings of your browser. To continue, please do the following: Click on the yellow Information Bar Select "Install ActiveX control" from the menu Select "Install" when asked if you want to install the Measurement Services Client You need to complete this procedure only once. Alternatively, you can choose to cancel the system scan and return to the game info. AHAHAHAHA! NO! FYI my computer is "sufficient" enough to run Doom 3. If you go by the Doom 3 manual, I technically don't even meet the minimum requirements. (Now I already know I can run this game just fine, but thats due to my awesome mangement skills with my own PC ) This thing LIES! The avg user running a PC with my specs, would NOT be able to run Doom 3 at a playable speed.

Been there, done that......last MONTH! Anyway, I'll eat anything.

That game advisor thing doesn't seem to be loading. Firefox says "Done" in the bottom left and I have an app that monitors\limits bandwidth usage, and firefox has no incoming/outgoing bandwidth usage. Does it work in Firefox? Cause it doesn't seem like it for me.

DBZ is teh whey ghey.

Well it is entirely possible to leave your XP installation just the way it is. It's just that the NT Loader gets replaced with one from the Win2K install, and it's not compatible with XP (The XP one is backwards compatible however) Simply installing on another disk doesn't allieviate the problem, you still need the bootloader on your root drive (C:), so no matter where you put the install it will be affected. I'll attach the needed fix here, and you can take it from there. (Needed instructions are shown right in the RAR itself) WinXP_Boot_Fix_After_Installing_Win2K.rar

Thanks for the suggestions people. I had already had a good half of what was mentioned (I knew a bit about some stuff, like XBMC being something I'd want) As for FTP, I do that right from my chips bios, it seems to be faster than any of the dashboards etc (5-6MB/s.....EvoX is ass slow, like 47kb/s) P.S. If you want at the latest builds of XBMC etc, use #xbins on EFNet and get yourself into the FTP.

I run 2k, XP and Mandrake Linux. Theres no issue with doing so AT ALL. There are some things you have to remember though, like the fact the 2k bootloader is NOT compatible with XP. You MUST install Windows 2k BEFORE XP, or you'll render your XP installation useless. (There is a way around this, to fix XP after, but I won't get into it) My disk(s) setup is as so: -=Drive 1 - 40GB=- C: - Windows 2000 Pro = 3035.7MB D: - Windows XP Pro = 4965.4MB Linux EXT3 = 8228.6MB Linux Swap = 768.7MB E: - Programs = 2996.5MB F: - Games = 8997.3MB G: - Holdings = 9177.7MB -=Drive 2 - 80GB=- H: - Swap (For Windows XP Swap file) = 1043.3MB I: - Isos = 15241.3MB J: - Music = 5898.8MB K: - Movies = 8016.8MB L: - Emulation = 46084.9MB I like my nice clean and organized setup, and I hate the "Program Files" folder! Shame on you Microsoft! I organize my apps/games to entire partitions just for them.

There's an English option on the site, though even it has some areas of rough translation. I registered to become a tester, worth seeing if it could help me quit.
