I have to ask the author(s) what goals they have set for this emulator, that differ from current existing emulators. Do you have any goals set to do anything other emulators haven't done already? I ask because I'm always curious about new emulators and what the authors intend for the project to accomplish.

They're tacky? They don't mean anything, members and valuable posts do? Are there really any other reasons needed?

Just finished installing my Xecuter 3 and flashing it to the latest bios. Now's the time for me to ask...... What does a guy like me need? What are the best dashboards out there? What are the best emulators for Xbox? ( By system please) What about applications, such as media players etc? Which ones are the best? Everyones opinions are welcome, I'll give anything a try at least once.

Actually it isn't released until the 17th, but yes it has been ripped. Obviously another one of the rarities, seeing a PC game ripped a week or more in advance or it's shelf date. Usually one only sees PC games ripped one or two days before release.

You should make it run random ads and let me add a banner for my store there too. Help me get things rolling better, and of course make a bit of money off any sales to help run this place. But of course we talked about this some time ago, and came up with some other ideas too. Maybe we should conference again.

It could totally be to do with the version of Dicjuggler used to create the CDI file(s). Get a newer version of Isobuster or use the latest Daemon Tools and mount the CDI. I must ask why you want to extract the files, and why you would want to make a non MIL disc? Why would you want to render a selfbooting disc, non selfbooting?

Mmmm bust out the salsa con queso! (Seriously, could you not see yourself having a Blu-Ray burner one day, and mistakenly eating one of your discs while sitting at the computer? I know I could!) FYI Sony and some other company have also created a Blu-Ray disc made from PAPER, and you can cut it with scissors to destroy it. How ingenious. NOT! Talk about easy to damage.

Good luck getting your hands on a copy early now. I'm willing to bet any of the stores fingered for selling copies early, has been handed some sort of stiff penalty and you won't be finding any more "earlybirds" such as one store near you that EVERYONE knows about.

I think you all missed the original point, and Magnis wasn't specific enough. Last night the headline picture for that news story, had a filename of "@$$hole.jpg". I'm willing to bet someone at Netscape got fired, as the "news" regarding the filename of the picture spread pretty fast and it got changed within a few hours. But it was all over many boards/sites that it had happened.

I'm buying an Xecuter 3, as it seems to be the best choice for the money ($56). I also have a v1.6 Xbox, for which there is no solderless solution. Mind you it can be installed with a pin header solution and only requires 4 wires to solder, so it's not all that bad.

Any package you buy will clearly state that the cable, is a crossover cable. Standard cables otherwise not marked as such, and are used for hooking up to a hub/router etc. FYI Crossover cables are usually yellow too. It seems to be the color reserved for crossover, as I've never seen a crossover that wasn't yellow, nor a standard cable that was yellow.
